My car is yellow, what colour do you think would be best for the calipers? I'm thinking yellow or red. You can really see them through my wheels, so want them to look good, replacing a few brake pipes later, so might as well do it all at once, cheers....

Any suggestions where I might get pipework to allow a double induction kit to be fitted in place of the standard air box? Had seen a supplier of one previously, but afraid my memory lets me down these days :-)

Looking into buying a 300zx with cats removed, decat pipes instead. Have heard this will reduce turbo life. Car has around 60,000 miles, am I stupid to look at a car of this mileage with decat as the turbos (£1000+ to replace) could well be on there way home.

After the roof painting exercise yesterday, went for the roof bars themselves today. Decided to use black glossy vinyl, as a quicker and easier option, and one that I could easily reverse if I had to. A huge thanks to Wooly for his advice, help and materials. The job was OK, and got easier as I progressed. The great thing about using the vinyl is that I can easily redo any of the bars in the future if I decide the look isn't as perfect as I would like. Glittery candy red veilside kitted zed in mcdonalds carpark Preston , Lancs. Affirms that only the MR2 suits this kit but looked well looked after nether the less. Would have been in mine had the wheel not come off on the M6. steptoe

Anybody have trouble fitting BBS wheels or indeed lightweight wheels in general? Went to fit the rears today just to see the how they fitted with the offset, but just discovered that I'll need to get a different set of wheel nuts and perhaps a replacement set of bolts for the hub as there doesn't seem to be a lot of the existing bolts coming through the wheel for the wheel nuts to get much grip. Anybody encounter this before? Also just in case I don't need to replace the wheel bolts, what is the thread type of the existing bolts? Thanks in advance.

...I'm just reviewing the handful of screws and bits I've got left after re-trimming lol, and I notice this. I definitely remember taking it out but I can't for the life of me remember where from - does it belong near the glovebox? Everything is solid and doesn't seem to be missing anything!

Headed down to Goodwood this morning around 7am hoping to burgle the zed onto the track along with all the other soft-tops...it worked! One of the stewards said, "I no your not a soft-top but go for it!" Another massive turn out for the breakfast club at Goodwood. Really good morning...the cars were more than half way up the Lavant straight which is a record number of cars. Anyone else there? Saw a couple of people take pictures of the zed so i was happy!

Hey, I know there is a lot of confusion over the specs of a ZX , but I was wondering what of a stock auto 300zx TT the 0-60 would be, BHP, and top speed with limter removed. Its a JAP import if that makes any difference (is there any difference between the imports and UK models)? Cheers jack

as the title says cant believe im posting this but here goes lol a while back i was told by si that if i removed my dump valves it would help my car, well today got round to doing it and did it help?.........YES there is now no stutter when under boost and overall the car feels more responsive and smooth so thanks si lol (could have been that the recircs were still conected mind you but its done the job for now)

Relating to my other thread on here ( What power to expect ) It has come to me that my head gaskets could be the wrong size and thickness. I orginallly thought standard piston size was 87.5? or is it 87.0? I have a receipt saying that my block was rebored and hatch honed by 0.20 .5mm which made me think it was an 88mm piston overbore. So now my pistons are either 87.5 or 88mm depending on standard piston size? The head gasket supplied to me are of a 88mm bore and of .45 thickness that i was assured was the right spec i needed even with skimmed heads. Ive read a few writeups which makes me think that the bore size of the gasket should be slightly b…

i have a set of volk racing alloys 17in with 225 tyres, what are they worth if anything. they are silver with crome outer.

hi im having problem with clutch, sometimes it gets stuck when pushed and only if i pump the clutch it frees up. dont think it needs a new one but as im new to owner not too sure. when it is stuck it doesnt go into gear easily. if its working normally the biting point is fairly low so it cant be clutch cable? any ideas??

The rear end of a Z, with no rear bumper on, must be an import. Reason - I am changing the UK rear bumper for a JDM one and I need to know where the number plate holder needs welding on :cowboy: thanks in advance! :batman:

Well, planning to turn my roof bars black this weekend, but decided that with the Targas off, the black roof bars would look rather silly with a white roof! So spent most of this afternoon painting the roof black. The finish is not as good as I would like but then it's my first time doing something like this. What do you think?
