Right, I knew zelda years ago after she was put together by pete (PPS) and as those older ones here know his work was second to none. I saw zelda and thought wow, the car is so nice and IMO everything looked spot on. I didn't even mind the big spoiler, the back lights at the time were 3 rings type of thing if that makes sence. Anyway, to cut a long story short I've just been Reading the for sale advert, she's still a lovely motor but I don't think it's as nice as it was before (I have pitures somewhere). The 99 spec rear lights are nice but I gotta say I liked the old ones (only on her) better. I also thinkthe newer wheels look too big and leaves the stance a but o…

following this guide http://www.renault5turbo.free.fr/Stock%20FORUM/Documentation/T25_turbo_instruction.pdf but ran into a slight problem, it just says "remove the bolds and the holding plates" doesnt mention anything about the fact the bolts hit the bloody oil housing in the center of the turbo. tried pulling it off but no joy with the bolts half out.

Hi lads, I got my hands on a used pair of the decat pipes/elbows that Japspeed do. My car was an auto originally, but is now a manual. Was trying to get some new gaskets before getting it fitted and was told this kit will not fit an auto. Does anyone know why it wouldn't fit an auto? And as my car is converted to a manual is it ok now? I wasn't sure if it was to do with the positioning of the gearbox or something else enitrely that stops these going onto an auto, but if anyone can offer any insight that would be great. Cheers, Daz.

Last year my swb tt auto started to play up on full throttle. I checked connections etc and still no joy. So I purchased Series 1 & 2 PTU's. I have just got round to swopping over series 1 PTU. Everything seemed a bit better, but as soon as the temperature increased , back came the lack of horses. It seems to be a missfire, but no smoke. If I drive it gently it seems to be oKish, but then if a blip the throttle hesitance and a missfire. It ticks over allright. So maybe 2 faulty PTU's? or something else. Is there anybody near Andover who has a diagnostic set up? I would book it up with Zedworld, but I'm worried how far it would get and what damage might be incurred.…

I snapped it up and was instantly impressed i love it the torqe's addictive and i love tue way tue auto box slips the clutch on a down change to smooth the change! The idle was lumpy so i took it to darren at d2 he did a cracking job found an air leak on the egr (thanks to a crap repair job by the previous owner) anyway he did a great job and even complimented the car saying it was one of the cleanest uk cars hed seen in years! i was dead chuffed with the car after he had worked on it ( hig…

Morning guys hoping you can help or shed some “light” as the case may be….. Got my H3 HID’s delivered last night. Good stuff Went to fit them and everything but when it came to clip them in to place the clip isn’t pushing down on the bulb to hold it in to place. I removed the hid and compared the bulb and it looks like the original H3c bulb has some kind of “wings” that are between the bulb and the base which make the base sit higher in the little channel thus allowing the clip to push on the base much sooner. Has anyone else experienced this? More to the point, has anyone got a good fix? Rather than spacer the base upwards and bring the hid light…

Well thanks to Lee Dent and Sussex Stu, I have my Zed performing like it has never done before, its quicker more responsive and performs very well. Now, the only problem left is it still misses a beat now and again, and hunts sometimes. This is more common when it is hot I think. I do have a greddy system in my car, and have been told it needs setting up correctly which I have in hand now.....would this cause those issues, or is there something simple I should look at replacing..... Thank you

As I recently changed my seats to leather, I wanted the armrest to match. As a SWB armrest in leather seem hard to find, I plumped for chancing a LWB one and making it fit (they are about 20mm longer). As luck would have it, Mackam Maz had a LWB one up for sale in good condition and at a nice price, so I thought I would see what I could do ... Thankfully, for once, Mr Nissan kindly didn't redesign the whole part ! After disassembling we find all we need to do is a bit of hacksaw action and we can fit the LWB top section onto the SWB base with very little problem :) Peel back the leather and mark it up: Cut it off: Trim the leather…
