Finally got round to doing a wheel alignment today, Its not been right since the rebuild & it is driving just sooooooooooo good now I have set it all up again! :sorcerer: The rear wheels had slightly too much offset for my liking, have given the rear a bit more negative camber to tuck them in nicely - just gone out of spec but will be monitoring wear :detective: What have people tried running on the rear?? Pics of the zed on my new alignment machine at work - does away with measuring heads for targets with 4 HD camera's to check the angles: Heres the cameras on the mount - naughty techs in the workshop get crucified here :devil2: C…

was over at zhoodyx's today checking out some things on the engine and just as I was about to go home I started her up and pop goes the main 30 amp fuse, traced the fault to a bad solder joint jagging through some electrical tape so that was easy fixed but I can't seem to get any local places to sell these. The fuse I'm after is the green 30 amp type from the left side fuse box. Anyone got a handful of spares from a breaker I could have or direct us to a good online store. I've nabbed the fuse from the windows to get her going again so now my windows don't work. Cheers Lee

not sure where to start on this had a search but still not any wiser just pulled the zed out of winter storage and took it for a drive and the steering feels a touch strange, syptoms are steering feels stiff when turning sometimes to left sometimes to right but its like it's lumpy in movement (car was ok when parked up for winter) and when coming out of a corner it self straightens most of the way and i need to pull it the final bit, also felt like a little oversteer a couple of times, the speedo is showing a constant speed, fluid is topped up and ok,no puddles of fluid anywhere and no hicas light (but this may have bulb removed) and also checked tyre pressures it maybe s…

After finally scraping the money together to get the old girl taxed, I gave the Z a quick wash and headed out in the sun with the targas off, only to get to the end of the road and.... CAN'T STOP - NO BRAKES!! Nothing whatsoever, pedal drops to the floor. Luckily, the handbrake is spot on ;) So, I have no problems with the clutch, there is good fluid in the reservoir, but the pedal drops like a tarts knickers. The car has been stood (outside, on a slight incline) since the end of January, but there's no sign of any fluids on the drive. I've sat and pumped the pedal but there's no change at all. Any ideas where to start looking? Ta :(

Just took some pictures of the new bits ive applied to the Z over the last couple of days. Fog light ducts, sprayed the same colour as standard mid section and made my own small mounts with weather proof L.E.D side lights hidden inside. Ducts (where courtesy of CAR.MAD and are top quality.) Rear light from Big Jim, clear indicator section. Removed the orange section in front bumper indicator housing. Wrapped the rear blind holder and rear side panels.

hi all got a little issue with smoking on the zed, it started off if the car was left ticking over for around 10 mins it would start to smoke through the drivers exhaust, when i had the car at zedworld back in october jeff suggested replacing pcv valves as that was prob the cause (and the passenger pcv valve was pretty oiled up at the time) so anyway i have now replaced the pcv valves and hoses but i have noticed after a very short run (4 miles to work) the drivers side is smoking quite heavilly on tickover (which it never did before), i know it takes 500ish miles to clear oily residue from replacing pcv's and turbos were done 8000 miles ago by previous owner could there …

It is noticeable in some instances that sig pics have increased in size and in some cases ( you know who you are :tt2:) take up most of a post. I know you want to show off your pride and joy, but thats why we have a rides section. Could those with extra large sig pics please reduce them down a bit in size. It can distract from what is written in a post as well as page opening time for those with slower machines. Many thanks for your co-operation. Graham

Hi guys Can someone advise where the 'filler' is on an auto box ? My gearbox isn't picking up well or changing particularly smoothly so I think the first job is an oil change. I'm guessing the drain plug is fairly obvious once I'm under the car ? Thanks Mark

Got my mot in a couple of hours and just realised the horn isn't working! It worked fine before the car was off the road :gun_bandana: the horn relay itself doesn't click, I've checked the engine bay 10a horn fuse and it's fine. Is there one in the kick panel which is related? The wires are all on the horns fine. cheers David

Hi All, Does anyone know somebody who can travel to Gainsborough area to do some work on my Z. It needs the following after being sat all winter: · New discs and pads · Oil change and filter · Battery fitting · Coil adaptors renewing · Spark plugs · Full MOT preparation · Front and rear strut braces fitted · New Alloys fitted (18’s wohoo) · Anything else I can think of along the way!. It’s all a bit rusty around the wheels so may need some scaffold poles on the end of the spanners! Payment will be in cash agreed beforehand and adjusted accordingly as the job goes on and new work emerges. I need it doing in the next few weeks and at…
