Yep, that's right I have finally sold her.:sad: chris-e has just picked her up, and I'd like to wish him and his girlfriend all the best with her and a long and happy time together. :punk: Now that I know she has gone I'll be putting some nice choice items up in the For Sale section.

Zedworld!! Finally got round to booking the Zed in to get the missfire checked out. Turns out the 'free' diagnostic offer to members ended some time ago, but Jeff offered me 20mins free of charge, then the normal £30 p/hour after that. pretty excited really, like a little school kid again haha I'll let you all know how me and the zed get on. I'm hoping it wont be an expencive thing to put right, but knowing my luck (owned 2 weeks and already had a new clutch :( ) its gona be a biggy. Fingers crossed! Wish us luck! haha

PICTURE ADDED I have a 91 slicktop. It's a tt Auto. Love the car but really want a manual. I've seen a couple of 2+2's on here that are manual and the right sort of money. Do I sell mine and go down that route? Or do i bite the bullet and do a manual conversion knowing i'll never recoup the outlay? Nothing against the 2+2's but personally i think the shorties are so much better proportioned. What do you reckon guys? Another pic post 26!

Planning on dropping the car a fair bit with coilovers, just wondering will 18x9 et25 be quite a comfortable fitment all round? Anybody running this size on their 300? If it's just a matter of folding up the arch lips that's cool! On a side note, how are 300's for alignment/camber correction when seriously dropped? Thanks, David

Its always a pleasure to find and cure a fault on any zed but when this particular zed started producing a farting sound when pressed in second gear we knew we had to act quickly to save the face of the owner who was getting increasing embarrassed by the sound and worried too. Following a road test where the sound was determined to be on the passenger side of the engine it went on the ramp for further investigation. The noise was harder to produce when on the ramp but it pointed to either a turbo or manifold gasket so off with the battery to get a closer look from above From below the next removal was the near side cat and down pipe …

I'm a little confused as to why my last two threads aren't up? The first was a request to find out if ZXTREME are still trading as I believe that they help out with project builds and mine is getting quite complex, and the second thread is with regards to my RX7 issue Is there something that I should know???

Well, the time has finally come.. I'm contemplating a Subaru Legacy Blitzen Estate which I have found + a few other GT-B's.. I need something which is a little more practical in way of transporting items and persons, whilst still maintaining performance.. I narrowed my choices down to, Vr-4 Galant/Legnum, Nissan Stagea.. and decided on 'the Flying Fridge'... apparently it also can achieve 30mpg which is great.. if true.. So at the moment, i'm just speaking to a few importers and trying to find the right one.. I will be trading my car in... The good news is however.. For you guys I will be selling up all of my items which I have accumulated which are no longer go…

Slowly but surely , engines just about done and i,ve started sorting the corrosion out on the inner wings , once the engine bay is painted gonna get the engine and box back in and running properly before carrying on with the rest of the car , shouldn,t take long !! lol I,m de-seaming the inner wings for that smoooth look . Other sides ready for filling . I,ve done the PCV upgrade from the top rocker covers and a mate who,s an engineer made these joiners so i could connect the new pipe straight to the PCV,s By fook i wish i had a garage !!!:cry:

Was pootering along in 5th hopping up to 100mph then suddenly the surge reduced - slowed down and went into boost in 4th, only boosting to 5-6spsi :chris: No missfire, engine running smooth, not overheating (according to the gauge) - what's the standard checklist?

I have a leaky split rim that needs re-sealing, problem is my car is booked on a stand at cadwell park on sunday and I'm not going to have time to get it done properly. As a temporary measure, would fix-a-flat style tyre sealant work do you think? or would it just make a mess and make the problem worse? thanks for any input guys! :1eye: :boat: :confused1:
