Well, after working on my zed all winter, i put her in for it's MOT this morning. Came back with NO ADVISORIES except the emissions were a little high (but still within tolerance). HAPPY DAYS! Another years motoring :D

Hi ya'll, been hammering this forum today, many helpful replies too! Should I get one of those in-line pipe efforts with the threaded hole for the water temp sensor (aftermarket), if so, where should I put it? It should be at the top of the coolant system, only one pipe, but it has a bend in it, would I be able to bung one in there? And what size is the pipe (internal diameter)? Thanks again, ooh, anyone got a picture of one of these fitted? Cheeeerrssss....

well ust took the zed oput for a run today now i have got the radiator done and it's not lost any coolant in last few days, on getting back just now though i noticed steam rising from under the bonnet on inspection it looks to be coming from roughly centre (injectorish area ) on the plenum on the passenger side turbo water pipe maybe? i noticed there was no pressure in rad and a very small puddle of water but rad seems full at mo is this a plenum off job to fix? also if i leave car on tickover for 10 mins or so i'm getting blueish smoke out of the drivers side exhaust give the throttle a blip and it clears could this be pcv valves? i noticed the passenger side valve …

I think black is master red is valet. I only have red what am I missing by not having the black? Thanks

Where is the best place to route a pipe for a boost gauge and wires for other gauges from the engine bay to cab?

Any one got a lock set 2 doors, boot and ignition or know if I can get a copy key from nissan through the chassis no, reg no or engine no? With titanium key if poss.....lol

hi zedders, this morning i spotted a blue z32 sitting outside my house,i went to have a z chat as this has happened before on zeds passing my house but by the time i got to the door it drove off. its always nice to find z fans popping in for a chat,even if i dont know you, other that the sticker www300zx........and its a blue z32 with the big rear spoiler thats all i know,also it does not have a standard z exhaust as i heard it leaving my village(east saltoun)east lothian. next time pop in. george

Is it necessary to put PTFE tape on the oil pressure sender? They are a tapered fitting, so shouldn't need it, but have seen a roll come with some kits...

Ok still digging for a set of 4 tires for my Z, originally the Z came with Yoki Advan sport...but these are somehow old now and want to make a change..at first I thought about getting some same Yokis, but problem is; here in Spain there is ONLY one nationwide distributor for these tires Yokohama Planet and that means they ask me for a 4 tires over 989Euros; on the other hand they got some old stocks...left wich I am not risking to try...those are 600euros...but tires from 2007. Now this good old buddy was telling me about why n0t try the Toyos R888 they are great semi slick and drive nice..high performance and here in Spain brand new I can get them for approximately 600…

As above has anyone used them? Are they any good? Thanks

Hi guys, the car just failed on the passenger side upper link having vast amounts of play in it. Ive just had a quick look for them on ebay and europarts (i know its not euro but it said on the back of their van any part for any car :D) and i cant find any basically. All i can find is adjustable things at around £150 a pair. Does anyone know where to get these from? Thanks Mark

Hi there Guys, Just a quickie question, what size spacers will I need with the wheel sizes below? It's on std. suspension at the moment but will be lowered on coilovers in the future. Hi, I have wtare temp, oil pressure and boost gauges.... Boost is simple, red, black, orange, pipe for boost... Oil pressure has same red, black, orange, no probs, but has green for the sender, and another black and red, I pressume the black is another ground and the other red is for the ignition switch, so it lights up, but doesn't show the pressure till engine ignition is fully on? With all the blacks and reds together, the needle shoots all the way to the top, this is without a sender connected, and I know the sender puts a resistance to the gauge, so would the needle be at the bottom with the sender connected? Water temp gauge has red, black, orange, no…

As gorgeous as she is, I have discovered a couple of niggly issues. I seem to have managed to blow both headlight bulbs whilst trying to work out how to put on full beam last night - bit of a worry that there's an underlying electrical fault. Every time I brake, there is a red light that comes on the dash saying "lights". This might be entirely normal for a Z or it could be related to the above issue. Marc checked the fuses for me and they looked ok but we'll change them anyway, and fit new headlight bulbs. Are there generally many electrical issues with a Z? There is a 5p piece size bit of pearl lacquer missing off the roof - so the yellow paint underne…

just wanted to say a quick thanks to zedworld and zcentre a few guys here for your helpfull suggestions recently. just taken my car for a drive no smoking, no leaking and good boosting :D touch wood. just gotta sort out that boost leak cheers
