Checked coil packs there working fine, havent tested power yet as it was getting dark but wondered is there any common fault or newbie mistake ive made fitting that would cause only the front 2 injectors not to fire?? thanks Craig PS still sounded bloody awsome on 4 lol

Hi ive recently had new ball joints fitted. when i fitted the hubs and fitted the new arms i noticed that the joints move around very easily. Is this correct or are they supposed to be stiff to stop the rear wheel from moving? Thanks Dan

Whilst out today fixing a hole in my sump and painting some of the underbody, I prodded what I though was just loose flaky rust, next thing I know I have a huge gaping hole along the whole sill. I have skirts on, so its hard to tell, if this is the side of the sill or the actual bottom of the sill itself. So...three questions - 1 - Is this fixable, can it be welded and if it can be welded, is it a huge job costing many hundreds? 2 - If welding is possible, will the skirt need removing? 3 - How safe is this, is my drivers side floor likely to drop out; killing me? Thanks all.

Now that my Zed is finally up and running, I have noticed a reluctance in selecting second gear. (bulks for a second or so with a slight roughness) bit of a nuisance when trying to show off :whistling: It does seem to ease a little once warm though.:confused1: I was thinking of changing the oil in the hope that it may solve the problem, but I am reluctant too if it is not likely make any difference. (money being tight and all that.) Would I need to flush the gearbox before refilling with new oil? It probably has not been changed for the last 6 or 7 years, some of which have been off road.

Hi, so I finally got my Z on the road after far too long. I've never driven an automatic before so maybe it's just the way they are but it seems incredibly stupid to me. It seems intent on revving the engine up for no reason, it holds onto low gears for what seems like an eternity before shifting up, and it will downshift if you so much as breath on the accel pedal. Even if you just increase the throttle just enough to maintain speed up a hill it will drop down and rev pointlessly all the way until the top. Accelerating at a medium sort of pace seems a chore too, really slow or fast is fine but 'normal' speed seems to result in this no mans land of torque converter s…

Is it best to fit this as per the FAQ section on here? I've seen other more simple methods which say just tee into the boost gauge feed. Can anyone confirm its 6mm vacuum hose I need? and how much to order? Cheers:confused1:
