Hi all, wifey has herself a lovely little red fto, that has three oil leeks according to the garage. 1. The rocker cover gasket, 2&3 are the cam seals. Is there anyone that could advise me if we can attempt this at home here in Crawley, only labour costs are going through the roof at the mo. cheers all!!!:wink:

Saw you yesterday about 6pm just off the M4 driving past Buckley Barracks. Was in my mates Vectra about 3 cars back.

It is noticeable in some instances that sig pics have increased in size and in some cases ( you know who you are :tt2:) take up most of a post. I know you want to show off your pride and joy, but thats why we have a rides section. Could those with extra large sig pics please reduce them down a bit in size. It can distract from what is written in a post as well as page opening time for those with slower machines. Many thanks for your co-operation. Graham

Hi guys Can someone advise where the 'filler' is on an auto box ? My gearbox isn't picking up well or changing particularly smoothly so I think the first job is an oil change. I'm guessing the drain plug is fairly obvious once I'm under the car ? Thanks Mark

right i had a problem yesterday when my zed was started from cold over night where it would not run boost or drive at all really. anyway i found a boost leek on the boost gauge which i sorted and the zed seemed to be going fine and was also fine when left for 6 hours or so which like a fool i thought i fixed my zed, however i started my zed this morning and i had same problem as day before! so back to square one! anybody know what controls the cold start idle? or what could be the problem. its a tt z32 with i belive a serious 2 ptu upgrade thanks dave

Got my mot in a couple of hours and just realised the horn isn't working! It worked fine before the car was off the road :gun_bandana: the horn relay itself doesn't click, I've checked the engine bay 10a horn fuse and it's fine. Is there one in the kick panel which is related? The wires are all on the horns fine. cheers David

It needs the following after being sat all winter: · New discs and pads · Oil change and filter · Battery fitting · Coil adaptors renewing · Spark plugs · Full MOT preparation · Front and rear strut braces fitted · New Alloys fitted (18’s wohoo) · Anything else I can think of along the way!. Got them with my last Z, they are new. Are they the turbo oil return pipes that usually go or something? :wacko:

Does anybody know anything about these? Have google'd it but cant find much info. Basically, my breaker has one, and im wondering if i can use it on my car. I dont know what its meant to run with tho. Turbos, injectors etc I assume nismo 555cc injectors, as thats whats on the car, but what else? Cheers

i was looking at removing the stndard water temop gauge from the cluster and fitting an aftermarkrt(more reliable one) i take it this is simply a case of removing the cluster popping the old one out and popping the new one in and using teh existing cables? does anyone produce a combined oil and water temp? seems a good idea. im guessing taht would require a sandwatch plate and sender tho? final question what exactly should i be looking for gauges wise? any spefic types to look for i want to keep teh look fairly stock and dont want to brake the bank

been spraying my new spoiler and was quite happy with the result but being fussy i thought it could do with one last coat of laqour the previus coat had been on there since monday. now the new coat has hazed :( can i get back from this or am i screwed?

Hi, anybody out there able to tell me what size , type and thread . brake line fittings will be needed when i change the corroded hard pipes on my 93 tt 300 ZX ???? also will it be the 3/16" brake line i should be using ( i know its advised to use Cunifer) thanks Neil

Well this morning i drove my 300 zx and it was messing about loads! no boost, wouldn't idle, wouldn't rev, wouldn't drive slow or fast!! i got it to my garage and couldn't see anything wrong however i had a slight leek from the boost gauge pipes and one had collapsed so i try to change the pipe however as soon as i pulled the pipe of the valve the valve snapped (Drivers side wing under windscreen) i have now blanked this pipe off and the car seems to be running ok would this small valve cause all these problems? or is it where it was cold and there is something else i need to check? also what oil should be in the car? it has 15 40 as that is what autodata recommended…

need to replace some badly corroded brake lines, does anybody have a set of brake pipe bending pliers that i could beg borrow or steel, ( i have a decent flaring kit allready) thanks Neil
