Hi all , ive just bought my second 300zx but my first tt, i have a few issues nothing major i hope, its a jap import and after driving mostly harshly, after when parked it starts to smoke like no tomorrow. i know its a definite oil leak and most likely from the rocker cover. not too sure if there is a leak from anywhere else havent checked from underneath. i've read something about plenum and haven't a clue what it is? help..... :surrender: i did turn the boost controller up to 40 and driven the car but its hasn't really given much issue with the smoke? ,i dont know how to use the boost con yet setting wise manual is in dam Japanese and air controller..... dont know …

I know I'm asking for trouble but here goes... ...when the 370Z was first announced, I was absolutely delighted. The photos looked great and early reports suggested that it was great to drive and far superior to the 350 in every way. Having now seen a couple on the road (only a couple compared to hundreds of 350s...) and also read the latest reviews, the picture doesn't seem quite as rosy. Many have commented how the last incarnation of the 350 is better to drive, more agile and more refined, where as the 370 has been criticised by the majority as very noisy, and not as exciting as the 350. As for looks, I must admit that I was rather underwhelmed. Ver…

hi, i installed my short shift gear stick at the same time as a manual conversion so probably not the best idea as i do not have anything to compare it with - this was a couple of weeks ago and it still seems very awkward and "notchy"/ clunky - i am convinced it rattels and vibrates as well - is this normal or could there be a different fault looming dave

Checked the windscreen washer reservoir today and to my astonishment found the water to be black and small bits of goey stuff floating about. It was a nice clear blue only 2 weeks ago and has been fine for the last year. Any ideas?

Thought id share this, as i think this looks the dogs to be perfectly honest and love how they have done the wide arch look, its the Abflug Curve BEET 300ZX kit. i have to say that has to be in my own opinion the sexiest looking body kit I've seen in ages.

Silver Zed parked on the side of the road. I think it was Balham High Road. Silver with dark coloured alloys and an 89 spec TT front bumper.

Hi all, ive been looking for some new alloys or second hand ones for nearly a month now and they are a few about i like they are 17 x 8 with a 35 offset and a 18 x 8.5 with a 30 offset. Which would look best and sit best on the car? cheers James

Am i losing it? or do other people have this too. Your driving along, you come across a nice car, say Audi, Golf GTI ect, and the moment they spot your car, they start driving like they want a race? now don't get me wrong, id love to oblige, after all i have just got it. and its really tempting to give it a bit to show um. but no point in getting a car just to wrap it around a tree / post / garden fence / police car.. Just seems every one wants to try and race me now lol

as the title suggests. mine struggles to do 30mph in 3rd, think it sits at about 2000 rpm and it struggles without stuttering. thinking on it seems to stutter at any steady speed realy. feels ok accelerating though.

Found this on the German ebay, and I might be wrong, but I can´t really see the bids on this going very high as it´s primarily in MPH, which is no good in Germany. http://cgi.ebay.de/Nissan-300ZX-TwinTurbo-Tacho-320Kmh-/220679410048?pt=Autoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item3361849180 Maybe of interest to somebody, and although they haven´t specified that they would mail it outside of Germany I can ask the guy if anyone is interested. :)

My insurance company want me to produce a alarm install certificate so I'm covered for theft. they will only cover it for theft if i have the certificate to say it was installed by a qualified fitter. now I've been through all the paper work i have but i have no install certificate. As its a Clifford alarm can i take it to a Clifford alarm certified engineer and get him to give it a once over to make sure its installed correctly and get a new one? Don't really like the idea of not being insured for theft.
