Relating to my other thread on here ( What power to expect ) It has come to me that my head gaskets could be the wrong size and thickness. I orginallly thought standard piston size was 87.5? or is it 87.0? I have a receipt saying that my block was rebored and hatch honed by 0.20 .5mm which made me think it was an 88mm piston overbore. So now my pistons are either 87.5 or 88mm depending on standard piston size? The head gasket supplied to me are of a 88mm bore and of .45 thickness that i was assured was the right spec i needed even with skimmed heads. Ive read a few writeups which makes me think that the bore size of the gasket should be slightly b…

Well, planning to turn my roof bars black this weekend, but decided that with the Targas off, the black roof bars would look rather silly with a white roof! So spent most of this afternoon painting the roof black. The finish is not as good as I would like but then it's my first time doing something like this. What do you think? Its been like it for ages now but decided today to do something about it. Basically the left hand exhaust 'splutters' whereas the right hand one is as it should be. I changed the coil packs over left to right but its still the same, however I did notice the spark plug in the rear-right (looking from the front) had a bit of oil on the threads, not a great deal though. Would this indicate a problem? I've done a search but not really found the answers. What would I need to check now? thanks in advance, the car goes ok but I can't help but think its not as good as it could be! :scooter:

I'm trying to decide weather or not to give my car a slight Bodykit and i'm looking for options. fromt, back and side skirts. I'd like to see some pics of White Z's whith kits on to see what they look like then i can decide which way to go. I may just change the front, back or add sideskirts (or a combination/full kit) but i'd like to see some efforts before i make up my mind. If you have any pics of White z's with Kits on them, please share :) Peter

A big thanks to Jeff, Jamie and Lynda! I collected my car this morning after having the A/C pump replaced. And it was much needed on the drive home - it was hot and sunny outside but once again the inside of the car was like a fridge. Excellent!! Oh, and I had some new front discs/pads fitted which have definitely improved braking; an oil and filter change and a good undersealing!! Thankfully the underside of the car is clean and sound. It looked OK from what I could see when I bought it last year, but is was comforting to hear Jeff say it was good. So not all UK cars are rusty!!! Finally a "get well soon" message to Jamie's wife as she is not very wel…

Do these have to be red? I'd like to change mine to clear or smoked. These are the ones at the sides of the car - not the ones on the rear lights. do they have to light up or is that only in certain countries?

I bought JDM TT and maximum speed control is 68 mph. It is too small. US and europe version have 110 mph speed control. How adjust speed control ECU for larger speed? Any resistors must be remove/adjust.
