Hi i have had my zed for a week now and when i bought it i had a fair bit of smoke on idle however i was given PCV's with the car which i changed and gave me a reduction in smoke on idle, i changed these roughly 250 miles ago but i still have some smoke on idle (from O/S exhaust) BUT when i leave the air con on auto there is no smoke? there is also no smoke on slow driving nor on fast driving????? also the idle is a bit all over the place some times its at 1100 then 1500 them some times 2000 and with air con off it varies from 900 to 1200 rpm its really confusing me???? any help be good?? only smokes when idle is at 900 rpm! and only from the drivers side exhaust.

this isnt a for sale just wondering what you think been looking on piston head and theres a couple of n/a's for sale in worse condition than mine with higher milage is 2500 too much for a decent n/a everythings in good working order bar some vibration(with ill be mentioning)and the sterring wheel and 1 headrest is a bit worn 90000miles

Hi, right the car has remote central locking, so did'nt realise when i bought it but the key starts the car but wont open any doors or boot, should I take it I only got the spare, can you get the original fron nissan or not? its a uk car. Cheers Mark

right i got a wee problem with vibration from the middle to back of the car..i took some advice from a local mecanic..i said to him i thought id might be the center prop bearing after reading a few other similar topics..anyhoo he told me to drive to the speed the vibration happens the knock it into nuetrall and see if it still happens if it stops then its not the bearing.. tryed this today and the vibs never stoped.. everything seams to be in order with the rear end tyres good allignment/balencing good..bushes are ok and everythings tightend up what do you think?

put a battery on it and a half turn is all it took to start!,been stood outside over the winter,hasnt been running for around 6months...Ive promised myself now to get it done up for the summer!lolThis year for sure. The tyres were flat on two rims,and wouldnt take air 'cos theyd come off the bead,had to remove them to re-seat them,so while i was at it,i tried on some wheels to see what look im going for.The chrome Workmeisters are 19x10,the gold Rays are 18x10,ofcourse its on a woodenblock so you have to 'squint ' to imagine what itll be like dropped to the ground on coilovers!:hammer:

Finally now spending some decent money on my ZTT, started by ripping off the bumper and one of the wings to be sorted and clean up and install new BOV's, then ended up with a nice suprise i did not know about!:

so whats the deal what are the ones from japspeed like.. apart from out of stock lol. thinking about changing the thermostat aswel. been getting a little toatsy that engine.

been sorting the garage out, had loads of engine bits all over my shelves so came up with the great idea that it would save space if I rebuilt my 2nd spare engine into a complete unit :clap: so now I have 2x TT lumps in the garage and also still the one in the white zed, and an NA lump in the black one which is coming out soon :wacko: and no, none of them are for sale :tt2:

i have a really nice set of axis 19" rims, but the polished bit is scabby where i brillo paded it with some ajax before a cruise one night as i was late, this was about 3 years ago they now look skanky as anything so would sandblasting them and then priming and painting be the best way to get them looking really nice? there isnt much kerbing so painting is good enough, also could i get away with all this leaving the tires on? I would like to pose this question.. when you get a dying or spark plug going bad plug in a ZTT, what symptoms are you likely to get? something is not quite right....anyone had running probs that was cured by new plugs?:helpsmilie:
