I,m going to be fitting a new black perspex tailgate trim with the brake light in , now i prefer like the look of a led brake light compared to the crappy four bulb Nissan one which when lit looks patchy cos of the bulb arrangment. I got a damaged led one off a Merc and removed the rest of the broken red lens Tried it against the remains of my old trim to see if it could be fitted and it looks like it,ll fit with alot of trimming The tailgate trim has two mounting bolts where the light is so i wanted to keep these intact so i removed everything around them and the red lens that,s inside the trim , a bit of fettling with a belt sander and in it went …

It was the last bit of welding i needed to do , i fitted this a few years back but had to remove a fair bit of the lamp panels to do so But i want to go back to the standard style so using some cut off a scrapper i had to make good what i,d hacked off previously :blushing: So after a bit of trimming and fettling i got the new ones welded in I,m fitting the crystal lights from America and a few,s mentioned that they don,t fit quite right They curve more than a standard light so if they line up at each end the middle sticks out too far !! the only way to make it look right was to build out the rear panel a bit in these areas . This is before . …

Where the bumper mounts to the wing the studs have snapped...1 was already snapped by someone else and now I've done one each side so there's only 1 stud to put it back on with now. :whistling: I can't be the only person for this to happen to.....what's the recommended fix for holding the bumper on when this happens? Also, the brackets at each end of the wing look flimsy and are rusting - is there any need for them? I've removed the stock intake ducting and cant see anything else that they hold on?? Thanks in advance, James

Today the 300 would not start again!!!! This is the second time in a few weeks. Basically this car starts on the button everytime but now twice the car just turns over and will not fire, strong smell of fuel (not leaking) more like it floods instantly. After a few minutes of turning over she fires into life with a ploom of unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust. Any ideas ? PS non turbo SWB manual. Thaks Dave

Guys I'm after a replacement dial kit. It needs to be White during the day, and blue/green when the lights are turned on. These are usually Plasma kits and Visual performance do a selection. However, the detail on them is to much, you know..less is more.. i used to have them on my MR2 but the company that did them http://www.speedhut.com dont do 300zx ones. If you look at the site you'll see what i mean about white/blue etc. you can even design them online.. Lockwood do plasma dial kits, but not 300zx ones. so does anyone know of a supplier of dials that might do the trick.. Rich

I'm currently in the pit under the car typing this on my iPhone trying to fit the altenator wiring harnis, on the back of the altenator there is a 2 pin plug and a lug to attatch a ring wire. However the harnis seems to have to 'ring end' wires on it which wire goes to the lug on the back of the altenator? Why are there two? Do they both go to the lug? On is slightly larger than the other I know it's late but any help asap or a diagram would be great thanks

I have been told that the reason behind my steering wheel judder at 60mph is brake pad imprint on the rear face of the nearside front disc. These discs have only been on for about 500 miles so you can imagine I am not to impressed. I have had a look on the K-sport site and they don't seem to sell the discs seperatly but recommend using AP racing discs. Has anyone on here had to replace their k-sport discs and if so where did you get them from?! Cheers in advance, Dave

I'm in the middle of removing my plenum. My car has had the solenoid disconnected from the EGR valve as it was faulty and causing poor running. Can I blank off the two holes in the underside of the plenum where the EGR pipes join it and leave everything else as it is? Any help appreciated
