My interior is out while im having welding done. The black leather seats are in good condition, but have a few deepish scratches, not through the leather more like the black of the leather if that makes any sense. I have been looking at dye's to hide these, as in fill the scratch, and buff to match. dont want to have to redo the whole seats, anyone have any recommendations on stuff used.

Well i finally got some spare time today and after the delay of lost bolts ive got my excedy clutch fitted. oooh its a happy feeling when it gets a bit further to being done. But im gonna have to wait till i can get some help to refit the gearbox as its a bit big and heavy to try doing it alone in limited space. But happy days are coming once more :-).

Hi guys, Need your help again. Decided to put my set of UK clocks that I'd tarted up with some EL dials, put it back together and the speedo reads zero and the milometer stays at the same reading. It used to have KM clocks with I'm led to believe a speed converter thing, not 100% sure on that as it wasn't accurate. Driving it back to the UK tomorrow so could do with it lol. On a serious note is it required to be working for an MOT? Cheers

Sorry, not really yet another SWB TT offset vs arch rolling question I'm afraid: ET +16 (11.5") wide on rear would rolling of the rear arches suffice or will these rims require the fitting of wide arches/overfenders etc? thanks

Just been to collect AWSOOOOOME new interior, all tweed panels will soon be a distant memory and cant wait to get this all fitted. All trimmed in White and Bayside Blue Connelly Hide, not vinyl or pvc and with Bayside Blue stitching, Here's a few taster pictures, haven't got time to put pics of all the bits, but these few should give you an idea of how it will look and what good workmanship this guy does. If anyone wants details of this guy, i cannot recommend him enough so just pm me for details and he is doing special introductary prices for the club members. Cheerz Chris

Having just fitted the Tailgate trim I think I am missing a bit! If you open the tailgate there are 2 side trim pieces which run towards the inside if the car and the bit I am missing would join these 2 pieces up running horizontally along the edge closest to the inside of the car. Is there meant to be a piece of trim there or am I imagining it?

Im looking to fit UK instruments to my 97 TT. I think they went from analogue to digital instruments on the later models, maybe even the last UK ones. My model; year they dropped the boost guage for some bizarre reason, anyone know how i can wire this if i manage the uk dials? Question is, does anyone know what UK clocks will fit my car, or can i just change the speedo, rather than the whole instrument cluster? Sure someones done it, or the wiring mods? Cheers Matt

Hi guys, After fitting all the suspension bits I decided to finish a job I started.... remove all the old speaker cables. Came across this metal box (below). As you can see its fed direct from the ECU and ends up at a toggle switch. The switch was behind the panel under the steering wheel. I've toggled it and nothing happens. I have a thing about wiring so want rid of it. Cheers, Rob

Probably not the best way to repair a peeling dash but it's what I've got. There are broken pegs all over, and I have to watch out if I walk past incase one fires off at me lol At least it's easier out of the car. Getting the main lifted area was quite straight forward, I'm attaching the very edge now to try to get pinned down perfection :)

evening All, As most of you know ive only very recently purchased m 1990 Z32 Uk Manual TT. After noticing a strange kind of chirping sound (LOL not the dump valves before someone says :tt2:) it happens worse when cold and goes after 3000 revs. Now it sounds a bit like air escaping or fluttering through a pipe etc, but i dont seem to have any compression issues best i can tell and almost completely goes when the engine is warm...... Anything to worry about do you think?? Second thing is, im about to do an oil change so i thought id jack her up and see what size sump nut etc and a general whats what.... I had previously noticed an oil smell…

Well...sadly my Zed is now SORNED and sitting on my dads drive (wouldn't last long on mine). I have a 2.0 Galant estate which is different, very roomy and comfortable (except for the amazingly high accelerator pedal...my Achilles tendon is an inch longer now!), but it ain't no Zed. Next year the welding begins on the big nightmare hole discovered underneath. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=154249 So wondered if anyone can suggest a MIG welder. I've had a little Oxy-Acetylene welding experience, but that's about it. My dad is buying it, he intends to weld all kinds of thing. Looking at around £250, with the ability to weld larger g…

Hi Guys, Ok, so this post was going to be "another Zed back on the road" type thing. It's a long story that I won't bore you with right now, but after six years of sitting in my garage, I've finally got the Zed fixed. Almost... It's had two new turbos, water pump, clutch, engine mounts, cam belt and tensioners. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago and it felt amazing, I felt confident that nothing would let me down as there's nothing left to go wrong. (I know, I know......!) So after about 30 miles, I noticed the temperature gauge quickly rising. Stopped and got it recovered only to find no water in the cooling system. The garage took it back, pressure test…
