Well after nearly 4yrs rebuilding the zx it was finaly ready to try turning it over for the first time, but no...... the damn thing didnt even try. Think its something related to the immobiliser. Have removed soo many things that was plugged in that i think its not allowing the immobiliser to work properly. So more delay in getting it done.

ive seen an auto box controller on an auto nissan largo ( supposidly the same auto thats on the zx n/a) and i was wondering if anyone knew a way of holding the box in gear so i can get the car mapped? ie hold the car in 3rd and floor it without the car kicking down?

These appear pretty cheap? can anyone tell me if the door window switches are supposed to be illuminated or not nrver really noticed till now mine are not

I’m not a great DIY person, but in my quest to remove my "table top" spoiler on my 93 zed, I need to remove the plastic internal side boot lid trims, but before I can do this, I believe I need to remove the hydraulic strut arms ? I don’t want to guess at how to do this and beak anything. Does anyone know the procedure to remove these arms ? I know spoiler removal has been covered before, but it always seems to be for the earlier glued on version Thanks, Tim

Just been doing some research for when I start my Z project and it seems i'm going to be needing a Boost Controller. After a few searches I can't seem to find which is deemed to be the best one. I've read a bit about the Greddy E-01 models which seem to be a whole box of tricks, but was just wondering if there's any others I should be looking at? Any recommendations from people on here?

Hi there, Merry Christmas one and all... Quick question, I have a 1995 N/a in red. It doesn't have the normal 'table top'(?) spoiler, it has the lower foam one. This is cracking all down one side. The rest of my body work is in great condition. I was thinking about removing it and having nothing at all??? Obviously I get it filled and resprayed etc.. Just wondering what people's thoughts are??? And are there any pitfalls I should look out for during this process? Many thanks for any advice, Adz

ok the drivers door is not opening from the inside or outside and the electrics on the door not working also would it be fuse or is it going to be nightmare to sort because the door is not opening its going to be a pain to get the door panel off cheers trev

stupid thing nearly sent me flying into a curb!!!! gave it some welly off the lights yday and as per usual the rear broke traction, no problem she usualy does just this time the camber of the road made the back step out, again no problem i thought so i went to correct it and the stupid thing kicked the back end over to the curb!!! is that normal or is it broken? if its normal were can i get a lock out bar because its gotta go!!! lol

Hi all, I've finally had time to pop to my girlfriends for the weekend and have taken some pictures of my car. Im hoping you guys can help me identify the aftermarket mods and any missing parts from my engine bay. I've listed what I can see and what I think stuff is, but feel free to tell me if im wrong! Hi there all, Really don't know what to do with my interior. At the moment it has the full blue including the dash and carpets etc. Been told its pretty rare and worth keeping. Problem is I think I don't like it! So need some input on what to do. 1. Keep the blue and put it back to as new. 2. Replace the plastics with a full black interior 3. So I went on the dyno today, but unfortunatly I didn't complete a run. 3 weeks ago, my o/s standard turbo decided it didn't want to be a turbo again, and it was absolutely kerfuffled. Smoking like a good'un and making a horrid grinding noise. Fitted some GT25 hybrid turbo's by Turbo Technics (supplied by Kinugawa Turbo on here) and I ran it in a little bit. I've done about 60-80 miles since fitted and at first it was idling pretty bad, with old oil pluming out of the exhaust still. It has since cleared up, and before the dyno run, I got it up to temperature, and made sure that it was given a decent run out before it went on the rollers. When it came to the …

Hi guys, 2x led problems lol, The 1st is i have the lambo style lights on the rear but wanted to know if anyone knows where they just sell justthe actual lights as i have the panel allready seems most rear light conversions use the same lights, and i see a coach with them too. The 2nd if i convert my dash to say blue leds, how do you go about changing the digital numbers on the air con pod too. Any help appreciated, Thank you.

Has anybody on here ever '*******ised' a pair of LWb side skirts to fit a SWB? I'm not keen on the SWB Veilside type skirts and the questionable Polish versions that are available on ebay from time to time, so I was wondering, how hard/easy/costly would it be to re-work a pair of LWB skirts to fit a shortie'?

well wasn't going to post till my overheating problem solve was at least a week old, but now have a problem, cars been fine for the past 3 and a half days, no over heating, can run above 50 and even boost with no problems whats so ever, but about half hour ago, my eng cont fuse in the engine bay (main fuse box) keeps blowing on me. any ideas? only thing i did was fiddle with my boost gauge (aftermarket thats plumbed into the dash) area as it was no longer changing color. is there anything in that area that is on the same circuit as the engine cont fuse. is it safe to drive with it blown? the engine wants to die on idle but that can be countered by giving i…

on my 90 zx im keen to take the rear spoiler off as i like the look of ones without it. is it easy to do and are there many holes let in the boot to fill in? i think it looks a lot better.
