I'm treating the zed to a full respray. It is currently black but i'm bored of it now. I want to go for a full colour change. I've been humming and hawwing for a while now and still cant make up my mind. I fancied something like mercedes palladium silver but im worried it may look a bit dull. So... Any pics for inspiration would be great. Doesnt have to be a zed. I dont want 'in your face'. I'm after different but classy. No lambo orange. No yellow. No lime green. No camellion double super sparkle glitter flip. :) Thanks

Hi guys, My waterpump has failed couple of times lately, used second hand pump, But it keeps failing since i put a chipped ecu on it (central 20) and im starting to think it could be something to do with the raised rpm limit, Held it in 2nd once and it went to nearly 90mph and not sure exactly has it was a while back but somewhere between 8 and 9,000 rpm, Obviously i aint holding it that far anymore but if your in 1st or sometimes 2nd and you power it up and it spins up, i have noticed before i have had time to let off the revs have raised pretty high, cant really watch revs to see how high more worried about if im still going straight or round in circles l…

Looks like the stock clutch on the shortie' may well be on its way out as it's started slipping recently, so a few questions fellas, if I may: 1. I've got an old spare Exedy twin plate clutch that Marty kindly gave me when he dropped off the shortie', it just needs a new plate/s. Can you buy replacement plates for an Exedy twin plate clutch or do you have to buy a complete clutch package? 2. The Centreforce clutch off my old LWB (which was supposed to be replaced with a new Z1 clutch by a certain garage but we won't go there...) was in good order when it was run on my old zed, if the Exedy isn't an option would it be worth fitting the Centreforce clutch…

Well, just noticed after more than a week I have a turbo timer  I know it's not really recommended, but when I set it, I can't remove the key until the engine has stopped running. Is there anything I can do so that I can remove the key? I don't know if it's been wired in correctly though.

hi folks, its been about 3 years since i was last on here. Moved on to other cars and bikes but never sold it. My Z32 has been parked up beside the house for a couple years now and ive been having a rummage through the spares ive collected. I came across a spare socketed turbo ECU i bought on ebay before i got my MINES. when i took the lid off it, its been socketed, but theres a 'sub board' between the EEPROM and the main board socket. The long, narrow chip has had the numbers 'sanded' off for some reason. ive never seen this before. all the others ive seen, the chip is plugged straight into the main boards socket. im wondering what it is about this chip that it…

Can someone tell me how to put the HICAS into diagnostic mode, and the best way to bleed it? I have had my subframe off, and need to bleed it, something I don't really want to do with the wheels/prop/driveshafts spinning next to my fingers! Cheers, Tudor...

Hyperthetically speaking, of course.... A pearl-white 300zx, 1991 model on a H plate... 3.0 V6 NA covered 83,000 miles, with a TT manual gearbox conversion... Bodywork really tidy with no dints, scratches etc, already had new rear arches and sills, Fibreglass replacement spoiler, Fairly standard with tweed seats, standard wheels with R888s... Toad Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser, Induction Kit, Aftermarket Exhaust, clear repeaters... Looks like this: Please let me know what you would value it at, could be the difference between another Z getting saved or not... lol :thumbup1:

Not really used Cruise Control much, I have tried it once or twice but not sure if it is working correctly. Could someone explain the fundamental workings please and how to operate them? I imagined that when travelling at say 80MPH I would press the "Set Coast" button and the cruising speed would then be set? When I try this the speed drops away as soon as I lift my foot. The only way I can seem to set the cruising speed is by repeatedly pressing the same button. As for the other buttons????
