Hi Guys, I am looking to run a subwoofer and to do that i need to run the power cable to the sub, what the best place in the firewall to run a cable through? It is my first time so bare with me on this one. Any advice would be great!! :)

I am in the process of trying to get the HICAS on my car back up and running. Fuse had been taken out by previous owner which I have now put back in. When trying to put into diagnostic mode, having a lot of trouble. In the manual I have, it states that only European models have the HICAS light, is this correct? I have the dash with no turbo gauge. Anyway, aside from this I can only assume that the steering wheel boss is not HICAS compatible but wondered whether there was anything else to try or how to check before I just order a new one?

I've been behind the stereo and as far as I'm aware I haven't moved/changed any wiring. When I lock the car with the fob it gives a long continuous beep. I know it does this when a door is left open (physically). I've noticed that my passenger door has suddenly decided it doesn't lock with the alarm fob or when locking it with the drivers door. I haven't a clue what's going on here and don't really want to leave my car open all night. Can anyone help?

Ok I have just got some new targa top and door seals and don't have a scooby on how to takethe old ones off and the new ones on anyone got any tips or advice for me please :)

Why does everything I ever need to get to have to be a PITA!!!!!!! Had to change my headlight fuse and now my back , neck and arm hurt from just twisting in to reach the cover :mad2:

Wheres a good place to purchase a set of plugs and oil filter, and what oil is everyone reccomending on the full change? Im running 14.5psi off stock (boost controller) so i think thats the PFR6B-11B plug?? appreciate pointing in the right direction, opie appears expensive at the moment compared to others online.

After i installed a chip to ecu. Few days later my engine I start to feel lag between 2-3k rpm the rest of power is ok. Power is coming stops and starts to run again soon hits over 3000 revs. Is this could be my chip error or is it something else. Also i think I am running little bit to reach because some time my exhaust shoots the sound on just 4k rpm. Can it be my o2 sensors?

well were do i start went down to see barry today at manchester to see is 300 what a car it is amazing what he as spent on it how nice it is it looks stuning and sound amazing he wants 10000 grand for it and that is a lot of money but not for this car ho ever gets this car is getting one hell of car i told him i will buy it if he still has when the time is right for me so fingers cross no one dose then i can well done barry for one hell of a machine and thanks for letting me look at thanks mate : nathan

Hi guys, I know I'm nuts lol. Lining panels up on my motor, nearly happy with it. Last bit to do is the bonnet where it runs along the wings. I have lined it up so wings are slightly higher then bonnet the whole distance both sides. Before bonnet was lower then wings at the front by the headlights and higher then wings at the scuttle panel. So if u looked at car from side u could see gap at the top tapering down to nothing around halfway down the bonnet. Now I have wings higher can't see no gap the full length of bonnet wing from the side. Which to me looks better. Wondered if any of u guys know how it should be when new, Bonnet hig…

I Have been thinking of wrapping parts of the car for a while. initially, i was thinking of wrapping just the two bumpers. now I am tempted to do the Bonnet and T-Bar. although there are few questions springing to mind frequently. 1: will Vinyl handle engine heat, and maintain its quality? for external bonnet use ONLY. 2: how durable and consistent is it to use. 3: does anyone here have first hand experience with this material? and your take on using it.. positives and negatives. 4: does Vinyl require lacquer application to protect? Thank you in advance. and looking forward to hearing the pro's and cons of this material :)

Bit of a random Q but how long is the vg30dett from the crank nose to the tail (flywheel) ? Also, does anybody know if the RB25 and Z32 bellhousings / tailshafts differ?

Hi guys, new 300 owner here, I had a 200sx S13 for about 4 years so im not a complete newbie but here goes. My car is idleing very high at around 1800RPM but not all the time, cold start it idles high (as expected) at about 1800 if i leave the car idling and don't drive it takes a few mins but then eventually warms up enough and the idle drops down to around 800rpm but if i drive the car more often than not the idle then sticks at about 1800rpm it doesn't hunt or anything stays at a constant 1800rpm. Occasionaly the idle does go back down to 800rpm but this is proberbly 1 in 10 times I use the car. Sometimes i've also noticed idle changes when turning off…

I'm jt curious what would happen if someone put series 2 pods on a series 1 with the series 1 air con ecu thingy? Would they still work etc?
