After it is fully degreased, any traces of surface rust, scratches etc. removed, there will be parts with bare metal, what is the best primer to use on a combination of paint and bare metal? I'm also restoring a lambretta, so this will help with that too if anyone can recommend anything? Cheers, Tudor.

Another year, another GOR done and dusted. Had an awesome day and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. It was so good to finally be back driving my beloved Z again after 11 months of begin off the road hich also made this years GOR cruise extra special as I finally got a chance to relieve my hugh 2000spec replica project to the Vic members and get some feedback and support from the guys before I post anything to the rest of the forums. The cruise began as it always has at the Todd Rd servo/KFC meet point. By the time I had arrived there were at least 10 Zs already parked in the car park and the owners were already chatting away. As I had hoped for my Z created alot of atte…

As matter fact if you notice this same colour is the one that sorrunds the side mirrors... Please I am desperate; anyone one knows what colour is this and the code if possible? or where can I get this informat…

As it was dark i didnt see much of your car, but i did notice the rear lights, looked like the standard bar lights but masked to make them round?

My Z is scaring me a bit lately. When i turn the wheel at 30 degrees while driving the car does not seem to turn enough so when i turn the wheel more the car steering hits a byte point and turns but with a NASTY JURKING byte) Feels like aquaplaning but I cant see why as my tires are only a year old and a good brand any ideas?

Does anyone know where I can get a generic resuable zip tie that clips to the bodywork like those used to hold the loom in place? I've had a search but can't find anything but that's probably as I don't know what to call them

I've just put a brand new fan belt on and it seems to be tight enough but it keeps slipping when I first start the car, or let the revs drop low, or the engines under load like lights on and stuff? Paul

Just wondered about Horns people are using? and what is not permitted... as I have only pressed the horn once on my zed. and not sure if this is a JDM thing... but Good Lord, the thing sounds like a knackered Reebok Classic :D thought of dual tone AIR Horn on 12v. but not sure if that fits the bill, and wondered about tones they produce.. also tempted to check with a mechanic friend of mine if he is going to scrap any customers car that has a Good horn maybe.... but will sure have a listen to it first :D My current horn is actually a twin Jap Exhaust... will need to take a Pic of the writing and find out more about it. as it sounds Great... ( for the 1st time i got …

Hi all, I'm having my wheels returned this week and I'm concerned that they're gonna make my standard, but tired looking callipers look even worst! I've always been a fan of red (especially as the car is also red) or shall I go silver, or somet totally different? Could give them a good wire brush and tidy up and keep it standard but whatcha y'all reckon?

right i have seen a few diagrams of fitting for the boost controller. i get that the actuator pipes need to be T'd together and ran to the solenoid but do you T off to both intercooler pipes or just the one and blank of the other pipe that run to the other side of the solenoid?!?!?! i would have thought being a twin setup it would have to be T'd to both...... im totally confused with this

Afternoon guys, Started my zed up this afternoon to run it for a short while (it's off the road now for winter), just to make sure that there are no problems with it, no leaks or anything, and of course to keep the battery charged... I know it's been sat for a week and its been cold but there seemed an awful lot of smoke coming out the exhaust - is this normal or should I be concerned? Vid of smoke below: qve-fNzX5Ww Also, after turning the engine off, for a minute or so after the engine goes off there are some small wisps of smoke that come from the exhaust as well, see other vid: S8dTid5Cif0 Am I just being paranoid or is there anyth…
