Hi everyone! Yesterday as I pulled away from a traffic light I`ve heard and felt a noise apparently from the rear of the car. This noise happens only in first and sometimes second gear and feels like driving on stones.... Three maybe four times "knock knock, knock" and than everything normal... Tomorrow I`m gonna have it checked but I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me what to look for. One more thing...before that to happen I was driving the car quite hard but that`s not the first time....so I`m thinking that my problem could come from suspension, springs... Would that be possible? Thank you.

What's going on here lol, I've seen it on a few Z's in pics so I know it's not just me, the rear light centrepanel is out of line where it meets the driverside lens. It sticks out towards the rear about 2mm and really is beginning to cheese me off, I've tried removing the seal from behind, tightening up the nuts further nothing budges it! It can push in fine by hand but can't be tightened into place.. am I missing something simple?

Looking for some guidance from anyone who has these fitted. What have you done with the stock ducts and undertray as these are too small for the Pace's? I have a 99 spec bumper and am trying to figure out how to maximise the air flow to the I/C's. Obviously the ducts are beneficial in directing the incoming air but are they entirely necessary or will the inlets on my bumper be sufficient? If possible, want to try and avoid fabricating new ducts. Cheers

Spent the afternoon fitting the K-Sport 330mm front kit with DS2500 pads. Just thought I'd pop my thoughts down to help anyone considering them. The kit is absolutely top notch. The calipers and discs are top draw stuff! The brackets are very very well made and I have NO concerns over strength. The pads are so easy to fit, the bolts etc all spot on. Instructions are typically poor, but the job is very easy to figure out. Small let down in the shape of the supplied hoses. Only one line lock and made of rubber only, like a grommet. Couldn't or wouldn't get on with those so used my old braided hoses and adapted the caliper connection. Absolutely no need to r…

Hello folks! As some of you knows, I want to buy a Z I had one before but I can't tell anything about it as I had it for a very short time. My Q is, which one will be better for me, n/a or TT? I need a car that is reliable and reasonably cheap in maintenance as I'm 20yrs old and my sallary is around 1200/1400 per month. I'm saving around 6oo/65o/7oo quid every month. Don't talk about insurance as I know it's mega expensive that's why It will be insured for my parent, How much do you spend for your Z every month ? [stock car, without mods] Sorry for my English guys, It's not perfect but I hope you understand what I mean, thanks Thanks…

Its a 1990 manual twin turbo. i get a little noise in 2nd and 4th, it sounds like its wearing somthing in the box. just had the box out to replace the clutch so not looking foreward to doing it again. i didn't notice the noise at first because there was a horrible whirring sound from the fan on the interiour light, after changing the clutch and sorting out the fan noise i then discovered the gear box noise. its not to loud, but very distinktive in 2nd and 4th only. gear box oil was topped up when the clutch was changed so i don't think its that. any help would be greatly appriceated. Chears Steve

Not even Bob has seen it yet. We are still in the planning stage hence my various posts requesting help, information and opinions. I am in the middle of blanking off my recircs, and on the drivers side theres a bit of oil in the pipework either side of the recirc. Does this indicate anything? I've done a search but cant find anything! :helpsmilie: Also, is this the sort of thing I need to blank them off?

Well I have been busy on and off in the last couple of days. Not needed the car so I set about removing the headlights :glare: Not too bad a job, just the inner rear bolt one ratchet at a time!!! Wife actually helped me with her small hands, although she takes great delight in showing me her cuts!!! Luckily, if I can call it that  the passenger side one was missing, just a 6mm bolt dropped in from the top to make it look like there was one in - result!!! Heated up the gunge and got the glass off, someone as had them off before so it was not too bad. :sweatdrop: So many jobs can be done whilst they are out, I knew some of the adjusters were broke…

Just noticed these. They appear to have been hit by the electric fan blades. I think it's been like this for some time. Everything is working perfectly though, so I am at a loss as to what they are for.

I put a 3G big brake kit conversion on my car a while back. I now need new rotors (or full disks) for them. I can't seem to get any response from 3G and I don't know if they're still trading. Does anyone know where I could get some from or whether any other disks will fit this kit? I'm reluctant to purchase a completely different big brake kit from another manufacturer. Ta
