Wonder if you guys could help me, whilst the past decade + of business has been a constant learing and relearning of new ways to promote and keep the best service available I am always keen to hear others views. Below is a series of pm`s from a customer who I concidered had received a good service with a fair price and tech help to boot. Unfortuntately there has been a problem a few months later that to be fair has not been substantiated by ourselves but as usual we take things as we are told as there is no reason to think other wise and so offered tech support and advise and later a replacement part, to keep cost down for us we sent the part by Royal Mail not …

  10. Hi Guys, Do any of you have kids that go in the back of the 300? Reason I am asking is the seat belts in the back are not normal like the ones in the front of the car. The ones in the back just strap over you waist as it were is the best I can describe it. Now the booster seats - don't go in the back very well due to the shape of the seat. So I was wondering does anyone know if I can just have the kiddies in the back with the seat belt fastened and no booster? As I thought the booster was for the type of belts in the front of cars. Any help appreciated. regards Dave

hey folks, just wondering about prices for a 'drive in drive out' manual conversion in Scotland, is there any specialists etc...i wouldn't actually mind buying the parts and doing it myself, could it be done over a weekend etc??? i do like the auto to drive, but not having full control of the gears has started to wear thin very quickly :( i did see somewhere that did it down south but it was £1200 or something like that, i would deffo prefer a conversion than looking for another manual 300, with the exception of a few blemishes i've managed to pick up a really decent car, the motor seems really well looked after etc...anyway, as mentioned above, any specialist in Sco…

Hi guys, Need some advice yet again! lol OK, first things first, my engine is on a stand stripped down, it's been sitting for 3 years and my mechanic suggests new head gaskets... I have the complete gasket kit, but I want to run up to around 400bhp with a boost controller after. Do I need a metal gasket with arp head bolts or can the standard new gasket take that with a set of new bolts??? Thanks a lot peeps.

As the weather was nice, I thought I would take the Z for a spin along the by-pass. at around 5,500 RPM under full boost, WHAM! sudden loss of power,:scared: It felt as though I was only running on 2 or 3 cylinders and she was really shuddery. Brought the speed to 20 MPH with no load and everything was smooth, but as soon as I applied any sort of load she just ran awful. managed to limp home in second and third gear so as to keep the rev' down, once on the drive she ticked over and revved like a sewing machine,:confused1: any ideas? this has got me worried to say the least.

  19. OK after the long wait which felt like years, she has had a recon gearbox auto, fitted by my local garage. Then had other issues but they were not experts on this car, having tried their best. I took it to D2 in Strood. As he was recommended on here and by Nissan themselves Got the car back at 12pm. Took here for a ride about 35 miles in total which I have to say is the longest ride I have had since owning the car. Well all I can say is she ran sweet as a nut....! My heart very relieved. There might be issues that appear later but so far so good. Gave it some heavy right foot as one would on the fast roads and my oh my!! She was great! So although i…

  22. well i cant even remover how long its been and how many components I've change and checked...... (not to event mention the amount it's cost).. any way finally sorted out a vac tester unit, made a couple of these up: and low and behold, massive pressure loss.... one of the pipes form the intercooler direct on to the turbo had a big hole in it (could push my littler finger though it)... I'd already tightened all those pipes up but hadn't taken them off...D'Oh.... anyway one of the vac pipes also had a split in it, rubber melted close to the turbo.... anyway, car now has the power I remember.... very happy :) :D :)

Well all its been a while, unfortunately i have only driven my Zed once this year and that was for the Banzai mag shoot in about March. It has MOT Tax and is insured . I really need to pull my finger out my backside and do a few bits to it to get it proper sorted out so it is a more sensible drive. 1. Fit a new stock fuel pump (that I have) just till its run in. 2. Bleed or adjust the clutch as it bites a bit bit low 3. Sort out the Emerald stuff its doing like 3-5MPG and has a bad blank spot. Then I can run it in, I love the car but just seemed to loose interest in it when I realised I could not do anything with it because of the MPG. At the …
