http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300-ZX-SPARES-REPAIRS-/330647146920?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cfc1b11a8 Been on for 12 hours and its already had 15 bids, reserve not met at £640. It strikes as though he has people 'bidding it up' then if a genuine buyer puts a bid in he's going to send a second chance offer. Something just isnt adding up, or is it just me lol  Ok its got nice wheels but they are probably damaged, at the end of the day its a knackered bent NA...

As above, on way home tonight I noticed a puff of smoke in the headlights of the car that was close behind as the old girl came on boost.did accelerate quite sharply so am wondering if this is due to the fuelling spiking as it comes on boost and running rich.doesnt smoke any other time and both exhausts are quite sooty, but its like dry soot not oily soot if that makes sense :)

So yeah, like a bunch of muppets, we put the drivers window down before we started breaking the car, but not the passenger one. Now we're looking to strip down the passenger door and the window is up, the fuses are all out, battery out, fuse box out etc. So it isn't really a possibility to plug all of that back in, lol. Is it possible somehow to get the window down without taking the door card off and without power? HELP PLEASE  lol Is it acceptable maybe to just cut the connector for the window controller and run 12v across it to open the window, or is the window motor going to blow up? lol

Morning all I have the OEM foamy type spoiler on my Zed which I would quite like to remove for a cleaner look. I know how to remove this... im just wondering what im going to be left with after and how easy it will be to fill all the holes etc and any panel gaps that are created. I think there are 6 holes that are created? do these need spot welding or can they be fillered? (I dont want anything to be a bodge) And then do I need a perspex panel for above the rear light panel? All help is greatly appreciated :) (as well as sarcasm :p)

As the title says really. Can't get the door catches off the breaker. The screws are well and truly in there and no matter what I try, they will not come undone. I can't find my impact screw driver either :gun_bandana: anyone removed these, anything I'm missing? Seems so simple with a phillips screw, but they just aint budging.

seen various larger disc options with relocation brackets to fit standard calipers. is it worth/beneficial to upgrade to larger front discs whilst retaining the standard calipers. i was thinking something like 345mm drilled and grooved discs, but my aim is to improve braking force/ stopping power. would be good to hear from people with bigger discs...... as they have experienced the change. thanks in advance

I love my 300zx, and i have put over 1000 hours into it. Alas, the alure of the origional z's is getting to me. 240z is out of my budget by a long shot. Was wondering if i could direct fit 240z tail light section into the 260z? Also if there was anything to be wary of. Here is the one i'm looking at: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/cars/nissan/auction-422328737.htm Any input greatly appreciated guys.

Hey guys, I have just bought myself my first 300zx this evening  which I will post up in the Newbie section as soon as its actually in my possession! The problem occurred when the transporter turned up to collect it we couldn't get it on his truck! The car is lowered and has a long front bumper and low back bumper and literally didn't stand a chance of getting onto the truck without destroying it. :cursing: Its also a non-runner so needs to be winched onto the trailer Does anyone know of a car transporter that has a very low trailer, based around London or Norwich which are the pick-up and drop off points? Unfortunately I don't have a vehicle wit…

I have a wiring diagram for both EURO and JSPEC. The JSPEC matched up perfectly when wiring up the ISO in my black n yellow one, but now I am trying to re-wire the stereo in the UK grey one. The diagram I have is pretty useless so I'm wondering if it was for a series 2 UK car, and the series 1 is totally different. Has anyone got experience with this, or a correct diagram that can help me out? I searched the forum first and didnt get anything. I dont want to wire thing thing up wrong :sweatdrop:

as title suggests, clutch is very audible when pressing the pedal, hope its not a sign that the master's on its way out. it was once an automatic if that makes any difference.

Hi guys, Got some Eibach 15mm Spacers, without them I can't fit my brembo brakes. The nuts are sitting to proud causing the wheels to not sit properly. Only realised after I fitted them and scuffed the back of the wheel. Doh! Had a look at Jeffs thread but didn't see a solution to the problem, as far as I'm concerned I haven't bought crappy parts and I am using the nuts that come with them. Cheers, Rob
