Typical that late yesterday afternoon when I was 200 miles from home and with darkness looming, one of the headlights decided to give up the ghost. Not a problem as Mr Halfords wasn't that far away so off I pop to grab a replacement bulb then I realised that one of the sidelight bulbs had given up the ghost also as a precaution I checked all the fuses and replaced them with new The 'bulb guide book' in the store stated that I needed a Bosch # 448 (single pin) and a Bosch # 501 (bulb tip) apparently. anyway, I replaced the main headlight bulb (448) and full beam worked just fine but no headlights on both sides? so I went to fit the sideligh…

At the end of a run there seems to be water blowing through the rad cap? Is this HG or maybe just the cap is gone?

I recently changed the c/l fuse as I blew it changing an interior light and ever since when I get out of the car and press my remote to lock and alarm the car, the indicators flash to show alarm is set but doors do not attempt to lock. If I then insert the key into the door lock it manually and then unlock it the fob then seems to work the c/l remotely... I am assuming it "must" be mechanical as the fob is "comunicating" with the car, just not always locking it... Any ideas what to check guys, btw when the doors do remotely lock/unlock there is no unusal sounds as though the mechansm is struggling or anything... Thanks, Dan

Hello guys, I have started a small project with my old Z that I bought some time ago that was for cheap and with a blown HG and rusted to death. Well the body was pointless to repair so I have sold the engine and suspension and had the body sitting near my shop for about a year waiting to get scrapped, but rather than that I have deciced that I could build a frame and put the suspension and engine on it and the outer panels from the Z put on it...simmilar to the body on frame cars like in the US but with a rollcage already inside. Not deciced on the bodypanels yet, just counting the weight on every single outer panel and deciding if I should keep the origin…

Hi, I now have a 94 imported 300ZX in Sapphire Blue. I can't believe I’ve waited so long to get one, since I admired the cars way back in the early 90’s Anyway, my "just needs a re-gas" on the a/c has turned out to be about £850 new parts (eek!). Just wondering how many others out there have good working a/c, or have many just not bothered to have it fixed ? Also, is it me, or are the rear spoilers now out of fashion ? I notice quite a few cars no longer have a spoiler. Are they easy to remove, or does this mean welding up hole & total re-paint ? Finally, I have ended up with a blue car (same as the one in the first Kill Bill film), but reall…

Changed my dodgy o2 sensor today and it's now working as expected, but now the bleeding right hand one is not working :headvswal. Was before, I changed the l/h one. I've saved a log file in conzult that shows idle's then is taken upto 2000rpm+ then back to idle again. If I email the log file, can somebody run it through the conzult analyzer and let me know if it's looking alright and If I now need to change the right hand o2. The car setup is currently; Standard non-chipped ECU, Decats, Apexi Filter, Blitz SBC set on 9psi. Cheers Steams

Passed MOT today so i'm one step closer to racing at the Brighton Speed Trials in September! They did say that my aftermarket brake lines need to be fixed to the bracket by where they connect to the hard pipe lines. Has any one needed to do this? If so, how?

Right guys, i need some advice: I have not been using the zed recently as she was making a slight tapping noise from the top of the engine. I thought it might be sticky lifters so used some Wynns lifter treatment, it got quieter. I had the hesitation issues so swapped the MAF, she stopped hesitating. I went out today and took her around the ringroad where i live, and the tapping from before, is now much louder and a bit deeper. here is a couple of short vids with sound. The noise if definitely coming from the top of the engine, more on the drivers side than the passengers side. http://s1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff384/pablitoZX/?action=view&c…

Pics as requested. The spoiler is either an original wings west or a very good copy. A few minor scratches. the securing bolts are shot (rusted when i removed) but would need new ones fitting to secure (maybe a pm to carmad) In KH3 nissan black. comes with the brake light, but casing only, as the led lights got wet. I gave groover the led board at a meet to see if he could do anything with it. If its for rose's zed, would need preping. if interested just cover the postage, or courier and its yours. Stu

Changed the clocks to UK the other day and now the speedo don't work. After a bit of reading I reckon it's because I haven't removed the speedo converter. My question is what the hell does it look like?????????? Any pics would be good as there is a load of what can only be described as crap behind my dash LOL. Yesterday I removed just short of 5KG of old stereo cable !!!!!!!!!!! Cheers, Rob
