I´m ready to put some BC Coilovers suspensions to my Z; good friend of mine is going to install them 4 me, but he wrote me this evening this: **Hey I just thought of something unless you change the Camber arms on your suspension, when you lower it will wear the inner part of the tires and will handle like shit.** Wanted to ask the experts around here is this true? I mean I ain´t doubting on his word, but what would happen if I just install the BC without the Camber arms? Merry Xmas!

Looking for some new front brake discs. My Zed has had the conversion to R33/34 discs and calipers. Has anyone used these Ebay specials? They look quite nice....

Hi guys, Got these wheels on my zed, the silver rim part is fake its a type of tin stuck over the actual wheel, I have a few scuffs on these parts, so spoke to spit and polish {wheel refurb company next door to where i use to work} They said pull the tin parts off and they will powder coat the black part again, and machine the silver part back into the actual wheel and said it will look like a cd face, Which sounds good, so pulled off the tin parts today and they are just black for the minute and look better with no scuffs. But the bit i need help with is they have allen key bolts all round, and they are fake (plastic) and i take it they will need remov…

Stemming from a recent conversation I've been racking my brain for inspiration for a wide'ish body conversion for the shortie' but I'm really not a fan of 99% of what's currently available (ie. Strosek/copy of Strosek/copy of a copied Strosek etc). Hi Guys. I have the following wheels on my car. I like these because they are different. However the back one has developed a crack as shown below. Ive taken them to Romax in Stockton. Hes been around for years and has a good reputation. However he said he cannot repair these spilt rims, there may be a specialist who can though. Questions are, has anybody got any of these lying around to buy or does anybody know of a specialist that can repair them.. If not Ive already decided I want a set of 5 spoke black wheels with a polished rim.. Cheers Kev

Anyone steam cleaned their engine bay?? I need to give mine a good clean top and bottom and wondered if anyone had steam cleaned theres?? I have to get underneith with brake cleaner first as lots of oil to clean up after the oil pressure sender decided to leak everywhere, but once thats gone can i steam clean it? or have people had problems with doing this??? Hi guys. Just got a crappy car related phone call. Ive had the zed almost 10 years now and have slowly made it how i want it. Over the last year ive had an engine built. Nice bit of power and a pile of shinyness (is that a word? :)) I recently had my original engine removed and stripped back the engine bay, After finally choosing a colour it went off to the bodyshop, ready to be smoothed and sprayed. The plan was to have the bay done, fit the engine, then full respray. So, back to the crappy phone call. The bodyshop lifted the carpet to remove the loom and found that the passenger side floor is rotten. I suspect ive maybe had a leaking heat…

I have just spent best part of an hour change my ride so that its all up todate to only find that it will not save. Can you please explain why and also tell me what I need to do so that I can edit my ride please :cursing:

Right well its that time again when I need to change a few things and what better place to start than changing the colour of the car so its bye bye to the gold look and hello to a white look. Plus thinking of changing the headlight panel, the bonnet and maybe the rear bumper and for the inside fitting the zcentre 350 gauge pod and all the digital gauges including the main dash cluster, And im sending the wheels of to be referb painted and polished so all in all shound look like a new car next year

First of all, my top pillar gauge pod fills with water, so water is coming down the a pillar somehow. What is the most likely cause? I've already changed the seal around the door and targa hole but still getting in somewhere. :thumbdown: Had to save my HKS gauge before it got water damage! :sneaky2: Secondly, I went to refit my plenum cover today and it wouldnt push down into position at the back, had a look and found that the fuel pressure regulator (I think?) has been bent somewhere between the engine being removed from the past car, sat in the garage for 6 months and then refitted into this car. Guys, I'll finally have my Z at the end of the week, and have already bought a couple of bits for it (throttle cover strip and grounding kit :clap:). My priority for this particular Z is bodywork, including spoiler removal, bodykit and some smoothing. Once that is finished i'll be looking to move on to the rest. There's plenty i'd loke to do and the shopping list is getting bigger each day, but wanted your collective advice on whether there are any essential mods, or mods that i should be giving priority ?

I have an old Alpine TDA-5635 ,it is a tape graphic equaliser thing.i have been trawling the internet looking for fitting diagrams but to no avail so is there any old school ice experts who could help me out ,I know that it is compatible with Sony head units but thats all i know Thanks in advance

Im after some ideas if possible? Ok i want to plumb a balance tube to even out the pressure before the throttle bodies as ive installed an FMIC. My problem is where to install it as i have no room on the pipe work close to the throttle bodies. I was looking into using alloy adaptors that you screw in to the silicone pipework but i cant even do that. Old pics here but gives you an idea.

A long shot but am hoping. Is there anyone on here thats a bit of a whizz when it comes to sorting the electrics out on the z32?. I am at,a standstill and am without a car so really need mine on road asap but am having problems with the electrics and car wont even try to start. So if someone could spare some time to help i would be very grateful. Thankyou.

Seen a few threads on this, but nothing definitive, Andy Isherwood mentioned the manual is wrong, so i drew up a quick image in paint, for those who have installed one before, does this look correct (and no laughing at me diagram, took me 5 mins to do that)

Hey lads, long time, no speak. Merry Christmas and all that to everyone. My career ended and so did my marriage but I've hung onto the Zed. :thumbup1: The wheels are looking a bit tatty. I was thinking of getting them refurbed. They're 'Ace Turbines' - polished alloy outer lip, painted inners with plastic centre caps and there's plastic fake bolts round the edge of the painted bit (fake split rims I guess). The alloy lip and painted inner aren't too bad but could do with improving (scuffs and light corrosion removing and re-finishing). The plastic fake bolts are looking tatty and I suspect can't be replaced or easily improved. Would it be possible / a …

Since about the end of October I have been storing my Z in the garage, perhaps once every 3 weeks or so I am starting it up moving it out of the garage to put my other car in to clean it, once done, starting my z back up and putting it away again. Could this be causing damage to the engine? Thanks, Dan

as promised matey, pictures from when i had her, might want to check over a few things as i mentioned on the phone and its not a pretty picture of her here but she was in the process of getting sorted out when i swapped her for a black TT. More to follow
