My aftermarket water gauge- not sure its reading correctly, at the moment it is spliced in to the Nissan water temp gauge wiring at the dials unit. so the after market gauge & Nissan gauge works together. With the Nissan temp sensor in place wired from that directly to the aftermarket gauge, when tested the gauge went straight up to 100. I've wired the YELLOW/GREEN wire from the ECU to the after market gauge and the zed went bonkers it did not like it. Wire removed. Any ideas anyone. HOW SHOULD YOU WIRE THE AFTER MARKET GAUGE?

Finally got some bought and fitted, think they were 66.1mm to 73.0 mm, cost me £20 in the end. Best £20 I've ever spent . Since I got the car its always had an awful shake but nothing seemed to cure it. I changed the inner hicas ball joints, the outer hicas ball joints, single piece prop, tyres balanced and re balanced, tracking sorted and a wheel refurb. Although the parts I changed clearly needed changing it still never solved the problem, and nobody seemed to know why. But a couple of shitty bits of plastic later and its never felt so good. So thanks to everyone who helped with this, very much appreciated  .

hi guys done some more rust proofing. I used grey dinitrol 447, and it looked ok but on a white zed thought it would look much better in black so was gonna over paint in gloss black. but instead bought more 447 in black, I think it looks much better. what do you guys think, and now it's got 2 lots of rubber paint so hopefully should be well protected now. and they say it works has a sound proof. before in grey and some in black even did along the wheel arch, when its sprayed next month paint over the bit on the arch and hopefully may help with stones chipping it. thanks for loo king everyone.

Dear All, Been a while since I been on here, but the advice I've received in the past has been great. I've finally had the 120k timing belt kit done on Redrum (1995 300zx NA) plus new spark plugs, oil filter, oil change, coolent etc etc PLUS a Stillen cold air intake! WOW! The speed and acceleration is noticeably improved. Now time for another question, I know from previous experience that you cannot adjust the front camber on the 300zx. I know from previous alignment sessions that my front right camber is off by a tiny %, meaning I have a slight pull to the left. I've been told by people on this forum that it could potentially be fixed by putting in a 'Shim' to…

Hi everyone, its been a while since coming on here with a post i have mainly just popped in now and again to have a read due to my zed being problem free for so long. The next night i got too work again all fine i deciddd to give it s couple of revs in the car park and check the leak situation again. well.... The passenge…

Im reading different things on how to prep old paintwork for new paint. So far i've thoroughly degreased everything. Sanded off any bits of surface rust then rubbed with thinners and sprayed those spots with primer. Now how do I prep the old paint so the new paint sticks properly? I've read about keying the surface with wet and dry but isn't that just going to make it dusty? With the way thinners removes paint it seems pointless to sand it then rub with thinners or is that the way it's supposed to be done?

Hi All Been a while since I've been on here...perhaps a testament to how well the Zed has been running! lol I have a rough running issue which I believe to be related to cylinder 6. I've checked CAS, PTU, injectors are ticking, checked all connections around the engine bay etc. I'm thinking it may be something to do with the coil pack or the spark plug.... ...however, I don't have the tools or know how to go much further. I've just moved house too so don't know anyone local that might be able to assist. So does anyone on here know of anyone in the locale or Croydon / South London that might be able to? Thanks in anticipation! Vig
