This is about the 99 spec bumper I have for sale on Ebay. A guy who clearly has a Z32 due to his user name and may have used Google translate has asked if/how I can send to Spain.

 

Has anyone sent anything so large across europe?

 

I dont want to brush him off, knowing from personal experience what it is like trying to buy something across borders and language (and he has good feedback on Ebay). Any tips appreciated.

 

he is clearly nuts about his car and going for the '99 look when I looked at his 100% feedback including from some members here.

One possibility is to let him know the weight and dimensions and see if he wants to arrange his own courier, thats what I did when I sold a calibra rear bumper to greece.all I had to do was package it in cardboard and wait for it to be collected and it all went smoothly.hope this helps :)

weigh it, then tell him the dimensions in cm for length, width and height.

 

If you then go to interparcel.com and click get quote, it'll tell you how much you can send it for. If thats too much then let him arrange a courier armed with the same info.

okidoke. It's seems it's not been a problem for other then. Getting it weighed though. Now thats a nightmare lol.

I used those scales you can get for weighing suitcases or you could get a pretty good idea if you placed it on some bathroom scales.

just hold it and step on some scales then get on the scales with out the bumper and deduct one from the other and theres your bumper wieght without need to purchase anything.

lol there are two flaws in that plan, as excellent as it is, the worst flaw being we'd then have to know our own weight :( The second being because we don't like knowing our own weight, we don't actually have any working bathroom scales, lol. :D Good idea though.
