will r33 coilovers fit a zed . the fronts look like a straight swap . the rears bottoms have a single bolt fixing that looks like it bolts into the bottom of the strut . looks like it could be swapped for a forked fitting like on zed rear . anybody got any experience with these as to wether they would fit . would the top plate bolts be the same fit or is there a difference with the spacing. cheers guys andy

Hi i was sent a link to this forum, told you may be able to help. I'm a member of the almera owners club, and have a almera gti with a turbo conversion, using a almera head a pulsar lump. Few months back head cracked due to a tappet failure which also killed the turbo. So has had a rebuild. Long story short, when i went to take the turbo off before the rebuild, intake pipe was stuck on tight. Came off as it did ripped all wires out of the maf. Used this diagram to wire it back in ( see below ) Going off the 95-98 SR20. Anyway mechanic called. Saying it starts but runs like a bag of poop. Majorly over fueling so much that he thinks driving it will cause or co…

Ok, pretty much its that time of year again, and im in portsmouth until the beginning of November, however my MOT runs out on the 19th.. dilema in the fact I need the car down here, but if it runs out of mot I cant take it back up when my block down here is over, well i'll have 7 days to get the work finished obviously I dont want to get a dodgy mot, but a kind tester that can turn a blind eye at smaller things would be a god send... Im not even sure what it might fail on, just I know that it smells of petrol and im worried about my emissions I guess? Does anyone know of a good test station to go to, im willing to travel a bit to get there. Cheers Sk…

Hi there, just got myself my very first Z, a 91' twinturbo, couldn't be happier :) But there is a weird noise when the car is in 2nd and 4th, kind of a blowing noise, seems to be coming from the front of the center console somehow. It's only when the shifter is in these two gears, and the noise only appears from 1500 to 2000 rpm's. Previous owner said something about it might beeing a missing or broken rubber boot or rubber thingy between gearbox and chassi. Anyone know what I mean, or have encountered this themselves? Anyone know where to start looking?

Well with the winter months coming im looking for a decent car cover, not one of these 750 things but a good cover for a respectable price. Its mostly to make sure that the rain etc is kept away from the roof at the targa seals incase anything could seep through in the off-chance, my rubbers dont leak but just an extra precaution. Also to those who use there zeds in the winter take car on the roads as they are becoming more trickier day by day. cheers

I have got some heated seat pads from the bay of E but i cannot get them to work. This is the wiring diagram in the "instructions". Am i correct in putting the 2 12v wires into a + source and the other to earth? I have tried it from the cig lighter and also direct from the battery but they still remain cold. Im not sure if i have done anything wrong but i wanted a second opinion before i send em back.

I've noticed that even when stood still, a lot of heat is coming from the area around the front driver's side wheel arch. All other areas are OK. Any ideas? Is this normal?

i have had a problem with my front drivers side brake over the last few days and had come to the conclusion that it was seizing - stripped and put back together and was ok for about 8 miles and then seized again - have ordered new disks, pads and different caliper - i have striped the passenger side as the easy option and this is the same - the pistons return back lovely/easily but when attached to the car and are pressed out they do not return on their own - just done the manual conversion and trying to retrace steps and only changes are - different balance bar (for clutch servo) - new pipe from brake master to plenum and the new brake pedal - it bothers me that it could…

At end of July i sorned my zed , due to one thing and another, holiday, last few bills and starting the going smooth work on the zed. Every other day i have been starting the zed up, on my drive, nice to hear the rumble. Also continued washing and keeping it clean. But have been putting a bit aside each month. At the weekend. got new tax, first stop a full tank of go go juice, then over to get a price for new sills, remove high level spolier, and skirts and front end. only to be replaced with 99 spec ront and rear, and a blow over. Over to see Atlast and help do his air ducts and a few other bits. She is running 100% spot on, no issues or anything. Still as quick if no…

I just got some chrome coil pack brackets from pete and noticed one is different. Pulled out two coilpacks and noticed they have ma 1 and ma 2 stamped on them. Are they supposed to be in a certain postion? if so how does that work where does 1 , 2 ,3 etc go. Ive had them in and out a number of times and sitting in the boot for months so have lost the original order. Cheers
