About a week and a half ago my motor developed cold running issues! Starts first time but runs like older cars do without the choke out!! Will stall sometimes but generally keeps idling, just. Runs poorly until up to temperature then appears to be pretty normal. While cold, she runs poorly but responds better when accelerating harder, though sometimes farts a bit getting there lol! Any clues and advise gratefully received.

Hello everybody! Been reading this forum for some time, now time for my first question. I have been looking for a big brake kit, Stoptech and Hispec Monster 6 but also considering cheaper options such as K-Sport and D2. Been e-mailing with Hispec and Stoptech and they have been helpful and most likely I am going to choose between these two. So, any user experiences from Hispec Monster users? Stoptechs reputation as a good manufacturer is pretty obvious? - Tuomo

Just upgraded my boot install with an additional Genesis amp and a JL 10W6. 1st thing is the silver ring round the W6. Although it's a signature feature, I'm finding it jarring on my eye. Opinions please!! Any suggestions welcome. Was thinking of spaying it satin black. 2nd thing is - any ideas on pepping up the plastic boot panels. Mine are looking a little tired with a few scratches and marks. 3rd thing - do you like my two amps side by side!! LOL!! I've always liked the finish on Genesis kit let alone the awesome sound quality. Did it all my self you know!! (which is evident on close inspection hence the poor quality photos!!) :tt2:

im having a problem sorcing a part its the external b piller trim (the gloss black part on the top of the door) ive seen some sites calling it the sail and a few calling it the b piller but no one seems to sell them are they even replacable? The only ones ive found are some stick on chrome ones but i want to keep the car looking stock. Mine are a bit scuffed like someones been using it to open the door with a ring on or something so are probly reparable if need be, any ideas?

right this is my maths. (rim width/half) to find the wheels centre. then plus or minus the offset to find out where the rear face of the wheel would sit. by that centre line so. (rim width/half)+? then measure the resulting number from the hub face out to the arch and see where it lies..... is that correct? ie a 245 rim with an offset of -33 would sit 89.9 mm away from the hub face. :detective: i think im right its just i cant spell very well and the maths isnt exactly top notch neither.

Got the engine and box out in one today, only pain was, although i drained the gearbox oil, more gushed out the back as we lifted it at an angle, managed to catch most of it, but had to jetwash the drive off ready for tomorrow. Cleaned the engine bay of grease and grime, ready to paint then hopefully new engine and box in on thurs :thumbup1: Had no major problems apart from a subframe bolt spinning, but got that welded to get it off and a new one to go back in, so far so good. Took a couple of pics with the engine in the air, would have taken more, but got covered in oil. Will take some pics of the new one going in as its nice and clean
