Would just like to say a big thankyou to kinugawa for a superfast delivery and very easy transaction in my purchase of a tt engine. Was delivered in under 24hrs from london to doncaster. And when i stripped it down found it to have been bored out with oversize forged pistons :-).

So the ebayer below, Zeaston 2001 sells Zparts Next a snap shot of their feedback sold an ecu to a buyer lockinggarageservices. So we can see lockinggarageservices also deal in Zparts But here in their feedback Zeaston 2001 purchases a range rover leather seat. So nothing wrong, well of course the two ebayers are the same person closer look at the feedback suggests the purpose is to bid up auction prices, stop parts been sold too cheaply if not enough bidders, or maybe build good feed back. Either way this is is against E-bay rules let alone been dodgy and misleading but worst of all its is a member on here. :no…

Hey lads, lads! Some bloke was talking about my 300, he used to have one. He reckoned it was a good idea to pour some (maybe half a pint?) of clean oil down into each sill as this would stop corrosion. He reckoned there was a good place you could get access just by the rear seat if you pulled the trim back a bit. What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Anyone done it? Thanks in advance!

Had my ECU chipped by John yesterday, he's really knowledgeable and gave me lots of advice. He even came out in the car and set up my boost controller. It's made a nice difference to the car. Cheers John, it was good to meet you.

After months of the thing cluttering up my house finally got round to fitting my single piece prop shaft today. Only problem i noticed was that the new shaft had 2 master splines, where as the gearbox output shaft didn't seem to. Ended up getting it on ok (after lowering the diff) and after getting it all back together pulled it off the lift and the difference was instantly noticeable, the hole car just seemed so much smoother (the centre bearing on the old prop was horrendous, the play on it was unreal). Couple of meters down the road, noticed a reasonably high pitched whining/tapping noise, it was in time to the speed of the car, i.e. didn't increase/decrease with …

I have for some time had fluctuating oil preasure, I am going to take car on a 4 hour drive tomorrow. Oil preasure on start up is just short of half way on standard gauge, then within 5 minutes it is down near 0 on tickover, then back up to about 1/4 then back near 0, it is all over the place. I have checked oil and all seems fine...........WTF is going on I wonder!!!!!

I'm not a mechanic and I'm obviously learning as I go along but is this normal? Turbo #1 looks pretty normal but Turbo #2 doesn't look quite right with this random bolt going through the housing 'but' from the inside! it's clearly a bolt from somewhere else (it's green for one). Surely this should be threaded from 'outside' the housing and not from inside? or am I way off??

This may be a simple job but I can not see how to remove the headlight unit. I am having trouble adjusting the low beam spots so would like to remove the whole unit so as to see what the problem might be. Can anyone help explain how this is done please?
