Hi Guys, Is there any replacements for the rear light bulbs that make them more brighter? Mine seem a bit dull to be honest.

Reet, I shall start at the beginning... When I rebuilt my engine, I bought several tubes of, apparently, the best liquid gasket there is, from the company that re-bored my block. Turns out this stuff is utter pants, goes on great, but turns to dust after a couple of months. So, after monumental failure of it in various places, (including the water hard pipes at the front of the engine), it failed on both VTC solenoids, but the drivers side being the worse, in a short time, without knowing, it pissed most of it's oil out, all over everything (my shiny and brand new SS exhaust looks like it has been tarmacked). Daft ones but just want to be sure before I get started. Would you fit a new crankshaft oil seal and crankshaft bolts? Anybody know the torque settings? Is Mr F the best place for these? Gearbox oil - any preferences, how much and where are the level filling points Im fitting a fidanza flywheel so should I put new flywheel to crank and pressure plate to flywheel bolts on or can I re use? Should I use loctite and what torque settings are they? Lots of questions, just want to be certain before I have a go.. Cheers

Hi, Trying to get something wired up and there's 2 gray wires labelled to be connected to the starter solenoid. Any idea where I can wire these into? Cheers Vijay

I want to rewire my side lights from my award winning fairy lights down next to my front indicator lights. I found the FAQ http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?76538-LED-front-side-lights but a lot of it is about making a hole and fitting the bulb into the light enclosure, . I already have that in mine as they are US style ones. What bulbs and additional work would be needed to change the standard bulbs into LED's so that they match my HID lights?

hi guys car is still restricted which I believe is 118mph bit surprised when it drove faster. I was getting the speed from a gps, I know that the clock does not read true but how inacurate would you expect the regulator to be?

Hi Guys, i'm in the process of putting a gearbox back onto my car, before the gearbox is installed, is there anything that needs to be put on first, above the box, i seem to recall something but its been so long that my tablets wont let me remember. I've got a heatshield that goes further down over the drive shaft, so thats one, but i thought there was 2...Also, if you know of any gotchas, things that i remember to do only after i have put it all back, i would appreciate your input, and pictures dont forget... am i correct in assuming that oyu use dextron inthe power steeriig same as auto box

just a question...is the centre console in the SWB the same as the LWB? upto and including the cubby arm rest bit or are they different lengths? cheers

Could some fine upstanding person tell me a little about the flare that is standard fitment to Jap imports. How it functions/ how long it lasts (both inevitabilities of life time and scope)/ possible replacements/ harmful side effects/ basic aplication etc. I would love to be enlightened on the subject. thanks in advance..S.

i know its been done to detah but after looking for it jeffs picture doesnt seem to work anymore.... anyways logically looking at it i can quite happily see that there are two take offs from the water hose to the heater matrix. each of these take offs go to the turbo water feeds. now obviously you simply loop these up and delete the section that previously went under the plenum. and link up the return circuit.. yeah im a little confused pictures worth a thousand words as they say guys so please share your pics.

Well, first time taking my car up the strip at pod, really need to work on my launch as got no launch controller. had 4 runs in total went up against markdarby. i think we could of had bets on who was going to blow up first on that first run, i had my boost controller off for the first run as well, did 3 runs in the right hand lane, and the last in the left hand. Anyway here are my times. Run 1. 15.03 @101.67mph (boost controller off 9psi) Run 2. 14.93 @105.43mph (boost controller on high 18psi) Run 3. 14.43 @103.54mph (Boost controller on high 18psi) Run 4. 15.05 @93.5mph (boost controller on high 18psi) Kept bogging down on take off as not enough revs…

what can you tell me from this engine number..... vg30 253395y and all of my pistons have 30P written on them with a varying 3 digit number, the confusing thing is this... the other pistons from 3 different turbo engines ive seen have 30P1 written on them.... anyone care to explain?:detective:

Finally decided to remove my rear spoiler today, not as bad a job as first thought. Corrosion was not that bad either. Bit of repair work to do with the old mig welder but all in all, not that bad. Can a mod alter the title please? should read, "Rear spoiler is off." doh

Afternoon chaps I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the drivers side front speaker was hanging out of the door. A few days later it fell out :/ Never really bothered me as my Zed was in the garage getting fixed but now I have it back its annoying me! Basically, the previous owner, instead of replacing the stock speakers with ones of the same size, has cut holes out of the door to fit some bigger ones in. They were only screwed in loosely and it just looks a mess. The speaker now wont screw back in as its just too loose, falls straight back out. How would it be best for me to get it back in? Do I need to get hold of some sort of housing or will there b…
