Hi, I'm trying to improve the low beam, I managed to clean off the projector lenses and set the height, but I can't seem to adjust them left/right which is a problem as they are way too far to the left atm. I read the manual and found this page http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=54&design=default&total=133 Those adjustments don't match up with what I have on the car though, maybe it's some kind of JDM difference, my car is an import. On that diagram there where it says left/right adjust, that actually adjusts the height and works well. There is …

Well, bank 2 turbo decided to eat some oil, and I'm in the hunt for a replacement or recondition. I'm wondering that if I were to get some T25's or T28's would they fit directly, or is there some modification needed? If it's an oil line or something similar, it's not too much of a problem, but if a new section of exhaust is required, I can't really do that right now :( If anyone can get back to me, it would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello, firstly, please don't kick me too hard for asking in the forums as I'm genuinely in a bit of a conundrum here. I brought my car across when I moved to the UK some years ago. Shortly after arriving, {ahem} I basically had no points left on my license which meant that insurance for the zed was rather high. Alas, I have never registered the car in the UK. It's only had minimal miles here basically from the shipping port to my home and a few little blats here and there on 'private' roads. You may ask, why did I bother to bring it across - well because the engine and (auto) transmission (1995) are mint and fully serviced (new belts, gearbox oil etc) …

Along with a whole raft of other modifications yet to execute on my car, I am also weighing up brake options. I was leaning towards the Akebono kit from Z1 which is 1600 (with my spec of options ticked) before import costs and duty. The advantage of this kit is the availability of off-the-shelf parts (the kit uses Infinity parts available through any Nissan dealer) at reasonable prices. The disadvantage is its only a 2 pot calliper and not a true sports brake kit, so may only be a fast road setup, rather than a track friendly one. I see now Japspeed are offering reasonable prices for D2 356mm 8pot front brake kits and 330mm 4 pot rear kits - 1700 quid all in. Has any…

Just got them:hyper:Hope you like them but they tick all the boxes for me deep dish, chrome, staggered fitment and I like my nuts hidden:lol: Some pic's but no tyres yet but put them on the zed to check fitment with 25mm front spacers and theyfit perfect. Need some help on tyre sizes the alloys are 18" 8 at front and 18" 9.5 rear I was thinking 245x40x18" front and 265x40x18" rear would that be right?

Anyone had a read of Banzai this month (orange AE86 on the front)? 3-4pages on JAE (no, not the infamous forum thread, surprisingly), every car club looked to get well represented - the honda fan buoys, Evo stalwarts and Scooby club were all treated to nice big pics.. What does the Zed fraternity get? One postage stamped size picture of that tidy yellow Zed (sorry, can't remember who's now) from behind. Typical. However, on the plus side - there was a really tidy Z31 with a VG30ET thing going on, so there was a little to celebrate! Have to say, Banzai is a fantastic mag overall though - keeps me entertained on the long, lonely, dark nights - sniff.

The series I gets foo-bared with high temps ( I believe), but can the series II PTU get cooked.... lets say, if in the wrong location, with affect from a high engine temp and in the wrong location? Got some issues with my 300, and just want to eliminate some avenues.... Hope this makes sense...... Alz.

I met RAYF500 when he came round to mine about 6 weeks ago but I forgot to take pics that day, he does come on here but not all that often. He only lives 20 mins away from me and will be good to know should something go wrong when my engine comes out very soon!!! Anyway he brought something round to mine on Sunday and I didn't make the mistake again. He has just had it resprayed and only recently got it back on the road, enjoying it very much again  This is his Mine and his together  Just thought I would share.
