Hi All, What do you think of this price £470? About 4 1/2 hrs labour and the belt kit is £214? Really don't fancy doing it myself but that seems expensive??

Coming up to the A444/A5 junction for the 300th time today the guy in front started to pull out with his wheel past the line, i looked right and kept going, he'd stopped and went straight into him :headvswal He's not taking it any further but i've now go to sort out my old silver NA. Split the lower bumper, pulled the wing away from the side and bent the light bracket slightly. Overall, it's fixable and hasn't damaged the metal part of the car but the wings are bonded in so means taking the side skirts off to rebuild the wing and probably near on £400-500 to repair and respray and by that point it's a case of is it worth respraying the whole car. Ah we…

Well Firstly HUGE thanks to Jeff, Jamie and Lynda Very strange problem developed..... Misfire at about 3.5k - 4k revs on full boost Wouldn't misfire if you didnt use full boost but just accelerated steadily through the rev range. The only saving grace was that the fault was hard whenever you used full boost Well, New Plugs, Change of Coil packs, Different ECU swap, swap MAFs, Boost leak test to 45psi, play around with O2 sensors all having no effect and nothing showing on Conzult when the zedworld laptop was taken for a fast trip on Jamies lap with Jeff driving it was becoming a head scratcher But true to their word they found it..... and it was a wel…

Mikey borrowed my engine crane to get his car sorted before JAE and I borrowed his mechanic abilities whilst he was stood on the drive  Had a nightmare with one of the downpipe bolts, I had to go out and buy a torx socket as some knobhead had changed the bolts and the nut was rusted to it! So between us we finally managed to get it undone which means I can carry on taking the engine out! he also told me some secrets to getting the engine out quicker, seems I go the long way round with some things lol. cheers mikey! :thumbup1:

Well came home today to find that my delivery had arrived. Some of you may recognise some of the engine/parts? its come along way from North Wales and I am really looking forward to stripping her down :blushing: I know it's going to be a long journey and an expensive one, but will be worth it eventually. I will start up a thread up in the "Journal" once my engine stand arrives (hopefully by the end of the week) and then I should have some more pictures to share. Until then :thumbup1:

Hi guys. I've fitted a new turbo kit but unfortunately it's designed for the US market and the oil feed lines do not allow for the stock oil pressure sender in the stock location. On US cars I believe it's fitted to the oil filter tree but having just slotted my engine back in it's pretty obvious that the steering rack gets in the way for RHD cars :-(. I've had to remove the sender again to get the engine in. I don't really want to fit an aftermarket gauge or sender, ideally I'd like some kind of adapter that would allow me to fit it back onto the LHS turbo oil feed where it comes out of the block, a banjo union with an additional 1/8 NPT take off would be ideal. Doe…

I understood that a re-gas on a Z32 will need some extra work to run on the newer type gas, but I also read the new gas should be in vehicles post 1994 .... so would my JDM 95 model just need a straight recharge or a complete overhaul ? Is it easy to access ? (ok maybe thats optimistic :p)

As above i have recently fitted Japspeed stainless manifolds and i have the common issue of the O2 sensor blank in the wrong place, ie> its designed for the left hand drive car and so i now have some slight scoring on the steering shaft. There have been a few members, Slick pete and Hellraiser to name a couple that have fitted these and i wanted to know how you got over the problem. If im going to take a hammer to something, will the manifold crack? bend the steering rod? Before i start searching, would be good to have a definitive answer. Many thanks Graham

It would appear that I've started to buy everything that I sold last year all over again!!! Anyway my question is: What are the pros and cons of using a set of quality sillicon pipes (eg. SAMCO intake pipes) over equivelent hard pipes (eg. injen) and vice versa same question for radiator pipes and upgraded smic pipes cheers fellas

Weird problem on the way home from work tonight. I set the temp to 40 on the aircon pod and normally i would start to feel some heat after 5 mins of driving. It was only blowing c.old air. equally to that my internal temp guage was sat on the C and didnt even budge!! Gave the car a good rag and still nothing. when i got home i lifted the bonnet and felt the rad and it felt only luke warm... any ideas?? Thermostat possibly?? Car running fine apart from that!

if you are running with hubcentric spacers the spacesaver will not fit . i learnt this today while refurbing my wheels . done the rears fine but when i tried to swap the fronts over i found out they wouldnt sit on the hubs due to the spacer bolts . ive never gave it a thought before but tomorrow im out for a can of emergency tyre repair to carry in case of front puncture until i can get some shims made up that fit over the spacer bolts .
