hello everyone. I am from lithuanian and i do very big project. I want put vg30dett engine in bmw e30. i find this forum because, I dont have information about this engine. how many hp I can do with ms2 compiuter with stock engine? I want to know about peformance parts? I want do about 600hp.and i dont have infmation what to do, what engine pats buy.... maybe you can help me? thanyou for yours answers:smartass:

hi just asking what others on here have done to replace the wiper arms or refurb them , ....looked at buying OEM new but ...expensive !! is doing the windscreen trim and targa trims difficult ...i did ask the body shop to do this when teh car was re sprayed but they just didnt do it by the look of it ( only have photos ) dont have he zed back yet...anyway loking for a winter project asits just round the corner .....ive missed out on all the summer zed action again :(

ive had a oily grease on my wheels that I was unable to get off, tried wonder wheels, turtle wax, etc and nothing worked. Was about to ask you show cars how to clean them properly when I saw a bottle of Mr Muscle on the kitchen worktop.. Wheels are sparkling, the kitchens a f**@ing mess, but worth it..lol

Put so much time effort and money (like pretty much all of us) into my Zed and got it looking/driving sweet. Really wanted to show it off at JAE this year, otherwise what's the point?? Only us loonies 'get' why we do it after all!! Life has got in the way this year sadly so i'll just have to look forward to the pics and banter threads. To all of you that are there or will be heading there I hope you have a fantastic time and revel in meeting new and old friends alike. hi all just a quicky prob done something silly, i fitted a new tps (i have an auto and the gear change was sloppy) it fixed the gear change but now the car idles at about 1700-2k rpm i set the tps at .47v at closed throttle is this correct? cheers again for the help nick

Hi all, Can anyone give me an idea in how hard it is to fit the clutch and gearbox with the engine already in place? I dont want to be removing the engine again as i heard this is the better way. Is it possible if i get the car high enough in the air? Thanks Dan

why would my p/s belt be bursting under accelaration this is the 3rd in 2 weeks..the pump is fine and lining up correctly

As above, I've got a set of Works Meisters on the Zed that are desperately in need of a refurb. Can anyone suggest/recommend someone that'll be able to take a look at Most companies won't go near 3pc, but refurbing them is going to be far far cheaper than replacing them. Cheers

ere is the recent tech day I organised this month. So i have removed the front shocks from my tt that had really bad tyre wear which I thought to be camber from sagging front springs, Now that I have them out is there a way to check for this? What should the springs measure or should I get new springs to be sure Also how do I bench test the dampers? There is resistance as they go up and down, but once pushed right down the don't come back up again? Is this ok or do i also need to change the dampers?

Hi peeps, finally after a year off the road my rebuild is coming to an end. This list is the stuff I have spend out on the new engine to be swapped for my old overheating lump. got me Brembo's think originally off R33, but once i started to clean them up came across some problems so thought ask all the questions before i go any further. 1. As you can see from the pics the dust seals are cracked/split so where can i get a seal kit to service them and is there a how to so i can do it myself? 2. The front brake disc's look pretty shot and i think i read the minimum thickness for changing them is 28mm both are around 24.46mm! so i need a pair of fronts which i think are 324x30x54? the rears are around 20.73mm dont know what they should be!
