Ive got my chin up, so im thinking about what colour to paint the car again. I'd decided on white, but im getting cold feet. Im going to have standard bumpers on it, dont not sure if a newer white will look right. Im thinking a nice grey now! Its a big thing for me, the colour makes the car, its costing £1200 and dont want to get it wrong!

Has anybody had any dealings with them? I just bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330566850694&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT and think I got a bargain :euro:. Okay, I'll probably have to pay some import but it should still come in cheaper than zcentre and hopefully with out the wait.

My 93 jdm had never had any issues with emmisions as my tester would never probe it. Today I had my mot done to be told that next year I would need a cat as the legislation is changing regarding emissions testing. Any testers on here can confirm this? My tester mentioned that some of his customers with newer, decatted cars go to him with an mot map, does any1 on here have to do this?

Got up 7am with the intention of having my front discs off by 8 and then get on with the day... Calipers are off, 7:15, looking good for time. Now for the spacers... Wait a min, what are these strange nuts about - shouldn't be too much bother, get the old socket on them. 4hrs later, 2 nuts rounded, a desparate trip to Andys, and a new socket set bought at Halfords... and eventually the spacers & discs are off!! Lesson learned today - if you ever see someone using these odd shaped nuts instead of a standard nut, punch them square in the face.

300 zx twin turbo It’s 1989...you’re a Nissan zed car fan. You have watched as the once great range has ‘evolved’ further and further from the lean, lithe sportscar the 240z, stood by and observed as it has put on weight, its sharp edges became blurred as the 260z, it put on more middle aged spread as the 280zx and ultimately became a car for second division football managers and retired publicans in the z31 300zx of the eighties. It was sad to watch, like a fighter struggling to make the weight and moving up the divisions, becoming slower, less agile, less sharp, and more worryingly, not carrying power up with him until ultimately he becomes a gatekeeper, a fight…

My autobox is not quite what I think it should be. I have gone down the auto-to-manual route once before and am considering doing it again. The question is..... Would it be difficult/expensive to drop in a 350z box ? They're 6 speed and designed to handle about the same power and my old 350z had a lovely change - short and positive. I'm guessing that at the least it would require an adaptor plate but I wouldn't have thought that was too onerous ? Actually taking it a step further - would an engine/gearbox swap work ? Has anyone done this ? Any thoughts ? Mark

We all know the Zed is a potent beast - but how many have kept your foot in all the way until it runs out of puff in 5th? Please do not tell me where or when you tried this - I shall assume it was on a private road / airfield / race track - or in Germany. Irrespective of where or when - what's the fastest you have been in your Zed AND what's the fastest you've been in any car?? The fastest I've been in my Zed is 145 (ish). The fastest I've ever been was flat-out, at an indicated 165mph, in my mates R33 GTS.

Im reading time and time again about people having to sell up due to money worries, i kept thinking, its a shame, and thinking about my own money commitments. I wont bore you with the long story, but im owed around £16000! Some is from here, as ive let people pay weekly/monthly for things. At the time i could afford it, and its with longstanding members on here i trust. Thats all going well so im happy with that. The most of it, is from family. I haven't been paid for 8 weeks due to money waiting to come in from jobs. We've just had the call to say the big job, we had all our hopes on, isn't going to happen:no: I dont know when or if im going to get paid f…
