hi has anyone any experience with abs plastic and perspex.car.mad:wink: im gonna give making some eye-lids a shot. also quite fance moulding perspex for som other stuff but id imagine it be the same tec. any help or advice would be good

Having a trauma with my brakes.... Overhauled all my calipers, and let the fluid just seep out, as I intended to flush all the fluid out and replace with fresh. I can't seem to be able to bleed them, any tips? Starting at the furthest away (passenger rear) and no air is coming out, have tried a one way valve bleeder thingy, but still nothing is coming out, even with a piece of pipe in some brake fluid, and no bubbles at all are coming out, any suggestions or tips?

hi, I recently replaced the pas pump on my 91 import 300zx tt as the old one was making some strange noises. But what i want to know is what do I do with the old one.... Can it be repaired and be of any use to anyone? or should I just get it gone and weigh it in? jay

After extensive research, i have found out that its not lacquer peel happening on my car, it is in fact clear coat that is coming away, the underlying paint is in rather good condition, so i was just wondering if anyone knows where to get the clear coat paint from? as it would be much easier to sort out if it is. Plus i can do a write up of the process. as its only a small area that needs to be sorted out. 1200grit around the edges that are starting to lift away from the paint surface. then the clear coat should be able to get a good blend while using the under laying color to keep everything matching.

Hi my car is taxed and insured but mot ran out in may, so ive kept the car in my garage and only drove it on my drive. Last week the garage and my barn attached to it were set on fire by arsonists. barn gone garage gone car gone. hey iv just went and bought a Double Opening Headlight Panel for the zed is theyr any prcations to take with fitting these..i.e the air filter sits under this part.is theyr a chance of a lot of water going in the slots?

Only got the Zed on Saturday and already its playing up! When I'm starting it from cold it takes up to 20 mins to get it to eventually start. It's coughs and rocks about As if its trying to fire and its smells really strongly of fuel whilst trying 2 start. Does the 300 have a cold start mechanism? The car runs sweet when its started and warm and starts straight away again when its been off for a short amount of time. I'm confused.com, had to insure my old celica again to get to work this morning :/ Any ideas on where I should be checking 1st?

Richard, what on earth has been done to this Zed? was doing 60 on the M1 this morning on the way to work put my foot down to overtake a lorry and wheel span even in 5th? Its seriously fast, going to have to take it easy i think, felt like the back end was going to step out due to the acceleration, ok didnt help because it was light drizzle but still. Anyway lunch lol

Has anyone ever sucessfully dyed their original fairlady mats? I've got the early original dirty grey coloured ones and whilst I like the feel and quality of them I dont really like the colour and I was wondering if it would be possible to dye them to a darker colour like the later version in this eBay Link.

Basically I have found a company that supply a spoiler I want, but they won't ship internationally - so is there anybody based in the US who I could send it to then it could be shipped to me in the UK?

I'm sure when I first started coming on here a few years ago there was a thread that had a list of free improvements like removing things that weren't necessary etc - where has it gone? Or am I thinking of another site? - if so can someone point me in the right direction lol.

What would be the normal repair for this? Clean up as much as possible treat and paint? Would you put a skim of filler over the the turret mount patch just to smooth it out? Thanks for looking, James

The Metal strip that separates the targas. cant seem to figure out how to get a tool in to the torx screws that run down it.

After some serious beginning teething troubles, my car went for a short stint with zed world. Now its back its a totally different car. i dont know if im the first to ask this but my rev counter is going nuts one minute it works then it does then it goes bonkers with needle darting all over the place has this happened to anyone else or is it just me lol
