Following my seized caliper issue back in February, I had a replacement fitted (big thanks to JeffTT), but recently I had noticed signs of a warped disc.... .....so I bought a set of Brembo stock replacement discs/pads for £100 all in and dropped the car off at my local garage last week for them to be fitted. However it transpired that the other caliper had now seized too.... So, rather than fanny about with another 2nd hand replacement, I managed to source a fullly reconditioned pair from the re-manufacturer for £300 delivered. With the option to return my old ones for a £50 rebate (I sent them back today....:winkiss:)..... ....and now the whole lot has be…

I ordered a Non brake light perspex strip off Luke a couple of years back but when I went to fit it I noticed that its the brake light version, result! How do I go about wiring it in to the uk loom? I am assuming that I need to find the correct wire in the loom for the tailgate and splice into that? Is that all or is there more to it? Also need the bulbs and holders are these just 501's?

right, for some reason. when my battery charge is low the passenger door wont lock, you can do it with akey but it doesnt work with the central locking when i arm the alarm. it does however unlock, and tahst been going on for a while which is fine normally soon as i drive it it charges upo and it works. but since my battery died when my alt died it is doing it constantly. the only time i stopped it when i drove the car every day when i was on holiday the other week. :s maybe the battery just needs a full charge up? any ideas guys? second one much easier is, is there a step by step gyuide for the manual conversion, ive collected the parts list and the wiring mod. …

Well, you'll know that I totally pulled apart my targa tops and put them back together again. I thought the only difference between the JDM and the UK was the brown vs blue tint (yep even in the roof lol), but it isnt. I just cleaned up the sun shades that I was going to keep, but they just cant fit. Theres a seemingly pointless but robust looking attachment on the roof panels that will not allow the shades to go in. Has anyone an idea what on earth these are for and moreso, if there are smaller shades in existence to fit around these. I dont really want to take them off.

I know we've had a few threads about HIDs and MOTs since the latest testing manual came out and I think we're all in agreement that it states, IF the unit has self levelling suspension and washers then they must work to pass...interpretation is that this means aftermarket ones are OK since they dont have those functions and cannot be tested and failed, plus they admit themselves that testing the self levelling function isn't really practical. However we've also had other discussions about MOT pass for other things (number of mirrors and placement for instance) which can still lead to you being pulled by the rozzers and given a ticket despite your fresh MOT in hand. …

Well think this should explain my over heating problem And...... to say the radiator was blocked is an understatement, about 3 channels halfway up and 5 at the top were available to get the water through, what gave it away was what A2zed (member of the Aus300zx site) mentioned that the bottom hose will collapse on its self if there is flow restriction, which it did when i got it to start over heating earlier (yes i know inducing over heating for the purpose of testing lol) So out came the old rad that sprang a leak, i was lucky that the leak was due to the clip system on th…

As per the title, the spec is perfect, leather, manual, etc but the sellers feedback is a big big worry for a prospective buyer, littered with unhappy folk. That said if this is straight enough, would be a good buy for just over 2 big ones. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-SWB-SLICKTOP-TWIN-TURBO-MANUAL-NISMO-WHEELS-SUPRA-SKYLINE-200SX-/250943983445?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a6d6d4f55#ht_754wt_932

The kids always find it amusing and typical when I get into this mode... doing several things at once, so the house has mid projects all over the place. Ive got a lot of plans for the dial surrounds. All will be painted in gunmetal grey with a splash of silver. Hopefully the Apexi turbo timer will turn up tomorrow so I can start integrating it into the dial surround. I'm also building onto the side of the pods to hold a 2" digital gauge on each side oil temp/boost. Yaye, the dials turned up today so typically the first thing I did was take them apart. So far I have that surround in primer ready to paint gunmetal/silver - probably tonight and ready for lacquer…
