  1. right i started my new job with Nissan today nothing fancy im just running their parts dept, but on looking around in the storage car park i found a white TT auto zed just sitting their, apparently it was kept after the owner couldn't pay for the repairs and actually belongs to the garage now. they have done most of the work before it got stored, found the only fault (apart from being put back together is the main oil galley is block (not flowing right) on one bank, descried as a fluttering noise whilst running, any idea on fixing it, id hate to leave it their the old owner was a body shop guy its mint (apart from a years worth of dirt. )

As i burst my second braided hose last week (and z centre are taking the piss sending me a new one) I have being thinking about changing the layout. I have a single hose from the master to the slave and unfortunately it is running dangerously close to the exhaust/turbo's. I know there is a few bits "trunking" to run the hose through to keep it away, but i still think it's a pretty shit system. My initial idea was to somehow get a longer hose and reroute it a completely different way, however i came to the conclusion that it would have to be custom made and may well be more chew than its worth. So after speaking to the ever helpful zedworld team, the idea was put in my hea…

Am almost finished rebuilding my new engine, but would like some help with doing a egr delete, and water bypass. I only have this evening available to do this and then not got any chance to do much more for the next 3wks :-(. So if anyone local has done this and could spare some time to help then it would be a great help. Thankyou. dave.

Unfortunately im considering selling the zed, I dread to think how much Ive spend on her but its over 10k in the last 2 years as theres very little that I havent replaced or upgraded, and she needs very little now to make her just about perfect, Engines running sweet as a nut just needs zedworld to give her the once over and get the AVCR setup. she has 12months 12 months tax. Looking at a new house and work is so busy. I havent completely made my mind up yet I just wanna get a feel for what its worth, I know ill loose a fortune. Take a look in my rides for full specs. All thoughts welcome. Cheers Craig

Hi Guys My Z originally had Koni Shocks with Eibach lowering springs. Then when i had a Z-Centre body kit fitted Strosec front bumper and wide arches the front bumper was too low. So decided to buy a set of Tein monoflex coilovers with EDFC. Now could alter the ride height. My problem is at speed if i drive over a dip in the UK's quality roads, my offside tyre bottoms out against the GRP underneath of the wide arches. What is the best way to correct this? i do not want to make the gap bigger between top of tyre and top of arch. i have got two ideas not sure which is best for Tein setup. 1. Tighten up ring supporting the spring, this i believe would increase …

Well i took my zed off the road 2 months ago so that i could change the plenum, plenum by pass, injector plugs, coil plugs, rocker cover gaskets and few other jobs. Anyway i have just finished putting it back together and turned the key and as expected its not running right. It runs, just, but back fires. I have not reved it as i dont want to break it. Im guessing i have a coil plug on the wrong coil or something? i numbered all the injectors up so i think there right. Anyone know what i have more than likely done wrong? Oh i have not set the tps correct yet as i need to order a conzult cable and disk would this cause it not to idle and missfire? any help …

I had a few runs at santa pod again this weekend and have now had my fill of the quarter mile at least until TOTB next year anyway :) I managed a best 12.25 quarter and my best terminal speed was 129.84 which bodes well for the topspeed run at TOTB. I think not too bad for a road legal car which is set up for handling rather than the strip. Will probably be going to silverstone for an open pitlane event in mid december if anyones up for it.

Following on from sorting my boost leaks etc on Thursday I went back to Lee Dents place today and changed the plugs, oil and filter and the fuel filter and Lee re-wired my rear lights and run me through ditching my egr pipes and aav (think thats right) pipes and re-plumbed the boost controller pipes as they were like spaghetti!!!. The end result is now my engine bay looks tidier and shes now running even sweeter Turns out shes also got custom downpipes fitted, as well as the rest of the system, so happy days Thanks again to Lee, cheers mate :)

Ok so this has been done a billion times, but screw it, the last few days I've heard some good ones, so here's my latest: 1. Look mum, a ferrari! 2. That looks just like Knight Rider! 3. How do you get it to make that "ptsch" noise? 4. Your cars are both awesome mate! (little 5/6 year old who sees both cars regularly when dropping Michael off) Kids adore it and are quite open about the fact, but the truth is, the adults lust after it, when we're working on one car or another here, the garage faces onto this little side road and people are forever walking up and down it, the guys all slow down and look the cars way :D
