I picked one of these up a while back and now i,ve been running the car abit and i,m happy all is well i thought i,d better fit the chipped ecu and play with the boost controller , after a few runs and increasing it gradually i settled at 12psi , FOOKING WOW :scared::scared: , the cars felt faster as a manual anyway but this has put it in a different league !! One very happy middle aged pot bellied bloke ! lol :dance::dance::dance:

im looking at purchasing a set of 19 inch alloys, they are 5x114 8.5j front and 10j rears, but the seller is unsure of the offset, will this cause a major problem or can i use spacers or roll arches?

Well, I have my Titan 5w-40 ester synthetic oil ready to go, in along with a K & N high flow filter. My question is, can i put a cheaper oil in first so as to flush out the old oil without contaminating the new oil?

it sounds like something is catching. It only used to happen on the outer direction settings, (windscreen only, face only) but now only the middle (feet only) setting is unaffected. Any ideas?

gents has anyone fitted some some to there zed? or have an idea of what might fit? maybe ones from the z350 if they have any the reason why is i think the stones flying up from the road damages your arches and the rust then starts, having a plastic liner would really help i think

Just watching bbc 3, a comedy show called the pranker on BBC 3, the first scene the guy goes into a garden center and starts cooking sausages on the BBQ saying hes gotta try it before he buys it. When he is being kicked out, in the garden center carpark is a apple green 300zx with the viper wings on it lol Cant get it up on bbc iplayer at the moment as its streaming the show live.

I am having an engine rebuilt which should hopefully produce around 500bhp. I've been considering a dual intake set up. From what I understand, the only proper way to do this is to use two MAFs and use the selin maf translator. However.... I will be using an AEM EMS. Does this Make the redundant? In which case, I only need a doolz style pipe and an extra filter? Thanks

Hi, Recently whenever i boost there seems be a nasty smell that comes into the cabin, anyone know what it might be? It smells like burning rubber or something. Also i boosted it from 0-130 (private road) my whole cabin started to fill up with smoke. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing it??? No smoke from the exhausts or anything! Cheers!

What brake pads would you recommend for value for money / performance... I don't plan to take my zed to track days, nor drive around pushing it to the max. Would Mintex front pads be ok for general day to day driving?

i have just installed my new light panel with the 3rd brake light, wired into the brake light loom up the quarter panel back down through the boot lid into the panel, at first it worked fine, but soon after all brake lights failed and has caused the battery to flatten, i have since just cut the feed cable and now it is fine with just my two light clusters workin as normal, whats happening to my 3rd brake light guys? Do stretched tyres affect performance and handling??

Got myself a coilover key, but as you can see the coilovers are a little rusty. I've given them a nice coating with WD40 but they wont budge!! Anyone have any ideas of what i can use, or how to get these moving??

Was gona reseal cam covers i need to take plenum of to do this will i need new gaskets for the plenum .Looks like the outer cam covers are silcone beaded seal .and the inner are rubber do i need to replace the half moon seals as well any advise thanks .

just looking for thoughts on this one the gear change on my zed feels very clicky and sometimes difficult to put into some gears (clutch was replaced circa 8000 miles ago) i do have movement in the gear lever also if i try twisting it in a clockwise/anti clockwise direction there is a fair bit of movement there, is the probabble cause the nylon bushes in the bottom of the gear stick? on the good side my smoking problem hasn't appeared the last 6/7 times ive used the zed until this morning when it started to smoke slightly just when i thought it had cleared lol

will be changing the exhaust manifold soon, do i need to buy new exhaust manifold gaskets? or can i just re-use the current ones? if so can anyone reccomend a decent place to get one.
