I need to get a leaky oil pipe replaced on the z It comes from the diff to the oil cooler, metal pipe, the one under the cooler. Is there a specific name or part number for it? As if i go to my nissan dealership, im going to be there for days trying to explain where it is. Thanks

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being that a cack handed spanner biff could do it, 10 being professional mechanics only) 1. I've got a 95' spec fuel rail with Nismo 740cc injectors fitted in the LWB and I was wondering, how easy/difficult would it be to do a direct swap (on my driveway) for the stock rail/injectors that are currently in the shortie'? 2. Forged internals and turbo/s swap is an engine out job, no alternative (yes/no)? 3. The AEM EMS that I have, used to be fitted to the same zed that the forged engine came out of, Could I fit the AEM EMS to the shortie' before it's driven up to Protuner for its re-map or should it be swapped once up t…

For anyone interested in the 'nismo' (I'm skeptical as to whether they are a genuine item or not) here's my home made versions using the stock ones, admittedly they're not carbon copies, but this cost £10 the other ones from the US are looking closer to £90 with shipping and probably more after import tax. these can be seen here at CZP: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=1072&Car_Type=300&UID=2011082711150890.216.226.222 You only need a few bits really, the indicators themselves (tend to come stock :) ) and some tinting spray. In all fairness this is essentially just diluted black spray paint and you can use just standard black pa…

Just a thank you to the two members that helped me out with this and a plug to boot. I got the Polished Aftermarket Radiator Bracket from AlanZ and the bespoke 'SLICKTOP' plate from TwinTurboRich, I am going to rivet the plate to the bracket. Both just roughly offered in place currently as my new radiator will be fitted after JAE Thank you boys here is the pic

Hi guys, everytime i drive my car after rainfall or a wash it gives me a huge jolt and almost like a fuel cut or something, stopping me driving into the revs, this got better as the journey went on. I was almost certain that the maf was to blame, but only because water was getting on it, and i thought that the journey dried it out as it went. Today i found this in my filter That was at the end of the run, i dread to think how much was in there at the beginning. Its an apexi power intake, not a cheap one i believe. Can i clean this and are they prone to letting in water, or will that be the paper gasket used to blame. Thanks guys Mark

Oh and i dont know if its related but about 3 hours into the jorney i had the cruise control set and we started up hill almost got to the top and it felt like it started running on 5 cylinders so i slowed down and it cleared and was then fine for the rest of the jorney :s im shittin myself the the headgaskets on its way out. Just had some paint work done on the front and I have 2 options where to put my plate :) The old position was on the front of the bumper and my new position is underneath on a hinge so I can hide it at shows... but I think its made my car look a little plain at the front and seems like something missing? what do you guys think? where should it go ? yeh i know, i should work it out. here are the stats and tyre sizes. i think they will fit pretty well and fill teh arches with minimal spacing. Rear are 9jj e38 with 255/40/17/94y falcon 452 Fronts are 8jj e35 with 215/45/17/87y falcon 452 are teh fronts a little too narrow? and will that difference in profile make much difference to the speedo etc.

didn't even get down my drive this morning and the load stalled it.... now im presuming its an air leak after changing the plenum, but as for where i don't know, here is where it isn't intercooler hoses (lrg ones at front all 4 checked sealed and refitted) plenum to manifold gasket( brand new and sealed with instant gasket both sides.) acc (think that's what its called) at rear of plenum passenger side, new gasket and sealed with sealant) throttle bodies new gaskets and sealant( no sealant went in the tb's) balance bar new lrg rings sealant for smaller one, all vacumme lines i know of have been replaced and tightened wi…

As above, Mine spins with the engine but I can't say that it's going any faster when the engine is up to temp than it did when first started. Is it failing or am I just being paranoid?

Just bought myself a set of these and having some issues! First issue which I eventually resolved after two hours was getting the old recircs out, skinned knuckles and lots of blood I got that done. But, The problem I've now got is the fitting kit doesn't fit ! It comes with two metal stop plugs, two rubber hoses and two metal adapters that change the hose size up from the dump valve to the size of the pipe on the zed, to me it looks like there's two more hoses missing to connect the adaptor to the zed. Also the stop plugs are the same size as the holes to need two more hoses to join them together too. Are you suppose to use any of …
