I know I'm not subbed, and I know it isn't much, and I'm on here all the time because I frickin' love the place, but money is a travesty at the moment... Anyways, I was wondering if someone could please PM Paulbrem for me, with this email address : dirtytudor @ hotmail . co . uk and ask him to send me his home address, he was wonderful enough to lend me a part from his engine at daft O'clock in the morning, and I still have his replacement, but have lost his number due to a change of phone... And if someone does, could you post on here and say, so that he doesn't get loads of the same PMs :) And, this thread can be binned after someone has, many thanks, Tud…

Looking for a bit of info on any HKS turbos available for the 300zx. The GT2530s are obviously fairly popular. But does anyone have any info on the GT2510s and 2510s? I have scrolled tinternet and cant find much info at all. There seems to be a bit on Twinturbo.net but i just cant figure that site out. I'm basically after the spec for the above turbos. I assume the Gt2510s and 2510 are fundamentally the same, but the GTs being BB? How does these compare with stock? Are there any more HKS turbos? Does anybody run these, have any experience with these? Sorry for the 20 questions. Thanks

Hopefully this is just a sticky needle... A week or so ago the boost guage stuck on zero, car drove fine so I took it to a road where I could get some boost action to make try and nudge the needle but nothing happened. Later that day after the engine had been off and on a few ties it just went back to normal. Been fine since, til yesterday when it happened again and now wont budge back or forward, sitting just past the zero mark. Any suggestions, is this just a sticky needle or sign of something more sinister? had a look under the bonnet, found one cracked hose and sorted that. There is another which seems to have been tapped off poorly but its always …

After Mark's thread I'm wondering if I've installed my SBC correctly. Have a look at this link; http://www.xspeed.com.au/manuals/Blitz_SBC_i-D_manual.pdf I installed it via the TT actuator way (page 3) but should I have done it the external wastegate wa (p4)? Help got myself confused over this. lol

To run alongside the Z I have picked up a S14 auto which will be my 2nd project. I had been planning to build the Z with big power and for track action but decided against extreme tack action as I don't think it's right to strip it and ruin a good cruiser. So the S14 will get the full stripping and extreme track prep. Starting removing the T28 turbo, loom an ECU which is sold and has covered 2/3 of the cost of the car  Next to go will be the ABS and the engine which is knocking alot along with the auto slush box, then the front and rear subframes for some rust treatment and car undersealing. As I can't do much to the Z until it comes off the road after Trax the…

Hi guys, Looking at options to replace my smokey tubs and am after some advice. I've looked at the Z1 products but not too sure which would be best. Will be for road use with the odd trip to the nurburgring or track day, I'm not looking at upgrading the engine internals so massive tubs are not an option. I've looked at the option of using a pair of T28's, these are labelled as replacements for the 200SX, would these fit a 300? I also don't want to spend a fortune on them either, the wife is already spending my Afghanistan bonus and turbos ain't on her list LOL. Cheers, Rob

My gear lever doesn't return back to the central position - if i wiggle it in neutral it either stays left or right, almost like there is no spring or anything. 2. My ABS light is permanently on - any ideas? 3. Wheres the best place to get roof seals? Ta

I have a greddy system in my TT, it was there when I brought the car some 4 years ago and I have never understood it, however having had a health check done on the turbos and the car, the performance is being governed by this system. I am running standard turbos (I think) on 555 injectors because apparently the engine was re-built to a higher spec. (Please dont ask me to what as I have no paperwork on it at all)...long story. Can anyone help me with what I can start with on the settings, like a base setting I suppose please? Thanks everyone.

Does anyone have a spare coil pack for a 1992 UK spec manual tt. I have had my mechanic round and we have located the issue of the missfiring, It is the coil pack on the rear right of the engine as you look at it from the front. It is nearly 20 years old now and if they are original they have done very well...lol Thank you
