Hi all, As per thread title, my door-open warning light on the dash is constantly on. I've checked the door and tailgate switches and they are all working ok. However, the interior light relay is warm to the touch and my battery discharged itself fully a few days ago - connection? :confused1: To me, it points towards a replacement relay required - any thoughts? Cheers - Andy

How does it go on?? I know it screws on but it's the gaiter i'm having trouble with, I've got to flappy bits either side of the hole. What do you do with these? I tried tucking them in but when I screwed the knob on it didn't look right  What am I doing wrong?? PS. It's a 99 spec knob on a shortshifter, if that makes a difference.

If not wasnt there someone on here that had a load of them going cheap? I know nissans want mega money for them. I heard about the Nismo ones that seemed cheaper but they required cutting down to size. Any ideas? Thanks Dan

  12. my brakes have been very poor for a while now, stopped with engine running brake pedal will go to floor but only when the car has been driven and is warm, i assume a broken master cylinder would let my pedal go to the floor all the time?? Cheers, dan

Well thanks to Steams, top bloke i must say. forgot how high the car would raise on standard height suspension, so had to pop the engine back in and adjust the load leveler, plus get the hoist lifting on all chains, these pictures were taken before id done that, the last well being taken after. Next up, fit the new turbos, change me fancy stuff over, and get the new engine back in. how hard is it to drop the front sub frame get the steering UJ out the way and get the gearbox and engine in in one go? as not too keen on trying to get a gearbox to mate with the engine from under the car with not much room, when on my own? photos taken using my phone, as did…

I currently have a Koyo rad fitted, but it's leaking a fair bit from the bottom (not sure how this has happened). I guess it will need replacing? I had a search and gather that products like Radweld aren't so great for these cars? Can it be repaired? I've been looking online for a Koyo rad, and found this, although that seems suspiciously cheap? Would I be better off going for the Japspeed group buy on at the moment, and will the Japspeed radiator fit the same pipes that are currently attached to my Koyo rad?

Whilst my engine is out, im going for a full paint job. The car is currently black but ive decided to change. There just seems to be too many black ones about. Anyhoos, i was thinking of a light grey. Not as dark as the stock gunmetal, but way darker than silver. But i dont want a dull boring grey grey. :) In my head i see a super shiny pearly grey lol, prob with a blue pearl. However, after hours on google i cant find what i'm after. The closest i can find is Ferrari or TVR grigio titanio or Dodge Viper steel. Does anybody have any ideas? Any photo shop masters out there than can rustle something up? Thanks

Hi, bit of an eventful day today and to cut long story short after a fews months back at home I'm flying the coop again. I'm only young, financially it was a great idea but in practice, hell no ha. Anyhow thats all sorted and I can't wait for the move but my only concern is I will be moving to Sheffield and the idea of keeping my Zed on the road in the city centre isn't one that fills me with glee. As such i'm wanting to make a bit of extra effort and fit some extra security toys and was hoping for some suggestions really. Just bought a quick release boss as I figure the idea of pinching a car without a steering wheel probably isnt the best but anything else anyone can su…

right i got hold of some switches with build in led so i know when there on i have 3 and wish to use them for powering the Antenna as i hardly listen to the radio, and everyone says it spoils the look of the car and one for additional sidelights on the front, and the other for my lights for my rear side reflectors? i dont want to ruin my perfect radio surround of damage the plastics around the clock or gear lever?, where do you lot locate your switches? cheers chris
