Whilst ive got it all apart thought i might just put some breather filters and a catch tank on, if its beneficial ofcourse. Do people run them on these cars or is it a bit pointless? Mark

After picking my Z up, I've had a little play and found some problems with it; * Turbo whine when hot only - I tried mid temperature and it didn't make any noise at all * Speedometer not working at times, then it comes back to life intermittantly * Power steering going heavy and HICAS light coming on - been told it could be down to the auto gearbox sensor being damp - common problem? * No rear fog lamp - how easy is it to rewire one into the centre light panel? I also have a couple of switches, one which looks like a damper and another on the gearbox (not on the lever itself), and I'd just like to know what they're for. Thanks, Rachel.

Hi all, I cant seem to find a guide to replacing shocks. I've got a set of KYB's to go on and want to read up on it first before I wade in and cock it up LOL. Any guides or just a brief how to would be great. Many thanks, Rob Oh and by the way, less than a month to go now woop woop LOL.

had a close call today, took it really easy on a 10 mile drive back from cardiff earlier, but couldnt resist giving it a bit of welly on the final straight home. if only i had checked my mirror before i did! blue lights followed me up the road, and i was pulled. "wot the hell was that all about "he said, desperatly trying to hide the grin from my face from the rocket propulsion i had just had, i got out and appologised. a quick breath test later (all clear amazingly) and a *****cking and i was back on the road. got caught doing 73 in a 60 zone a few months ago and am waiting to go on a speed awareness course (to avoid the 3 points). so................…

Mikey and I (Mostly Mikey) fitted the Brembo grooved discs which were originally on my car and the steering rack we picked up this morning from Bazs today. Last night we cleaned up and tightened up her handbrake shoes too, so she now has a handbrake, no wobble in the steering (There was over an inch of play in the old rack) and no wobble or vibration on braking (Warped disc and originally a loose calliper):D  :thumbup1: :punk:  So now it's sounding right (Exhaust replaced), it's driving right (brakes and rack replaced, but still needs suspension replacing because the shocks are shot) and she's well and truly getting on with her boot install. Just need …

As per title, I'm trying to get some real world info on Greddy smic's for the zed *I've got a Greddy 3 row fmic for the LWB but I'm going to continue running a smic setup on the shortie'* I've seen the thread where a few different manufacturers smic's specs are listed but can't recall ever seeing Greddy smic's on the list, though I know they are available from the States I'm looking to compile a spec list for future reference of the various smic options available today, to record real world performance gains, in addition to dimensions/quality etc: - Stock smic's - PACE smic's - HKS smic's - STILLEN smic's - Z1 smic's - ARC smic's -…
