Due to indicated speeds I was entertaining the idea that possibly my car had a N/A diff. But, seeing as my car has HICAS, surely that confirms it is a TT diff? At 4k rpm my speedo shows just under 100mph - which is what lead me to believe that it was a N/A diff. I'm thinking its more likely to be a speedo discrepency? Which means I'm probably going a little quicker than I actually think? Am I right that only the TT diff has HICAS? Cheers

On the way back from the MOT on Saturday I realised that my mileometer is not working. I looked under the car and I could see some loose wires and I also know my reverse light has never worked since I converted from auto to manual. Does any one know of any decent photos showing which wire are what on the manual box and what the connect to on a auto to manual conversion? Thanks in advance, Andy

Im not happy with it, help :( Everything on the car is brand new and on some bends i get a twitchy bum as if it wants to come round. I dont know if my set up is to good and the back is to grippy, you turn in the you feel the bum turn in like 4wd (got no hicas) The car has been on hunter system so it is set up properly. can cambers do this, i have 2.3 degree on the rear and 1.5degree on the fronts. I was wondering about slighly streched tyres. i have 265's on a 10"wide rim. the rear pressures are 34 psi and i was thinking of putting them down to 28/30 where i have always had them. so i can get more tyre on the road Problem i have is i cannot change…

Looks like it's over, could do with a little internet diagnosis to confirm it! Last week on a quick motorway run I had a nice friendly chap in an Evo come by to tell me there was something wrong with my car. I slowed down and then the temp started to rise, so put the heaters on full and it dropped, a mile or two later I'm on the slip road and drop the window slightly to here a rattle which I figured was the other car - it wasn't! Anyway the rattle (can only describe it as diesel like) would disappear at certain revs. Anyway, got home and popped the bonnet to see some oily residue on the fuse block (pass side above the headlight). Next day I tried to put som…

I have owned two zeds now for just under 2 years and today was the first time i've drove a zed with a normal shifter. When i mean normal i mean a normal manual with a standard oem shifter. My first zed was an NA with a short shifter and my TT was originally an auto but when doing the conversion i put a short shifter on as thats what i was used too. Well i was having some issues changing gears with the one fitted so i decided to hunt out the normal shifter i got from vody as part of a conversion kit and fit that instead. What a differance - simply couldn't believe how smooth the gears now change ! i took me a good hour or so to fit the oe…

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being that a cack handed spanner biff could do it, 10 being professional mechanics only) 1. I've got a 95' spec fuel rail with Nismo 740cc injectors fitted in the LWB and I was wondering, how easy/difficult would it be to do a direct swap (on my driveway) for the stock rail/injectors that are currently in the shortie'? 2. Forged internals and turbo/s swap is an engine out job, no alternative (yes/no)? 3. The AEM EMS that I have, used to be fitted to the same zed that the forged engine came out of, Could I fit the AEM EMS to the shortie' before it's driven up to Protuner for its re-map or should it be swapped once up t…

For anyone interested in the 'nismo' (I'm skeptical as to whether they are a genuine item or not) here's my home made versions using the stock ones, admittedly they're not carbon copies, but this cost £10 the other ones from the US are looking closer to £90 with shipping and probably more after import tax. these can be seen here at CZP: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=1072&Car_Type=300&UID=2011082711150890.216.226.222 You only need a few bits really, the indicators themselves (tend to come stock :) ) and some tinting spray. In all fairness this is essentially just diluted black spray paint and you can use just standard black pa…
