Where's about the cheapest place to get some standard 280mm sized grooved brake discs? Took those oversized one's of mines off as they are a stupid idea as not even the whole pad is in contact with the disc, nevermind the whole disc not getting contacted either! :no:

Arrived this morning the z watch I ordered on e bay. Very pleased with it and for £22 it was not to expensive.It took 3 weeks to arrive from the other side of the world (free postage) which is what they said it would take.The face is big and chunky and nice rubber strap.I think I am now a complete z man with the car, t-shirt and now watch:lol:Are you a z person?:sad:Poll added

Ive downloaded the shareware version of conzult. Got my conzult unit Got my serial to USB adapter. But when i plug it all in and select engine check. The conzult unit flashes but the i get win error code 2 (cannot find drivers) The CD i got with the unit had lots of drivers stuff on it so i installed them all but nothing seemed to help. Most of it said no need as you have windows 7. How do you guys deal with this? Thanks Mark

Right, I'm having a bit of a love hate relationship at the moment: She runs fine, and pulls like a train, gave it a bit of beans over the weekend, and she was great, never misseda beat. But this morning when i started her up there was a slight high pitched whine (sounded a bit like belts) but this stopped after about a minute or 2 as she warmed up. However.... she has started to make a tickety tick type noise which sounds a bit tappety? (my knowledge is limited so might be way off the mark here) I have tried to take a video with sound, but you can't really hear it properly. What could it be guys? She seems to run fine, full boost, no dodgy smells of fuel or…

Ran a ecu fault check on the black shorty today and came up with 34 det sensor. Had a look around the plug area and found some insulation tape on part of the cable. Took this off to reveal a couple of strands broken on the wire. Fixed it up together and fault cleared :clap: took about 10 minutes to fix some things are just easy to fix :) Oh and the zed has fixed the top end rattle by having a good run out and fingers crossed we may be back up to 280 brake need a dyno run to prove this :) Dont you just love it when your zed fixes itself Hopefully with the det sensor fixed might get better mpg as im sure it was pretty poor

I currently own a mk4 supra N/A and my insurance is killing me on anything that is an import (I prefer import over UK models though), My insurance was £1000 when I first bought the supra (I was 23) im now 26 and they want more than 2 grand off me. Most companys want over 7k or wont insure me because of the area I live. Basically Im looking at a UK model car next and the Z is one car I need to own at some point in my life. Again I would normally go for the import version but its not an option now. I have three questions...... 1, Which year is the best model to buy? Nearly finished soundproofing half the car, doesnt look pretty, but should do its job. I started off with larger pieces, but ended up being a nightmare in places to mould to the panels properly, so ended up cutting smaller squares and strips.

Hi Guys, Doing some major work on the Z this weekend. Fired it up after being SORN all winter and a strange warning light has come on. It's not in the manual? It's like the high beam light but facing the other way and it's red. It's at the bottom left of the lower light console on the dash. Anyone know what it is? Cheers.

the other day the temp gauge shot up to pretty much the top stayed theyre for about 10 seconds then went back to normal..this only happens when the engine had het up..checked the temp sender sensor and gave it a clean still happenting now the bloody pod that holds the window wipers and temp controls just insnt working no digital temp display no windowwipers or spray.checked the fuses and theyre all ok..im puzzled and help or ideas would be appresiated

The previous owner of my Zed fitted oversized discs to the front without going up in size with the calipers so as you can guess it only grabs half of the disc and now looks like this - Ordered new pads today as yesterday after some heavy braking down from a "high" speed whilst playing with some of those crotch rockets on the roads just now :scooter:, It started grinding like hell as if they have been wearing uneven due to a sticking piston! So once the new pads come need to get the pistons etc. freed off and back to stopping me! lol

I´m thinking about starting my own collection of sports cars...Lamborghini murcielago, Nissan...mercedes...honda..ferrari.. looking around the net there is Autoart but wayy toooo expensive..thye have 1:18 die cast model of the murcielago for $1,600!! that´s ridiculous..eventhough they weight 5kg..does anyone knows of other websites where they got them cheaper with 1:18 and 2kg at least?? this also brings me up the doubt about our Z where never made on die cast 2kg models?

My breaker have a few electrical toys on it. BLITZ SBC-id boost controller BLITZ SBC-id power meter Apexi AFC air fuel piggy back computer Apexi EGT gauges with probes tapped into turbocharger downpipes I did want to put them on my car, but i think i just going to do the normal to get it close to 400bhp, and leave it there. I want to sell these parts, or even have them off the breaker and put to one side in case i do want to fit them to my car, the boost controller mainly. I dont have the first idea of how to get them off the car! Ive got all the wires down to the ECU, but where it goes through to the engine bay, i'm lost.. What im afte…
