I´m thinking about starting my own collection of sports cars...Lamborghini murcielago, Nissan...mercedes...honda..ferrari.. looking around the net there is Autoart but wayy toooo expensive..thye have 1:18 die cast model of the murcielago for $1,600!! that´s ridiculous..eventhough they weight 5kg..does anyone knows of other websites where they got them cheaper with 1:18 and 2kg at least?? this also brings me up the doubt about our Z where never made on die cast 2kg models?

My breaker have a few electrical toys on it. BLITZ SBC-id boost controller BLITZ SBC-id power meter Apexi AFC air fuel piggy back computer Apexi EGT gauges with probes tapped into turbocharger downpipes I did want to put them on my car, but i think i just going to do the normal to get it close to 400bhp, and leave it there. I want to sell these parts, or even have them off the breaker and put to one side in case i do want to fit them to my car, the boost controller mainly. I dont have the first idea of how to get them off the car! Ive got all the wires down to the ECU, but where it goes through to the engine bay, i'm lost.. What im afte…

Is the PS cooler really needed, or is it another Nissan over engineering thing? My one is basically a pile of rust, so I was thinking about deleting it and then joining the two little pipes on the PAS pot together. Would this be ok? I've already ditched the HICAS so the PS fluid is only working the steering.

For weeks now, ive been looking at the zed, all neglected, un loved and un driven. Mot is out, and tax. Today so far with no girlfriend around, and no kids, i got cracking. To start, i needed to establish the extent of the rust. SO angle grinder in hand, off it comes. stretches from the rear drivers arch to nearly half way to the door. A couple of hours later, and ive removed whats needed. I had spare inner and return sills, thanks to a member on here. Once these were fitted, its time to tackle the outer. I got some 1mm zintek sheet from a local metal guy for nothing. As i cant source outer sills, i made my own and did the fabrication. Only trouble was getting the…

My Z has started making a clicking noise when turning round left corners, had a look under it and all I can see that could be the problem is the R/H steering rod, the inner boot is split and grease dripping out of it. Could this be related to the clicking noise? :sweatdrop:

Am not a experienced person in bodywork, but i dont mind giving things a try after all it is the only way to learn. Have spent hours filling and blending side skirts in, but when painted i look at it and just say 'ERRM NOOO' its still not how i would like it to be. Doesnt look bad, but no. Dont want to put car in a bodyshop as that would defeat the whole purpose of what im doing. But would like some help (not to do the work) but more to just in situ and give advise on where it goes wrong. So am thinking more like a little get together hands on type day( also stripping everything out of engine bay) and with a bbq for dinner and a laugh to maybe get the bodywork …

Anyone got one of these fitted? eBay Link Or can anyone recommend a better product/price? Not looking for anything special/too expensive really as mine seemed to run at the right temperature with the standard rad but it has started weeping a bit from one of the bottom corners where the rows join the end tanks and I'm about to up the boost :) Thanks in advance, James

just a quick one really been trying to work it out and trying diffent things but no luck yet. ill give you the basic story, my old engine let go at about 90,000 so saved up and done the engine swap with some turbos from a friend that had no play in the spindles at all, one was a little tighter then the other tho(near side). finaly got it running at the start of the week on the ramp all run up fine no smoke no rattles, changed the oil and filter after i ran it up just to be sure. then iv taken it to get moted all was fine till i got there about 8miles away and it started to smoke quite alot on idle (white smoke),after it was left to go cold it was moted and was fine no smo…

Having put semi new pads on the front, im now getting a lot of brake squeal under light to medium braking. Also when im driving along and give it a bit, i get a nice exhaust spell in the cabin, regardless of if i have the roof off or on, or windows open or closed, any idea why this could be? exhaust isnt blowing near the elbows from what i can tell.
