Any ideas if it's possible to get a rim with a PCD of (120) fit a Z32 (114.3)?

  2. Started by jap.slapper,

Any ideas why somebody would opt for a section of wire mesh jubilee clipped onto the turbo intake as opposed to a regular cone filter, surely this wouldn't provide anywhere near adequate filtration? What are the pro's and con's of this set up?

Well had the car a week now and so far done a lot of stuff too her. Had the car on the ramps earlier and as much as i loved the sound of the single exit, my mind was made up that it needed to change. not because i think duel look better (which they do) but because it had a blooming hole in it. Well So far since owning her this is whats been changed. - UK rear seat belts now installed from my black one. - LED side pods installed. - Passenger side window switch changed over as the one it originally had in was lifting - Rear 99spec mod done (although now needs redoing as the damn pin stripe is lifting just like i said it would lol) - Passenger side wi…

I have my eye on a set of wheels which are not the norm. I've had a chat with Pete and James (Jaffa) and we feel it will be OK but I would be happier if anyone has any experience with these sizes. I am considering going with 18 x 9J +25 offset on the front and 18 x 10J +35 offset on the rear. I expect to do some arch rolling but don't really want to do any cutting of liners etc. As well, I expect the 9" to turn in a bit quicker which is great on a LWB but not quite sure if that's a positive thing on a SWB. Best tyre sizes to suit would help too :)

gotta say jeftt is a top bloke just got back with the zed running a whole lot better than when i went up there this morning, turns out i had a huge boost leak on one of the turbo pipes (the bottom rubber one with the corregated section in) turns out the garage who did the turbos for the previous owner never got it on quite right so the one edge of the pipe was sat ontop of the flangle, and managed to put a whol in the pipe as well whilst trying to get it on, slight leak on the pcv's to so thats now all sorted, also got the dreaded timing belt 1 tooth out so timed it to where it should be but it's on max adjustment on the cas so thats another job but not till next year whe…

Are the front plastic under arch pannels near the intercoolers essential. One of mine was missing already so i took the other out to match. I thought it would be better for the air flow round there, but could be wrong. Are they designed atall to increase air flow to the coolers? Cheers Mark

Hi, Hoping someone can help… Looking (in the future) at getting up-rated coil packs for my TT, I’ve found some by spitfire. Are they the only ones available? Do I need better ones than standard for 300 to 400 Bhp. Cheers.

As it was such a nice day, and I hadn't used the Z for 3 or so weeks, I thought it was time for a day out. We went to Stratford upon Avon for the day and I loved every minute behind the wheel. We didn't have a bad time in Stratford either, but letting the ZX do its stuff was the best bit for me. Well that and lunch!! As usual the car performed faultlessly and didn't miss a beat. It's such a great car to drive - once I get back in after not using it, I realize in seconds why I love the car.... ....so if anyone saw a shiney blue ZX whizzing past everything on the M40 today...... (it wasn't me officer......) Richard:rockon:

  16. .....and you have won a competition to adapt the design. What changes would you make? I thought this could be a fun thread! You're not limited to existing fenders/spoilers/parts etc, you can let your mind run wild. Now let's have no posts saying 'but it's perfect already.' We all know that isn't true. The minute you change an air filter you're adjusting the basic car so we'd all be guilty in that respect. You can do this in paint or photoshop, or just tell us what you'd do. Steal design ideas from another car? Make your own? If it was up to me (using this pic as an example); - I'd smooth the join just above the petrol cap cover - Smooth th…

  24. I was watching the re-run of this Fridays Fifth Gear this morning and thought hang on, that car looks familiar!! It was the former Stig - Ben Collins in the Paul Marston drag car!! Then I watched it a bit more and thought hang on, that car looks familiar!! It was my Z!! Well, a reflection of it when he jumped in the queue and then a blurred shot of it for about launch! (see if you can spot it I'm behind a GTR!!) So that's who was behind me in this video - You can see Paul Marston walking down the track, The Stig in the car and then the film crew!!
