Hi I been involved in accident and my zx wing been damaged, been pushed in to the engine and want to make strut bar but I need right dimensions of the car what gab it's between suspensions tops. So does anyone living around East London and will be nice to let me take dimensions of somebodies 300zx? I decide to make by myself because I can't find to by buy strong front strut bar. I found some but they was from America and was costing more than £200. So I will weld custom strut bar that will be much stronger. Please somebody who don't mind to let me look at yours 300zx to get right dimensions. Or maybe somebody all ready know dimensions of front strut bar ??

Hi all! I said hello to you all sunday evening. Thank you for the warm welcome! Sorry about this thread, and although it may be covered elsewhere i just want to run it by you and see what you all think. I hope you dont mind. I bought my z on friday, she has a high idle problem. She is ticking over at 2000 rpm. I believe it is the idle air control valve because....... we unplugged it today and the revs dropped to around 800 and stopped there and stayed steady. We then plugged it back in and they shot back up to around the 2000 mark. We have taken it off cleaned it put it back on and the problem still remains! Obviously due to the high idle selecting drive in the ge…

This looks interesting, a sure way of tracking and monitoring engine temp added to an overheat alarm and a block sensor that does not rely on engine coolant temp for sensing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180574425360&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Jeff TT

Hi guys , I thought i would ask on here first before a mini forum.. My girlfriend has a newish Mini cooper (56 plate)and for her birthday soon i want to buy her an i-pod and a connection kit my question is...... the mini has a 3.5mm jack port so i assume the sound will come through the speakers but i cant see it being able to control the ipod, I have been told that this model of Mini is wired using fibre optic cables and will need a converter box that costs about £300 to be able to use the ipod and all the functions on the dash? does anyone know anything about this system or anyway of not using the converter box? Where's about the cheapest place to get some standard 280mm sized grooved brake discs? Took those oversized one's of mines off as they are a stupid idea as not even the whole pad is in contact with the disc, nevermind the whole disc not getting contacted either!

Right, I'm having a bit of a love hate relationship at the moment: She runs fine, and pulls like a train, gave it a bit of beans over the weekend, and she was great, never misseda beat. But this morning when i started her up there was a slight high pitched whine (sounded a bit like belts) but this stopped after about a minute or 2 as she warmed up. However.... she has started to make a tickety tick type noise which sounds a bit tappety? (my knowledge is limited so might be way off the mark here) I have tried to take a video with sound, but you can't really hear it properly. What could it be guys? She seems to run fine, full boost, no dodgy smells of fuel or…

Ran a ecu fault check on the black shorty today and came up with 34 det sensor. Had a look around the plug area and found some insulation tape on part of the cable. Took this off to reveal a couple of strands broken on the wire. Fixed it up together and fault cleared  took about 10 minutes to fix some things are just easy to fix :) Oh and the zed has fixed the top end rattle by having a good run out and fingers crossed we may be back up to 280 brake need a dyno run to prove this :) Dont you just love it when your zed fixes itself Hopefully with the det sensor fixed might get better mpg as im sure it was pretty poor
