Are the front plastic under arch pannels near the intercoolers essential. One of mine was missing already so i took the other out to match. I thought it would be better for the air flow round there, but could be wrong. Are they designed atall to increase air flow to the coolers? Cheers Mark

Hi, Hoping someone can help… Looking (in the future) at getting up-rated coil packs for my TT, I’ve found some by spitfire. Are they the only ones available? Do I need better ones than standard for 300 to 400 Bhp. Cheers.

As it was such a nice day, and I hadn't used the Z for 3 or so weeks, I thought it was time for a day out. We went to Stratford upon Avon for the day and I loved every minute behind the wheel. We didn't have a bad time in Stratford either, but letting the ZX do its stuff was the best bit for me. Well that and lunch!! As usual the car performed faultlessly and didn't miss a beat. It's such a great car to drive - once I get back in after not using it, I realize in seconds why I love the car.... ....so if anyone saw a shiney blue ZX whizzing past everything on the M40 today...... (it wasn't me officer......) Richard:rockon:

.....and you have won a competition to adapt the design. What changes would you make? I thought this could be a fun thread! You're not limited to existing fenders/spoilers/parts etc, you can let your mind run wild. Now let's have no posts saying 'but it's perfect already.' We all know that isn't true. The minute you change an air filter you're adjusting the basic car so we'd all be guilty in that respect. You can do this in paint or photoshop, or just tell us what you'd do. Steal design ideas from another car? Make your own? If it was up to me (using this pic as an example); - I'd smooth the join just above the petrol cap cover - Smooth th…

I was watching the re-run of this Fridays Fifth Gear this morning and thought hang on, that car looks familiar!! It was the former Stig - Ben Collins in the Paul Marston drag car!! Then I watched it a bit more and thought hang on, that car looks familiar!! It was my Z!! Well, a reflection of it when he jumped in the queue and then a blurred shot of it for about launch! (see if you can spot it I'm behind a GTR!!) So that's who was behind me in this video - You can see Paul Marston walking down the track, The Stig in the car and then the film crew!! You have to look really hard but I'm there lol!! http://fwd.five.tv/fifth-gear/videos/f…

Was thinking if getting these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ring-H1-130w-RALLY-SPORT-Xenon-Headlight-Bulbs-2-Pack-/330430265202?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cef2db772 Do you think my electrics would cope with the wattage. I would be useing them for my Hi Beam so there obvious only going to be on a min at a time etc.

Hi everyone, I ran with 15psi last year and blew my piston apart, next year I am hoping to get it back upto 15psi. But not before making sure the car can take it safely. What exactly should I be doing and getting fitted? Sorry guys I admit I am no mechanic and have very limited knowledge of engines... Thanks for the help :-) Dan

I have a issue, was driving the car this morning and noticed that the brake light was still on on the dash, so pulled over and checked the hand brake but it had released all the way to the bottom of its travel. also check the fluid level in the engine bay and that was half way between full and empty. Now i cant remember seeing a ABS sensor or anything, so do we have them? take it its time to change the pads?

Hi All, Got (hopefully) a simple problem with a car im looking at buying - theres a little bit of wheel shake when braking, which is making me a little hesitant. Looking round the car i see it has recent new front pads (EBC redstuff) and new rotors, drilled and grooved, but the backs are still stock. I also noticed the wheels didnt have any balancing weights on them. Just wondering if anyone has much experience of this? The seller says the car hasnt been driven that much lately so is it possible this is just scrubbing off a top layer of rust on the rotors? I'm going to get the wheels rebalanced and probably realigned, but just wondered if theres anything e…

I've recently had my MeisterR coilovers and adjustable arms fitted by Mark. As always a fantastic service all round. His knowledge, advice and work are all fantastic. If you live in our region he really is the 'go to' guy if you own a Zed. He has also completed a full alignment and set-up for me and it has transformed the car. Handles superbly and turns in really well which is what I was after. Thanks again mate. Top job and top bloke too.:cool3:

most of my mates in my silly little town has hondas, mainly accord type R's my brother in law who has a civic told me last thing last night that the club meet on saturday (today) was low on numbers and asked if wanted to join them on a dyno run day, i accepted and left 7am this morning, anyway, at this honda meet there some awsome examples, but none got to the 300bhp mark so i felt pretty smug, mine went on last and it made 297hp and 301, torque bearing in mind it has no performance mods at all exept for back boxe (still has original cats) even standard air box, its pretty good isnt it? i was worried a few gee gee's might of escaped over the last 21 years? …
