Thank you AndyP for sending me 3 x chips for me to try :cool3: On trying them all today I am now struggling with the chip that was known working at the start of the day :mad2: Is this wire not helping? It was frayed badly and any exposed wire as now fallen off, does it need ring spading up and connecting properly under the casing cover screw bolt?

Hello all! So I have dropped my Zed off for the annual service / MOT and am ordering new tires all round. Since i have just insured my lovely partner on the machine (for those nights when I need to be ferried home drunk) I want to fit good performance tyres on so she doesn't kill us both. In particular, rain performance would be high on my list as the councils around where she lives seem to enjoy leaving lots of standing water around. If I could do that without banrupting myself it would be spiffing. So - any suggestions lads?

I'm absolutely certain this has been asked before but I cant find the thread... In my Zed I've got the rear Bose speakers. What size are the speakers inside the Bose pods as I am looking at replacing the speakers at the same time as I do the fronts over the winter? Cheers Alex

My Zed has been vandalised for the second time now after owning it for just 2 months :( First time they slashed both of my rear tyres. Today I have found it with both front tyres slashed, left wing mirror broken and with a nice mix of white paint, eggs tomatoes and flour over it. No idea who would do this. So my question is what should I do now? I really cant afford to keep sorting it out and by this rate it will be up in flames by Christmas. Some points... I dont have a view of the street I park in from my flat. There are other streets to park in but they are usually full and I end up parking in this one. There is a privat…

Just seen this on wheeler dealers looks to be fantastic stuff. http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk/power-cool-180-for-performance-cars.html Does anyone use it? What do you all think? If it does what it says it would solve a lot of issues that zeds suffer from..

If it proves that my turbos are knackered, what are my options? Should I get the standard ones refurbished or do I buy some new units from ebay, probably Chinese. They are meant to be upgrades for the 200SX, but are under £200 each.:confused1:

Crank off setting .... does any of you's know anything about it ... was speaking to some tech guy and he was saying i could regrind/offset the big ends on the crank by about .50thou ( max bearing size ) this in turn would be like stroking the engine now i know this would drop the Piston TDC by about 1>2mm and decrease the com .. and to over come the comp drop the block can be skimmed/decked to bring back the comp or even raise it a little. does this sound a sound right and any one done such thing ? thanks again Mark

Right, well just need to know what you guys think I'm sure this has been discussed in the past(not when I was on here) anyways my SWB is on 17's... specifically 9j and 10j I have a choice of going for 18's for fair amount of cash or keeping these 17's or getting different 17's for not so much cash so what are people's opinion on 17's and 18's, personally I love 18's on the Z32, but I am planning on making my Z into a semi-track car and I'd like to run decent slicks or semi-slicks which 17's be best for. looks wise... what you guys think? Noticed a weird issue with my speedo yesterday that I don't think it has done before. Every time I got to a certain speed, the speedo dropped to zero. When I went below the speed it had stopped at, it starts working again. As background, I bought a new set of clocks a month ago but the speedo would stop working intermittently (and the mileage stopped as well). As a JDM I had a KMH to MPH converter on the old clocks, I wired the new clock the same as the old ones. After checking the wires were all OK, I swapped the converter to the one that came with the new clocks and tried again, same problem and then the clocks stopped altogether. I swapped the old clocks…

Thought I'd have a bit of an investigation into the limits of the stock turbo & fueling system in my TT Auto: Result: The map is just a work in progress I created recently. Max duty on the stock 370cc injectors at stock fuel pressure was 94% at the highlighted point with a nice 'safe' AFR of 11.89:1. 1.4 bar was the maximum boost pressure in the mid range, as RPM increases the tubbies cannot produce anywhere near this boost (yes, I know they are being pushed to the ragged edge). Still running stock elbows, downpipes, cats & SMICs. I personally don't mind running injectors at 90%+ duty, I have done it for years on various vehicles, but lower obviously …

Please Help. For some reason the the refitting of both door handles is proving impossible. I have all the pieces including the plastic central locking and wondered whether any one knew or knows anyone within reasonable distance in Surrey/Sussex or Kent who could do it for me. Many thanks Brian
