Mud in the windscreen washer bottle

Checked the windscreen washer reservoir today and to my astonishment found the water to be black and small bits of goey stuff floating about.

 

It was a nice clear blue only 2 weeks ago and has been fine for the last year.

 

Any ideas?

    There's an overflow hole that's probably had rubbish off the road thrown at it with it being under the wing? You could stick some mesh over the hole which would hopefully sort the problem out? Other than that it could be sludge in the rad/engine being thrown out the filler cap?
