Not sure I have one but something weird happened today. On the way to a car meet this morning, I was driving down the motorway next to my mate in his z [trying to compare speeds as his is reading waaaaay out] I accelerated away and thought I felt the clutch slip:huh: now this clutch in my car although fitted 5 years ago has only done less then 3k and its an rps street max with lightened fly etc. I am looking at premature clutch failure?????? There was a awful asbestos smell when driving home, but all works fine!! I can accelerate hard and nothing really weird! Also may be getting paranoid here, but thought the gear shifts were very sloppy! but again after…

My air-conditioning system looses it's refrigerant after a few months, so for the past couple of years I have not bothered to get it re charged. As the compressor is running all the time, (except when set to ECO I believe) am I damaging the compressor itself? Is there any way of checking that there is sufficient lubrication left? Or should I just run in ECO mode permanently for the time being?

I'm thinking of buying some pentroof manifolds and wanna swap the 3bolt greddy td turbo flange for the 4bolt t25 flange How much do you think it will cost for a company to weld on a new flange? Before you say they will crack ect I would add extra bracing ect and also make a mount to take some of the weight of the turbo

I'm just curious really. How much is a clutch worth with no friction plate? I only ask as I have a few lying around and I'm debating on getting rid (maybe). So I have an: RPS street max clutch A Z1 clutch and flywheel combo (I think) I also have a popular 6 puck clutch but I can't remember the name of it at the minute. So are they worth anything?

Hey guys, Most of you would have read the thread or seen on the news what happened to my block of apartments last Friday with the flood waters. Saturday morning I started the awful process of informing my insurance about the incident and finding out where I go from there and the process of putting a claim forward. The car was collected on the Wednesday (damaged front and rear bumpers when dragged onto the loader) and I awaited the call from my insurer (RSA). Well about 20mins ago the call came through along with the settlement offer which I will accept. I knew I wasnt going to get back the thousands I have put into the car but nevertheless I am reasonably happy with …

With regards to the balance bar pre throttle....yep I've got the reasoning behind that but where does the injector holder come into the equation in this advert?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-90-96-Z32-JDM-GReddy-Trust-Hard-Pipes-Injector-Holder-Samco-Hoses-/321016216459?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4abe0ebb8b

It's completely different to the LWB ABS actuator unit, there are no bleed points on it? I topped up the fluid last night, after 4 pumps of the pedal, the pedal go's from really soft - soft - hard'ish - hard (when the engine isn't running) as soon as the ignition is turned on the pedal go's really soft (air in the system) What are the chances that the procedure is to bleed as per user manual but with engine running (but without bleeding the actuator unit as it self bleeds)??

Evening guys Seen as my car is off the road till I replace the broken ignition barrel, and I've had to pull apart the dashboard, I've decided to replace the lights in the control pods with red LEDs. Everything seems to work as far as I can tell, but the lights are really really dim, and I'm starting to think I've made a mistake with either my LED's or my resistors. I'm hoping someone can help. I was under the impression from reading the guides in the FAQ section that I needed 5mm LED's and some 470 Ohm resistors. The resistors and LED's came from Maplins. The resistors I'm using have the colours yellow violet red on them. The packaging says 1/4 W 5%. The L…
