I played with my original which was red with a half hearted attempt at lighting it up (I know you can buy them) but I messed it up, took all the red off the inside which made it clear or just glass but I wasn't happy thereafter. So starting searching the old ebay and found this OEM part from the USA for the 350z, it's the 35th anniversary badge/emblem so is allowed to be used on the Z32, slightly bigger than our stock one just enough to hide any gunk on there from the removal of the old one  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230685798230 Then you will need these inserts as I thought the black a little bland looking (you get two …

I am going to Cadwell Park Saturday 22nd to do a track day. It's a great track for motorbikes but might be a little bit tight for the zed. Still what the hell eh be good to put the car through it's paces again :) So if any of you northern boys (or girls) are up for it be good to see you there.

Another stupid question..:scared::confused1: Finding it really difficult to get air into the tyres because the valves are so close to the alloys. You cannot get the air pump attached. Janus mentioned there is usually a plastic attachment in the car you can clip on to the valve and extends it?? What tips of you Guys got? And no I will not blow them up by mouth:tt2::tt2:

According to Wikipedia the curb weight of my hard top 2 seater twin turbo is or was 1,501 kg, when I went on the track day I was able to weigh it myself and it was 50kg above this Now before you say it I did leave my wallet in the car but surely not 50kg worth  Fifty pound notes weigh pretty much the same as twenties :whistling: Amps have been added, bigger brakes, exhaust may be weightier, all my led mods!!!!, 30lts fuel, front strut brace, etc, so yeh probably about right at 1555kgs

right after changing the rad thermostat and the rubber front water pipes, ive worked the air out the system and run it upto pressure so far so good. except for one problem, i noticed a drip coming from the bottom of the engine, after some inspection, i came to the conclusion that the upper aluminium water pipe is leaking. where it meets the block, there wasnt a gasket in there so i didnt refit one.... is there suppose dto be? ive used a product called gas tite which was recommended to me fo rthe purpose, i think some of it came off in the process, i left it for about half hour before filling the system up. i did all the others the night before. some where ive cocked up, a…

Well after working on my zed for past couple of weeks im now a bit stuck. I have put a new engine wiring loom in done a water by pass new plenum gasket cleaned all the injector connectors and all other plugs i can get at. Anyway i now have lumpy idle and the zed does not like to start when its cold? It was starting fine before i changed the loom but had a miss fire which has now gone. Any ideas whats causing it not to start? Also it seems to be using a lot more fuel than it used to?? Has a s2 ptu is a 92 tt new engine loom had temp sensor 6 months ago Code 55 on conzult Do these zeds suffer from fuel pumps?

Clutch problems can have many causes but generally give some degree of warning before total failure but in this case the sudden inability to select any gears mid way through a journey was a little unusual and the most likely culprit would normally be the hydraulics in some way. However it was soon apparent there was a lot more going on inside of the bellhousing and so the box was whipped out and the damage to the clutch was obvious immediately with some of the cover fingers missing, and plate springs floating around too. With the unit removed more bits came tumbling out and the now the plate damage could be seen too, one of the double spings had r…

My little zed is nearly 20 years old now, I would like to improve the handling and I guess the suspension is where I should start. I do not want to have the car set up for track days etc as she is my daily run about (Summer only) so where would I best and economically spend my hard earned cash? Thanks.
