Hi there all, As some of you know I've had turbo problems. After some serious thinking I'm going down the route of T28's from 2 200SX. They will OEM Garrett parts and will be fully reconditioned, by who I don't know yet but not a pikey back street garage. I'm led to believe that 1 will need to be 'clocked' to give me handed turbos. What else will I need to consider and buy to make the conversion as good as I can? I will be putting the cats back on the car but would rather use high flow cats with divorced downpipes, is this possible or am I dreaming LOL. Cheerz guys, Rob

Hi im converting my car from auto to manual, do i need to change the wiring from the auto to a manual or can i cut and solder the old wiring loom

Hi ive done a manual conversion cleaned all the connectors maff etc she wants to go but wont!! Do i need to change the ECU as well?

would a vg30de fit in an opel manta? I've been thinking about what to do with my NA engine when I drop the new engine in. I had a manta coupe about 10 years ago and would love another. So, anybody any ideas if this is possible?

hi every1, Tried a wheel on my zed today, they are 18inch with et35 8.5j front and et35 9.5j rear, Problem is their sticking out a little on the rear, is their a positive and minus et35, Gonna try take a pic, and put it on here. thank you.

right first i know most people will say change to manual! but im a lazy F**K lol please correct me if i am wrong! the autobox must change gear using electronic signals? so could i get rid of my autochanger and put buttons like you get on a astonmartin onto my dash to change gear? or even buttons on the back of the steering wheel to change through P N D 1 2 etc? and could i somehow get a device to show me what gear i am selected in? just a mad idea! probable not doable but if it was i would want a go!

hi drivers electric window has just ceased to work you can hear the motor working in the up position but nothing in the down is it more likely to be the switch or the window motor anyone any ideas please

Can anyone tell me. what pipes i need to Tee into and maybe a simple diagram. do you ditch the 2 solinoids and just use the new one??

afternoon all! I had a little play last weekend with various bits and bats and really decided that I wanted to give me front as as little grooves and lines as possible. im the kinf of guy who lies to flow with a cars original lines and make things just a lot less messy, anyway, I decided I wanted to go with a non TT bumper so thought I would pop on some pics of what I did and my new intercooler ducting and how i sealed off the old intercooler scoops. opinions welcome :)

Hi. Quite a strong smell of petrol from the engine bay when the engine is cold. Clears when engine warms up. Any ideas?

Found a Jap Z in a breakers getting the full details on Monday but so far it has a manuel box perfect for a conversion and HKS coil overs for £300. Anyone interested no good to me because I'm doing a standard restore? Daz.

On the Newport Road, just going past the new Oakridge Park estate. Couldn't tell the colour as is was dark (I think it was blue or black), had a vented nose panel also I think.

I will be attending santa pod on the 21st August and I believe there will be a fair number of zeds there. While I have never been a fan of the quarter mile I really did enjoy the buzz at Elvington and Pete has convinced me to try santa pod. Can someone measure a subframe? Need the distance between the bolt holes where it joins to the body, front to back and left to right.

Been under the bonnet this afternoon with matt the guy who has silver streak [to check on his wiring problem] and noticed the pipes in the attached pictures blanked off, and they aren't on silver streak ! Can any one enlighten me on this? Had this car since 2003 [briefly sold it 2010] but never noticed this before. Dave

Odd question but has anyone ever fitted the sump with the reserve at the front? I know it require mods/custom sump and feed pipe but has it been done? And before you ask why it's the easiest way to get better clearence for this....

Saw a very smart red 300, with 99spec reverse panel and cleared lights at wollaton crossroads in nottingham about 8:15 this morning!

Made the journey down to Emerald yeaterday afternoon. Left Glasgow at 1430 and arrived at 2200 last night. I was a bit apprehensive as the car had not been on any decent journeys for quite some time but it ran very smoothly. Kept it below 3000rpm the whole way down. It is now in the hands of Dave Walker at Emerald and on the rollers at the moment. Will try and get a couple of photo's when i pop back!! Not really bothered about chasing big power figures i just want the car to be quick and driveable!! Will let you know how i get on later!
