I'm doing an engine transplant today and urgently require an engine crane. Mark (MarkDerby) has one, but he has to try squeeze it into his zed when he comes to help today, if there is anybody who either has and engine crane they can move easily OR a vehicle large enough to help Mark with his crane in Derby it would be very much appreciated! I am in coventry and can be contacted on 07891970417

Took my TT out for a spin, about 5 miles down the road the clutch peddle banged and springed towards the carpet !!! Wasn't sure what happened but carried in in 3rd :( I had to navigate home avoiding junctions so it wouldn't stall, eventually got home and took me fookin ages to get the little fookin pin back in its bent holes!!!! Yes I was fuming, just got over it now ,LOL SO.....if it happens to you , hire a dwarf or midget, coz were just too big to be upside down in a footwell for 2 hours ,LOL

Showed these off at JAE to many, some did give me a bit of ribbing  but I have now done these to update my youtube channel - thought some might like to view. First one, even for me this is a little flash so if I like I can just have it lit without flashing. Also my HID front fogs  [video=youtube_share;vjZSNl27_yE] This video shows off what my turbo timer does and my auto folding mirrors with window lift  [video=youtube_share;5HK4VAtQV10] Showing mirror fold from the front [video=youtube_share;IpaQ4lVtACY] This one shows that I still maintain manual control of the mirrors :thumbup1:…

how drivable are they for every day driving? Any opinions based on personal experience greatly appreciated. My clutch has started slipping today & have always run a RPS street clutch. I have a new puck clutch in my garage (unknown make) that I could fit but was wondering what it was like on a day to day basis - to be honest I use the car daily but mainly short runs & it doesnt get too much abuse, an occasional blast but not much more.

Hi chaps After bringing my car home from Zedworld and since speaking to Jeff, seems like it may be a setting to do with the Alarm... My car is a series 2, and when the engine was turned off the side mirrors automatically fold in and the doors unlock. The buttons are all in the same positions before they went to Zedworld. Now, the doors still seem to lock/unlock as before, but the mirrors dont automatically fold anymore. Also, when I start the car, the turbo timer comes on as normal and sets itself at 60 seconds, but then when the engine is turned off (regardless of how long it has been running) the turbo timer just goes straight off and does not run down. …

The FD had a T88 single turbo conversion but had no filter, just a wire mesh cover now I've seen a few drag cars run without filters and I'm aware of the issues that could result from foreign debris entering into the turbo inlet and I know that the zed's turbos sit really low in the engine bay and may not be best placed for this practice however, has anybody on here considered the benefits of running filterless turbos (at least for a few blasts as Santa Pod)?

Picked up a few bits from concept z when I was in San Francisco the other day. Unfortunately I could only get small stuff to fit in my case otherwise I would've had loads off them. The centre console speaker is from eBay.com. They shipped everything out the next day, great service, wish I'd got more stuff now. Also included a few picks of the Golden Gate Bridge, looks great in the fog. http://s1134.beta.photobucket.com/user/tmogsy/library/concept%20z

Water bypass...EGR gone...now next i want to make this crankcase venting thing simple in the form of tossing the PCV valves into next doors garden and all its crap that goes with it and have a catch can for the 2 cam cover breathers near the throttle bodies venting to the ozone layer old school style,so the only thing going into the plenum is fuel and fresh air. Would you like to discuss:yes:

Mine is missing (?) not sure when , where or how but it's not in there anymore Would the fact that this is missing be the cause of my not having any brake lights at all? *in fact the lights have gone a bit manic at the moment, the inicators work but flash quickly, the headlights are on full beam only (irrespective of switch position, no side lights in either position) This car needs to have a word with itself or else it's going down range and getting fragged!!!

My SWB TT came from the factory with the new electric HICAS and therefore was fitted with an NA power steering pump rather than the usual TT power steering pump with hydraulic HICAS solonoid/TT PAS pot etc. The electric HICAS has since been removed and I've noted that there is not a PAS cooler fitted to these models as standard. I've now mounted a PAS cooler but am trying to determine the correct connection points on the NA power steering pump for the two hose connections that run to the cooler. Could somebody post up a pic if their NA power steering pump showing where the PAS cooler hose connections are please thanks

Just out of interest more than anything (because the ABS is going anyway) I'm trying to figure what is up with the ABS system on my SWB. Ever since swapping the stock rears for 6 pots the pedal feel is really soft, in fact the brakes near as damn it don't work. Now the brakes have been bled thoroughly (twice) and all is fitted correctly (new copper washers and banjo bolts etc) but there seems to be something up with the ABS unit behind the drivers seat. When the engine is ticking over and the brake pedal is pressed, the revs drop ever so slightly by a few hundred RPM. The brake pedal is really soft and there seems to be a quiet hiss sound coming from the ABS unit be…

I have a problem with audio noise. I have installed indiglo dials from http://www.moman.pl . I have a bit of dynamo noise, but the real problem is noise when I turn on the lights - that would be the indiglo dials that goes on. When the audio is on I get a high pitch noise that is constant. Anyone have any good ideas..... - tried running phonocabels outside the car - did not help - tried earthing the amp do a different place. Also directly from battery- did not help - tried another amp - same problem - tried remove the cd-player - when moving the player I sometimes got tid of the noise - earth together maybe?
