If you don't mind that is. I'm admiring the look of the wheels you have on your car in your signature. The one thing I don't like on my buggy is that the wheels/tyres don't fill the arches properly so I'm considering a new set of feet. Yours is just about bob on in my eyes so can you tell me what dimensions your combo is please? Wheels - Diameter/width/offset Tyres - Width/wall depth. As always, thanks in advance.

....this is pretty good value IMO! I'd consider it if I had the space on my driveway! Nice little project and wouldn't be hard to make nice. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-NISSAN-300-ZX-TURBO-MANUAL-WHITE-/230487649536?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35aa226d00

Since I've had the car it's vibrated noticeably on the motorway. Nothing to do with the road surface. I've just had my wheels balanced at a place that came recommended to me and I have to say, meticulous isn't the word. What a place, and what a nice bunch of guys!! Thy even gave the suspension and brakes a bit of a health check while they were at it and it was dirt cheap too. They even do 4 way alignment if anyone's interested in the Bristol area. (Turns out my car has HICAS. Didn't know that!! DOH!) Anyway, to my point. The vibration, while much better, is still there. Any of you guys got any thoughts on what else it might be? I was thinking prop' bea…

Did anyone from here buy my aftermarket silver headlight panel from ebay on 08/06/2010 ?. If so, when the fook am I going to get paid ??? I just don't understand it. If I win something on ebay as soon as it finished I click the pay now button. Why is it I'm continually left waiting for payment. It's so annoying as you purposly list all your items to finish at the same time to save additional trips to the post office. I've got 4 open cases now for unpaind items, all buyers have more than 50 feedback which why I'm so surprised. I've been left waiting 5 weeks for payment on 6 stock injectors which sold for £28 + £4.70 p&p. 5 weeks !!!!. 6 weeks n…

What do you think will happen to the 300zx Z32 models in say, 20-30 years? I can't picture them being such a special sought after car like the 240z for example, will prices go through the roof, will there be any left on the road, it does make you wonder! I have no plans at all to get rid of mine, but ultimately I want a decent SWB shell to reshell mine into, then it would be easier to fit in the garage lol

Anyone had any dealings with these bushes , thinking of re-furbing my arms and these you can adjust to alter your camber ????? but how , without pressing them out and re-fitting it again and again until you get the correct camber reading , unless there,s flats on the ends of the bush to get a spanner on and turn them like snail cams , i,m confused :yes: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300zx-Z32-Coupe-Control-Arm-Upper-Inner-Outer-Ec-/370299886554?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item563797dbda

Hey everyone, Do you recon the front bumper support (the bar type thing behind the bumper where the fogs sit) is important if the bumper is an original hard plastic one and not fibre glass?? I'm looking to fit fog air ducts at the front for my side mount, which would mean cutting of the bit on both ends I guess. However, the middle bit of the support is not allowing my bumper to fit on straight. So am thinking to either cut the middle bit off or just remove the whole thing.. If it was a fibre glass bumper then I understand the importance of this but is it the same with proper bumpers??? Also, people with fog ducts, what have you done with your bumper suppo…

Would a Jap TT owner be kind enough to look at their relay/fuse box in the engine bay (passenger side) and tell me the spec/part number of the "sub fan" relay. Called Nissan and was advised they can't help me without the part number as their screen data is in Japanese! http://www.cazracing.com.au/catalog/images/P7270038_edited.JPG Alternatively, if anyone has removed their aircon system and wants to sell their relay, I'd be intersted. Thanks

  17. After all the work to find where the vacume pipes go and to finish the rebuild of the passenger side head and replacement piston ,the car now starts fine and ticks over very smooth, when i drove it on the road 30-40 mph with gentle throttle it cut out like was starved of fuel it then perked up and ran fine for about 15 miles,i took it for an mot yesterday and it passed with no problems,i collected it from the mot station thismorning and felt confident to give it some throttle but the car felt very held back and didnt boost ,the revs semed to stop at 5 and there was no power,it then started cutting out in a on off way but it did not stall, then it settled down and ran fine …

Morning All A recent conzult power balance test highlighted an issue with No. 6. Despite this, car was running fine. Anyway, decided to change plugs yesterday for the cooler NGK PFR6B-11B's. No 6 plug had some oil on the end and evidence of a burn mark. Other plugs and all coilpacks were fine. Did a dry compression test and cylinders 1-5 showed 165psi but no.6 stopped at 90psi  Re-tested and same readings. As I said, the car seems to run fine - no hesitation, misfire etc but clearly there's a problem as there should only be a 14psi maximum difference between the cylinders. A little research suggests that as there is low compression on a single cylinder, it …

I just couldn't resist. Saw them today and bought them today. 17" BBS split rims 9j Offset 26 shod with brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R all round. Fingers crossed the rears will fit without having to slightly modify the inner lip of the rear wheel arch. They were originally made for an awd vehicle. The fact that they are not staggered doesn't bother me in the slighest. These are in excellent condition with no damage. Allegedly they did less than 1000 miles but I think they were refurbished previously, not that it really matters. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think they are stunning

Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of a VG30TT flywheel please? and if a measurement can be applied to the ring gear, that too please! Trying to find out if one can drop into my engine/box but need to make sure the starter motor all matches up ok. Cheers :)

  22. Looking at the service manual they recommend an antifreeze with an ethylene glycol base, the cheaper traditional short life antifreezes fit this but always double check. It is interesting that the zed is plagued with coolant leaks and for the last ten years longer life coolants have been made with more aggressive acids, that may be eating away at heater cores, rads and pipes! So maybe to try and avoid the the problems with the zed it may be wise to : use ethylene glycol antifreeze only 50/50 mix with distilled water only (not deionised) Change coolant yearly

I have a strange one here. i have a new timing belt to fit on an engine im doing up in my garage on an engine stand. Now the original belt is a nissan with the same part number as my new belt. Now when i line up the timing marks on the cams, they are about a cm out on the belt that is fitted. After turning the engine round several revolutions to see if it will line up eventually, it seems that it doesnt line up at all any closer than the cm away from the timing marks. I was told the engine ran fine from Mike Feeney, whom i got the engine from, so do i ignore the way the belt is fitted and put the new one on with the timing marks matching or do i follow how the old belt…
