Hi guys, I know I'm nuts lol. Lining panels up on my motor, nearly happy with it. Last bit to do is the bonnet where it runs along the wings. I have lined it up so wings are slightly higher then bonnet the whole distance both sides. Before bonnet was lower then wings at the front by the headlights and higher then wings at the scuttle panel. So if u looked at car from side u could see gap at the top tapering down to nothing around halfway down the bonnet. Now I have wings higher can't see no gap the full length of bonnet wing from the side. Which to me looks better. Wondered if any of u guys know how it should be when new, Bonnet hig…

I Have been thinking of wrapping parts of the car for a while. initially, i was thinking of wrapping just the two bumpers. now I am tempted to do the Bonnet and T-Bar. although there are few questions springing to mind frequently. 1: will Vinyl handle engine heat, and maintain its quality? for external bonnet use ONLY. 2: how durable and consistent is it to use. 3: does anyone here have first hand experience with this material? and your take on using it.. positives and negatives. 4: does Vinyl require lacquer application to protect? Thank you in advance. and looking forward to hearing the pro's and cons of this material :)

Bit of a random Q but how long is the vg30dett from the crank nose to the tail (flywheel) ? Also, does anybody know if the RB25 and Z32 bellhousings / tailshafts differ?

Hi guys, new 300 owner here, I had a 200sx S13 for about 4 years so im not a complete newbie but here goes. My car is idleing very high at around 1800RPM but not all the time, cold start it idles high (as expected) at about 1800 if i leave the car idling and don't drive it takes a few mins but then eventually warms up enough and the idle drops down to around 800rpm but if i drive the car more often than not the idle then sticks at about 1800rpm it doesn't hunt or anything stays at a constant 1800rpm. Occasionaly the idle does go back down to 800rpm but this is proberbly 1 in 10 times I use the car. Sometimes i've also noticed idle changes when turning off…

I did some stuff for a guy in Sweden recently and he wants to buy a Zed from the UK and get it imported to Sweden. Would anyone know what processes/forms etc he would need or go through? He mentioned a V5 form but I dont know what that is :whistling: He has found one or 2 Zeds that are looking really promising and then he plans to fly over and hopefully buy one then drive it home (obviously via a ferry I should imagine) Any help would be really appreciated guys that I could forward onto him. Cheers :thumbup1:

Hi Where can i get the following connectors? I need to replace them as the metal prongs have snapped due to age when checking bulbs. Can i get the whole plug to just solder back in or even just the metal centres. They are the side light plugs on the same light as the front fog.

Hi guys A few days ago I swapped my ECU chip from a TurboNoz Stage 1 back the the OEM one, to see the difference. The car mostly runs fine, and it might be my imagination but it seems a bit smoother and quieter which is nice. Anyway the one problem I am having is with the car idling. When cold it idles perfectly, rock steady at around 1000rpm. As the engine warms it goes down to around 700ish, which I am led to believe is correct. After a bit more driving (maybe 15 minutes) the idle starts to fluctuate, sometimes dropping as low as 500 rpm. It also feels like it hesitates a bit from a standing start. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on why …

Been through everything with my n/a jap import Z I can confirm *no air leaks *all electircal components ohm test fine, are connecting well and operating correctly. *cas has to be turned to full advance to have any power. cas has been checked, is no wear to splines or half moons in cam end or cas unit itself. *using around 50 litres fuel for 300km mixed driving. *fitted an aftermarket fuel reg, fuel at 43psi when engine cold and barely missing, fuel pressure drops to 40psi at idle when upto temp and missing issues increase. *fuel filter when emptied can only be described as instant coffee granules in my fuel *park car outside shops warm, sometimes har…

is there anyway to sort out the retraction of the above seat belts? ive had my door one off today and it was a bit foobar when opening it up, had bits fall out due to age, it still works, but i have to feed it back into its roller, the passenger side is even worse and really needs some encouragement to get back into its resting place.

Does anyone know of a company or even a person that could be a Uk distributor for Twinz Design? (Not Z-Centre) I'm after some of their brilliant stuff but they tell me the nearest distributor they have is in mainland Europe which makes delivery prices absolutely crazy! They are currently looking for a UK distributor so I thought I might try and help.

Hi guys, Been messing about with my car getting body panels etc fitting right before painting. Bought 99spec rear spoiler, fitted it on boot and now don't know if I like it.... It looks weird. Then there's a thread on here about 99spec rear lights. Find it in a second and write what it's called and there's white z with no spoiler which looks great. Making me want to stay spoilerless. I hate this car lol. So guys what would use do 99spec spoiler or no spoiler. 99spec looks weird from some angles or is it just me. Boot is black and spoiler red gotta be painted not helping much. Seems spoiled is not wide enough. Maybe if all the same colou…

Reet, I shall start at the beginning... When I rebuilt my engine, I bought several tubes of, apparently, the best liquid gasket there is, from the company that re-bored my block. Turns out this stuff is utter pants, goes on great, but turns to dust after a couple of months. So, after monumental failure of it in various places, (including the water hard pipes at the front of the engine), it failed on both VTC solenoids, but the drivers side being the worse, in a short time, without knowing, it pissed most of it's oil out, all over everything (my shiny and brand new SS exhaust looks like it has been tarmacked). I only knew, after booting it, I would leave a motorway fu…
