Gents i have had my car tracked and 4 wheel aligned countless times from the same garage and its always spot on :confused1: but im getting serious tyre wear on the inner edges of the front tyres im using continental sport contact3 225/45/18 and there is at least 6mm across the whole tyre exept for the inner edges looks very worn not far to go till i hit the canvass? what can it be? the tracking is within spec & the camber is also within spec the bottom arm is polly bushed but i get serious judderring when breaking this is down to the top camber arms im sure, is this that is causing the tyre wear, and why if the camber arms are worn is it not…

got them back from autoshine yesterday and am over the moon with them! they are enkei racing really lightweight wheels needed lots of work because all four wheels had kerbing and you cant find a mark on them now had them done gloss black! :thumbup: dan.:thumbup1:

Just trying to get the prop off the subframe but having dramas as it's still fitted to the subframe/diff. I have a wreckers bar fitted with the correct type of socket/bit but is there a particular method for removing it as it rotates freely? cheers fellas

Went to see my carbon fiber guys today about getting my new rear light panel ready for JAE. Imagine my displeasure when I see it no where near ready and the guy who runs the workshop floor is on holiday until next Tuesday!!! At this point I decide to take out my frustrations on one of the guys and tell him (in between varoius profanities) that I am going to rip his head off when I see him on Tuesday. The young chap is by now very apologetic and acting very sheepish. At this point the owner of the business comes over and invites me into the office to explain to me that the workshop manager is off for a cancer operation. I am such a bad person. Ligh…

For the electrical/audio minded people i currently have a humming in the speakers when the engine is on and this alters with RPM. Now it wasnt there before so has to be something recent that has been fitted maybe. Could it either be that i have a RPM signal wire that goes to nowhere currently as it was for the 4in tacho or could it be that the RMP signal wires for the Bee R pass over the speaker wires behind the stereo? Its another one of those pains i have to sort but i dont really wanna have to cut the Bee R wires out just to see if it goes away. Also have RPM signals for the Apexi rev meter and HKS turbo timer passing over the same direction. Cheers …

Managed to drain the coolant system via the drain cock at the base of the rad, a bit brown and had a bit of sediment in it. Flushed it through with the use of a hose pipe until the water ran clean. Trouble is, I can only see this flushing the rad itself.:confused1: Should I have removed the drains from the each side of the block? I am struggling to convince myself that I have actually flushed the engine at all!! There must be a better way? surely.:helpsmilie:

Just bought another Zed TT lwb auto black with leather no mot or tax ...electrics issue since an attempted theft.... Collect on Saturday and will post pics to see if anyone knows it.

seem to have a airlock on my drivers side turbo bypass water pipe, when the cars up to temp and you switch the ignition off, you can hear it bubbling any ideas how to get it cleared. i cant take the pipe off and fill with water as all it does is leak out of the pipe it connects too.

I'm just curious, has anyone fitted a different internal mirror to the normal zed one??

Hi Guys, are any of you having problems with your hid`s flickering? I had just one side that kept flickering a few months back, but now both are flickering soon after lights on and then they just go off!! If I turn the switch off and then back on again then they do the same thing, ....light up...flicker for a few seconds... then go out :(((, yes they were cheap e-bay jobbies,. but only 12 months ish old any fixes i can do? , or anywhere i can buy spare ballasts?(if that is the problem) Cheerz Daz

Hi All my water pump decided to eat itself at the weekend so it needs replacing. ive dropped it at a garage to do that I know as I spent ALL weekend on it putting divorced downpipes on n full japspeed stuff back. he has said itll be - 120 labour 68 for pump and 15-20 for belt. All sounds about right to me I just wanted to check. I would usually do this but I REALLY cant be bothered especially with the state my hands are in from doing the driver side top bolts on the turbo elbows. gotta be a bloody contortionist to do em!!
