After a couple of rad flushes, decided to attempt to flush the engine block via the top hose. Once the hose was off I noticed that the top part of the plastic connection to the radiator had broken off. Is there a quick fix or will I need a new rad?:sweatdrop:

hi new to the zeds and mine has alot of play in the steering wheel. when you pull it it has some forward travel and some play pulling it left and right. I have checked where it bolts on and all i can see is the two triangle blocks that attach the steering wheel to the console. is it spose to be like this? cant find a good picture or diagram of how its ment to be (even on the online manual)

ive had a oily grease on my wheels that I was unable to get off, tried wonder wheels, turtle wax, etc and nothing worked. Was about to ask you show cars how to clean them properly when I saw a bottle of Mr Muscle on the kitchen worktop.. Wheels are sparkling, the kitchens a f**@ing mess, but worth it..lol

Put so much time effort and money (like pretty much all of us) into my Zed and got it looking/driving sweet. Really wanted to show it off at JAE this year, otherwise what's the point?? Only us loonies 'get' why we do it after all!! Life has got in the way this year sadly so i'll just have to look forward to the pics and banter threads. To all of you that are there or will be heading there I hope you have a fantastic time and revel in meeting new and old friends alike. Talk zeds and mankinis 'til the sun comes up :rockon: Take as many pics as you like, us non attendees are counting on you :thumbup1: Daffy.

As above, I've got a set of Works Meisters on the Zed that are desperately in need of a refurb. Can anyone suggest/recommend someone that'll be able to take a look at Most companies won't go near 3pc, but refurbing them is going to be far far cheaper than replacing them. Cheers

ere is the recent tech day I organised this month. We ended up with around 8 - 10 Zs for the day and everyone enjoyed getting together after a long break between events. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1206004#post1206004 The plan for the day was to take the plenum off, to check for an oil leak I had developed at the back of the engine and also check one of the heater hard pipes in the same area for coolant leaks. I know Bryan (my mechanic) probably hated me for asking this but I made an extra request for a EGR removal while the plenum was off and to my surprise, Bryan accepted the challenge without hesitation. Upon removal of the plenum we discov…

So i have removed the front shocks from my tt that had really bad tyre wear which I thought to be camber from sagging front springs, Now that I have them out is there a way to check for this? What should the springs measure or should I get new springs to be sure Also how do I bench test the dampers? There is resistance as they go up and down, but once pushed right down the don't come back up again? Is this ok or do i also need to change the dampers?

Hi peeps, finally after a year off the road my rebuild is coming to an end. This list is the stuff I have spend out on the new engine to be swapped for my old overheating lump. Could someone with real knowledge please give me an overall spec for this list and give advice on a decent tuning company to get the most bhp without leaning out on stock internals. Thanks. A few pics of the original buy, plus all the new stuff done at the end of the list. Hope you enjoy as much as I have putting money into this beast. =0] --- New Replacement Engine/Turbos 25,000 miles only: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Idlers, cam belt, wat…
