  1. On my Zed there is a single sub loom near the battery area with a square connector similar to an injector connector which has been left unplugged, anyone know the function of this? The sub loom is just to the right of the oil dipstick where it comes off the main loom, and is pretty much in-line with the balance bar if you're looking from the battery side.

  2. Hello all My very post here so please be gentle (and i apologise if i inadvertently start a war off here) But back since when i was a little lad iv always liked the looks of a 300ZX, but what you want and what you get are 2 different things. Like wanting a 3 Litre Twin Turbo Zed and actually getting a 1.4 litre Honda Civic. While doing some research back in 2003 and having more enthusiasm about Japanese sports cars i came across the Toyota Soarer 2.5TT. After doing quite a bit of home work i bit the bullet and got one, and after selling it a year later i got another one. After selling that i got a Toyota Aristo 3.0TT (same as a GS300 but with the Supra eng…

Recently have had trouble with a misfire, problem was a combination of gunk in injector connectors and an out of spec S1 TT injector. Anyhow reading up on the S1 injectors found that the contact power feed to them was not a great idea by Nissan and came across this: http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1109134/Switch-injector-voltage-mod-in-1-2-3.html Has anyone done this?

I see many owners building big power cars and often fitting huge brakes.:scared: Thats great for posting threads on here and Facebook. But can you use them?? Can you drive and stop quick?? Personally i dont think you can......:innocent: So here is a chance to prove me wrong and make eat my words. In the style of "Street Outlaws" Im calling you out!!:tt2: Here is the challenge. Can you beat a 235bhp NA driven by an OAP?? Come to Donington. Aug 22 late afternoon for the evening track session. I can manage 10 laps at a time. How often in that 10 laps can you overtake me?? Once? Twice??

Often I can spend a lot of time trying to navigate nissan4u.com and not find what I’m looking for. So I thought I’d start this post to help people like me, who aren’t very good at looking up part numbers, utilise the knowledge and experience some of you amazing people have.

This may be hoping beyond hope but can anyone confirm if the rubbers for the rear three-quarter glass are available as a separate part ? There're obviously manufactured separately so perhaps they might be sourced from wherever Nissan sourced them ? Of course that assumes Nissan outsourced them :-) Has anyone tried with Nissan in Japan ? Thanks guys

Hi All, been a while since I've posted, new house purchase has done it's best to keep me away! The car lately has been idling terribly and stuttering badly when at low throttle and driving. At mid to full throttle, the car runs as well as it always has. all 6 cylinders run smooth at higher throttle. I know the engine has poor compression on one cylinder and has for quite some time, but I'm hoping to find another cause for the terrible low speed running I've finally got round to getting data scan connected and i'm just learning how to use it. I've attempted to adjust the AAC base idle but the car will still not idle with the screw all the way out. Also swapp…

in my previous thread about goodwood breakfast, and following on from some thread revivals and mention of calendars......... twice now I've been involved in photoshoots for club calenders where each region of the club was going to get a page, but nothing ever came of it once we drove round Winchester taking photos at various locations (from memory some of them were private land from the speed we drove in , photo'd and drove out) not sure who had the photos Bigh or Marco ? so the other time we turned up at a goodwood breakfast club ,back when they were less popular and about 10 of us got to park up at supercar sunday, but not so we could get a good photo. …

Another toy in the box to play with. kind of track orientated. Non turbo of course. Not too high tech so most of it can be done in my workshop.:thumbup1: usual motorsport basics. Some "out of the box" ideas/mods. Progress is slow as always, thats a problem with being old!!:scared: Everything takes longer. I was hoping for an outing in 2018.........probably not going to happen.. Most of you wont like it..............................

  11. Hi everyone, after a lot of issues over the past few years and less and less time to spend repairing my Z...... I am contemplating giving up and breaking her...... This will be the end of my 17 years of Z ownership.... I found a folded over piece of sill lip under the drivers side front where the front wing is bolted onto the sill. It looks like someone has jacked the car on the lip or something has hit it from underneath. I will never jack her there for this very reason and it was very rusty where it was damaged. After stripping off the underseal today I have found i have lost about 20cm of the inner seal where it meets the floorpan, as well as a lot of the sh…

So a buddy of mine did well at the BMW show at the weekend securing him self some rewards for the effort put into his car and sent me some pics, I was rather taken aback when I saw the trophy`s Very, very nice quality and fitting to the occasion. Now take a look at the many car and trader ones I am very proud and appreciative to display even today in my office, and wonder with the exception of the lower cup one`s why they are made of plastic ? this when there was £25k in the club account ! now I get it that the Bmw one`s there are sponsored and so the club is not paying out full cost, but then the amount of prizes they gave out was huge compared to ou…

Hey all, After four years of being off the road, my Zed is now taxed, insured, Mot'd and actually running  Four years ago, I took the plenum off in order to do the water bypass, amongst other things. Just then, real life got in the way and the car was put on the back burner for a couple of years until life got back to "normal". With some sense of normality returned - I eventually got my act together and now have a running Zed - not perfect - but good enough for the time being. Here's a photo of my rear end...

Wanting people's opinions on improving the front of the car. More specifically, the side and indicator lights. So, I debated on just tinting them, maybe moving them and changing to something different. Possibly do some halo rings on the light cluster might be the easiest and cleanest look? Let me have your opinions

After 4 years of hiding I think it is time to show my z. Bought the car in 2014 which was a mistake but stuck to it and saved another scrappy i reckon. I will add mod details eventually for starters some pictures will do. 18. So I got to thinking about the last 3 years as a 300zx Z32 Owner and realised just how many new friends I have made and mates I now have in the Zed community. All the way back to when Gazwoz offered me Purple Haze, my sweet Midnight Purple 98 TT in a deal against an old vinyl record collection I had stuffed in a cupboard and the few quid I had saved up. I think being the good guy he is, he knew after my many months in hospital I was desperate to get out on the road again and that one of his Zed’s was top of my list, Gazwoz made me an incredible offer and Thank God he did, a top bloke. Of course, I never would have found out about Gazwoz without the 300zx UK owners forum a…

Hi just purchased a jap 300zx tt manual and it vibrated terribly I was told by the person I brought it off that a friend replaced the engine in it and told him that he might have bolted the propshaft in wrong so I got it up on the ramp and compared my prop to some pics online and the middle looked wrong and the bolts were the wrong way round I have swapped it a couple of times and it’s a lot better but I ain’t sure if the back had been unbolted before so is there any standard marks on it I can go by or can it be clocked in and if so how is that done just seem to be chasing my tail here thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So went for an ATC assessment today, took the red car to Southampton with no problems. Finished the day, walked to the car, started it, foot on clutch, won't go into gear! Tried and swore for 15 mins, then checked clutch fluid and it's on minimum so I'm guessing it's got a leak. Nearest halfords is 7.8 miles away and it's raining badly. Do I walk 14 miles to take a chance more fluid will get it home or wait for the AA who will tell me the clutch has gone, then wait for a flatbed who will tell me they can't put the car on because the front bumper is too low? No how I planned my Friday afternoon/evening/night

What do people think of these? They look to me to be oem housings with hrand new 2018spec CHRAs. They should be awesome with very little lag. Are those new wastegates too? And still journal bearings? They would fit my build perfectly! I imagine they will be pricey though!

This was probably the best, and biggest 300zx meet the UK has ever had. So since we were talking about it on another post, I thought I'd create a thread specific to it. Here's a link to my Dropbox account which has around 135 photos from the meet, along with the videos that were made at the time. Obviously video technology has moved on a little. I've added all the videos to YouTube for ease of watching too. Dropbox Link Ferrybridge photos https://www.dropbox.com/sh/36de8inf0802qu8/AABogdEkq4nXllwg133XTAkwa?dl=0 YouTube videos
