I think i badly need a new osr arch. there was a bit of bubbling coming through it and i took it to alocal shop to have it looked at. he said hed cover it up for £200. sounded great, but there is bubbles appearing already, (5 days after picking it up). He said there was lots of filler and rust there already and id really need a new arch. i saw that there used to be some repair panels that are no longer available is this correct? if so how the :censored: do i get an arch?

Just a hypothetical Question really if i was to do a project from scratch on one of these cars surely an import would be a much better starting block than a uk car? with their weather climate and all, the cars seem? to be in much better bodywork condition than the uk cars which have had to take the full brunt of our terrible weather for twenty years when i bought mine i was shocked at well no rust at all on it.

How do I remove the above? I need to get the door panel off to sort out an intermitant window fault but the said trim has to come of 1st, it un clips at the bottom where it meets the the main panel but i'm stuffed if I can get the top part out. (The seat belts are on the pillar not the door) Thanks for looking Steve

Having looked at quite afew 300s on here the rear rubber looks big,im aware most prob have 18" alloys ive got BK 905 Alloys 17" running 255 40 17 how wide can i go cant see width figure on alloy.

Do i need to unbolt the prop thurther back to get it to fit in the back of the gearbox .I only undone the centre 2 17mm bolts to get it out but it was a struggle to pull out of box its a swb thanks.

Done an ECU check for fault codes today, and having cleared any old ones and taken the car for a spin it's thrown up code 14 (which was showing before I reset the ECU). Now I know it's the speed sensor circuit, but what do I need to be looking at to fix it?

don't really know much or anything about a zeds suspension, all i know is a few days before my zed died last year it started knocking as it went round any left hand corner, noise can from the front left, id imagine its the brushes would these work? or could it be something else? and how easy are they to change? its that and the front of my exhaust (i have no downpipes at the mo lol) that's stopping it being road worthy i think, (and the lack of a working engine but that's another story.)

is it as simple as just unscrew them and fit new ones, three garages round here say its too difficult, and dont really have the time for the 250 mile round trip to Zworld....

aqm looking to buy A set of 18" wheels , and i just cant seem to find what i am looking for , ideally i want 5 spokes with a deep dish but there not much out there , i would prefer 2nd hand to save some pennies !! can someone advise me on what other car makes will fit ? and whats the pcd and offset i need ? so far i have just been on websites and done it by make and model !!

i was thinking when i eventually do my tt conversion is there a known smaller aircon rad that could replace the tt one ?

Well after my mate took me out in his 400bhp+ 200sx earlier, it made me realise I really must get turbo power back!!!! :blushing: His car is fappin' quick and I was rather jealous lol... so I got home at 5:30 and straight away got the tools out and started off removing the engine from my white breaker. Only had a couple of hours on it before it started getting dark, but already making noticable progress (for me) :sweatdrop: can only jump on it when I get a spare few hours unlike some of you slackers :) but plan to have the TT engine removed by the end of the week and bolted to its new gearbox and get a few more goodies fitted. Hey Guys, Currently not sure if its my zed or not however when i go for a ride, its a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride (feels like thrown around in a cage:sweatdrop:). So maybe it might be my suspension etc as i think i still have the stock suspension. So wanted to ask you guys out there how would you rate the zed for comfort. So what would you rate ur zedout of 10 so 10 being really comfortable and 1 being horrid. Would be nice to hear some opinions on people who have been in other sports car such as m3's or similiar low cars to see how the zed compares. I been in a Lambo lp630 and that was very comfortable but not we cant compare that can we :P …

this may sound daft but i've got a spare passenger seat (manual type) in good condition, as my driver seat is starting to look a bit sad is it possable to switch covers? my drivers seat is electric cheers

what is considered good results for a 92 twin turbo? I was hoping to tweek my boost slightly up to around 10psi, car has a decat stainless sytem, mines ecu and induction kit, i should hopefully have my results later today... Cheers dan

I understand the TT has forged bottomend parts?if correct,does the N/a have the same?Are the heads the same on both or is this where they lowered the comp on the turbo and what is the comp ratio on a TT btw?cheers

hi guys can wrong plugs (bosh) bring up code 34? also plugs have been in for less than 1000 miles and are black so its over fueling and has bad running when cold! will this all be caused by det sensor? or will wrong plugs cause same faults? im changing to ngk plugs as we speak! also my phone wont let me use the search function so could someone put a link up for det sensor link or a picture where it is!!! thanks its a tt manual with no mods other than air filter and back box's and is a 1992

Can someone tell me the following for a UK TT 1992 model: Engine oil capacity Gearbox oil capacity Power steering fluid capacity Brake fluid capacity I am renewing all these. I know that I could just fill them until full but I don’t want to be backwards and forwards to the shop every time I run out!. Cheers.
