I wanted to put a poll up but dont know how :-( Also, which is the more desirable version? Or is there nothing in it?? Reason I ask is my dad reckons I am making a mistake putting a JDM rear bumper on my UK car as people will assume it is just a grey import... What do you think? BTW my dad has nothing against imports as he used to have a JDM GTO but just reckons UK`s are more sought after...

Just before you take your Z to the scrapyard, give it one final send off doing some banger racing! Before..... After... Looks like someone opened fire on it as well!

  3. HI OK I just got hold of a 300ZX TT This is my second one, I had the first for 30 months until I had a bit of an 'incident' in it :hammer: The other one had a lot of body customisation - this one is more standard but has some engine mods OK so this one has amongst other things an HKS EVC boost controller that were not on my first one, plus some other upgrades I believe. Now when I bought it the guy said the boost controller and dump valves were not working (said his kids had messed with the settings on the HKS box at the weekend while he as valetting the car) Seeing as the car sounded and felt just as good as my first, and seemed if anything to…

Anyone had them shear when undoing to fit new bushes, if so what did you do. Started mine today and looks like a couple may shear if I persist, sprayed them with release oil and will leave overnight but not hopeful.

Where does it attach to? (apart from the battery, that is!) I undid mine when I sorted out the engine bay but I forgot where it goes  It's got two connectors that bolt onto somewhere.

Hi all, I want to replace the 3 (6 in totall) rubber mounts on my TT rear hubs so i have then managed to replace every bush. The problem im finding is that to replace them 6 bushes i need to buy a complete rear end kit that im in no need of. Is there anyone that would want to buy the remaining 12 bushes for the rear of their Zed? This is the kit im looking at http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=247&category_id=63&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7 Luke charges £8 quid for delivery :confused1: How about £50 quid delivered for the rest of the bushes?

Car is in the garage getting looked at as its meant to be going on a dyno tomorrow. They've said it has quite a bad exhaust leak near the drivers side turbo. Any ideas or thoughts on what it might be???

Hi guys, I bought a cubby hole off of someone on here a while ago, but upon fitment there seems to be some sort of gap around it when it's in the dash?? I can see the electrics behind the edge of it. Am I missing some sort of surround to it?

  19. Just been looking over my old posts from when i first joined. my god how far ive come with my knowledge of the 300zx, it all started when i bought a N/A from the isle of uist just off the coast of the isle of Skye in Scotland. Back then, i didnt know my PTU from my TPS, hadn't got a clue about coil packs, or even a CAS. Having been into doing my own car work for some time, i took it as a learning experience when the engine went bang, and decided to fix it my self. Well, changed the engine, sorted out the gearbox, and got it all running. swapped it for a Twinturbo, and my zed days carried on from there. Been loving every minute of it. just amazing ho…

This isn't a 'do you like my centre console' thread. I know you wont, but its the best way I can get everything fitted in. :tt2: I'm after some ideas of how to mount these bits in the console - Can I use body filler to fill the old roller adjuster holes for the vents (obviously need painting up afterwards?) but then I'll have the gaps around the gauge and controller. Or should I get some carbon fibre sheet/perspex etc and cut perfect size holes in for them and attach this to the console? Just after some advice as I've never attacked something like this before LOL :scared: so thanks for any input.

  22. Started by Steams,

After converting to a manual box, I'm going to be fitting the prop tomorrow. I'm using the original auto rear half and a manual front. As the prop halves are from two different cars, I was wondering if there is any way to avoid vibration issues when it's fitted? Can't afford a one piece shaft at the moment so that's not an option.

... on how the hell you remove the 3 or 4 plastic screws under the rear bumper lip in order to actually remove the rear bumper, but without a stubby phillips screwdriver, since mine got lost ages ago and I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. Preferably without damaging the straps or screws before anyone suggests cutting lol.
